BUZZ DAY SPECIAL
A Buzz Life
Tiny Buzz of lightest green
Cries softly, remains unseen,
Tears rolling down baby face,
Neopians crowd around.
"Oh, whatever should we do?"
They ponder and think it through.
A conclusion drawn: it's time
A family must be found!
Wings spread out, the cries have stopped.
Tiny Buzz searched whilst he hopped,
Hoping someone wants him so...
To take him in their loving arms.
Slowly, the sun starts to set,
Tiny Buzz does start to fret,
Waiting on a hill - alone.
The night sky is full of fear.
Shivering, Tiny Buzz weeps.
Through cracks in the ground, it seeps.
Someone waiting patiently
In the shadows: who?
A miracle has appeared!
Neopians loudly cheered!
Tiny Buzz smiles once again
And his dream came true at last:
To be loved... it's a Buzz life.
Kep Bonnefie of Team Darigan
Extra! Extra! News did call,
A message sent to one and all.
For scandal seemed so close at hand,
And gossip now spread through the land.
For lies and whispers, tales tall,
Did haunt the Queen of Yooyuball.
Kep's reputation was a mess,
A troubling quandary, I confess.
Her loud defence was never heard,
For all preferred more vicious word.
Each protest made the papers sell,
Such horrid stories, did they tell.
This Buzz of Darigan's fine team
Would fall to ruin, it did seem.
Each day brought rumours cruel and new,
And no one cared if they were true.
Frustrated at each twisted word,
She vowed no more would thus be heard.
She swore that silence was her right,
And never spoke, not since that night.
Unheard by all, the Buzz's voice,
To save herself, she made that choice.
So as the players catch and run,
Beware of Kep, the silent one!
Servant of a hungry Skeith,
Wings are clear like glass.
Eating some tigersquashes,
Feeling very full.
Very good eyesight,
Comes in thirty-six colours,
Has two pairs of wings.
On favourite chart,
He is the thirty-seventh,
Not too popular.
Tiny baby Buzz,
He does not have any wings,
Crawls on his stomach.
The Darigan Buzz
Has dark purple and black bands
And evil red eyes.
Resemble large blue lobsters,
The soft plushie Buzz,
Very cute and huggable,
Wings have orange spots.
Speeding through the sky,
Feeling the wind on his face,
Smelling the fresh air.
The Buzz Ballet
Delicate flitters of iridescent wings
Swirls and twirls, ducks and flings,
In graceful garb, colourful markings,
As they dance and they bow --
The Buzz Ballet commences now.
Music soaring into the sky,
The Buzz take wing to fly.
Spectators keep watch nearby
As they cavort and loop with skill
With tricks guaranteed to thrill.
Leaping into a pirouette,
But the finale hasn't occurred yet.
As they gather into duets
Now for the greatest display,
The breathless have been waiting all day.
Partners begin a precarious spin,
Excitement escalates and builds within.
Letting go they fly into a tailspin
In complicated patterns, zooming about,
Barely missing each other or knocking out.
Music slows, antennae keep the beat,
Waltzing with whomever they meet,
An aerial bow or curtsy they greet.
As the crowds go wild, throwing petals,
The Aerial Buzz Ballet music settles.
The Festival of Buzz Has Arrived!
Buzz buzz, buzz buzz...
A rapid flapping fills the air,
A twittering of joy without a care,
Compound eyes see all about,
And what they see is worthy of shouts.
The Festival of Buzz has arrived at last,
And so many of them are joining the cast.
Red, blue, green, and yellow,
Striped and pink, but not marshmallow,
Gifts and gifts and gifts galore,
Presents and parcels, plus many more.
The Buzz Festival is here at last,
Let's enjoy everything,
And make the memories last!
