You are on Page 940
His glowing eyes move back and forth
as he prowls through the grass
Nothing much can see him as
He's moving way too fast!
His long slinky body
Glides along the rotten land
Speeding through this forest
As fast as anyone can
His short wings are folded
against his smooth back
anything can go
as soon as he can attack.
Why is this Hissi
Invisible to the eye?
You can't see him no matter what,
No matter how hard you try.
The scales, they shine although so black
through the small-sized river.
The Hissi comes to a small Petpet
with electric shocks of quiver.
The Hissi smiles and
approaches behind the little pet.
Now don't stop reading, reader,
because I swear you won't regret.
The Petpet squealed and backed up,
behind a nearby tree.
His heart pounding and ears thumping
His brain stopped in three.
The shiny Hissi gasped,
the back of the tree he went in.
when he saw the Petpet he exclaimed,
"Goppy! Where have you BEEN?"
The Ghost Lupe
One of the best places to be.
There are happy Neopets ready to greet you,
And lead you to the top sights to see.
But there is someone else watching too...
Avast, there be a ship,
Made out of rotting wood, the mast ripped.
You look away but not for long,
and when you look back the ship is gone.
Puzzled, you try to forget about it.
You continue and try to figure the boat's fate.
A pair of yellow eyes watches you, lit
with a certain undying hate.
The beast looks for his bride.
His life, his joy, his pride.
He'd never forget that one day,
when the natives came and took her away.
Helpless in his ways,
he has searched for her night and day.
But what ails him the most,
is the fact that he is a ghost.
He haunts the land.
He leaves his presence known,
pawprints in the forests, in the sand...
Almost anywhere he may roam.
The villagers know him well.
Of his story they'll tell.
About a Lupe who tried to save his wife,
and he ended up giving his own life.
The Witch's Tower
In the woods, and through the fog
In the depths of a haunted lair
Resides a witch wearing a hat
That covers her green tinted hair
Led to by a pile of steps
Which quarry hands had found
A sign which read "Beware"
Was staked into the ground
Items seen by few are present
All rare; none of which are new
Bottles containing all ingredients
Including creatures which she once slew
Hovered over a cauldron hot
She mixes the items known
Needing a few for now not then
Unhappy she waits alone
The clock strikes twelve
She sighs and paces the room
Waiting for the item to come
Though it was needed here by noon
A knock sounds on the door
She runs to it with a grin
"Be gone!" she yells in an angry tone
To her being late is a sin
The mixture will do unfinished
For the helper was too late
By now the potion has gone bad
So she will wait until another date
For she will find a way
To get back at those who are slow
She contemplates a spell
She has her ways you know
The Most Exhilirating Neopian Game
Nations from near and far, united,
For few ceremonious days
Friends and enemies join, antsy,
Regarding such fine sportsmen play
High in the stands of grand Colosseum,
Kings and Queens do chat,
Of rivals, glory and fame to behold,
Illustrious, enthralling combat.
Alas, which team is right to join?
Each Neopian frets
For bullying, losses and humiliation
Could lead to great regrets
Faerieland, for the feminine,
Or Altador, the host?
Darigan chants echo their win,
Beware, the time is not now to boast.
The countdown starts: two days to go!
Until the game's afoot
Players yearning for the trophy, the delight!
The dignity on their names to be put
Colosseum is quiet, at least for now,
No roaring crowd to contain
The Altador Cup is back in time,
The most exhilarating Neopian game.
Villains we see;
As a source of our misery.
Never once had it crossed our minds;
Why villains become villainous, find?
Sad pasts, all of which belongs to villains.
Woe befell their twisted faces,
And turned their hearts to stone.
Lost in an endless abyss,
Ever clamoring to be heard.
What past story has Jhudora?
What sadness lurks in Sloth?
What made Eliv Thade hate?
What twisted Balthazar to the cruelest?
For no one is truly a villain;
No one is full evil.
Everyone has their own hopes...
To someday love and be loved in return.
Sympathy on all those villains;
Although seeming evil and cruel.
For it was not them who chose to be this way
We ourselves are to blame.
