Ode to the Snow Faerie
By Kirsche474

Drifting down
Like feathers on the air,
Cold snowflakes fall
On Terror Mountain bare.

One stands alone,
Braving what her sisters will not --
Taelia the Snow Faerie,
Against cold and hard times forgot.

Wings hidden
Beneath a thick furred coat,
With only questers for company,
Looking for even the tiniest mote.

Taelia, light in the cold
And bitter winter's biting chains,
The aid that you give, the good that you do
Ensures your heart's warmth remains.

A Day in Terror Mountain
By Chaenda

One snowy day in Terror Mountain,
Bruces danced around a fountain,
What a beauty, it was made of gold
And unknown secrets yet to be told.

Flapping their wings as they danced around,
Water being splashed onto the snowy ground,
The water was so warm and clear,
And havoc was not one bit near.

After doing so, they skated on ice,
They felt like scurrying little mice,
Then a Bruce shouted "The ice is breaking!"
Then cried everyone, "Now we can't go skating!"

So in the snow, they all sat down,
And all the Bruces shared a frown.
"I have an idea!" a little Bruce said.
He walked away, and behind him the Bruces fled.

He jumped into a crystal spring,
And all the Bruces flapped their wings,
Round and round they went,
Until all their bodies became bent.

An Ode to a Snowbunny
By Lemonlovingcutie

Her colour is that of twilight
Mixed with that of fallen snow;
Her ears hang back with a broken tilt,
With paws so silent she may go.

She holds her stature gingerly,
With a belly held close to the ground.
A happy little creature she is,
Unlike any other around.

Her origins are unknown,
For she was given as a holiday gift.
Her paws indent the soft snow,
As she strides into a snow drift.

A little friend she is of mine,
A shadow by my side.
Sometimes she goes unnoticed,
For she hides behind my stride.

A shy creature at heart,
A spotlight on this day I will give
For all the dear ones such alike
Go noticed as long as they shall live.

Up the Mountain
By Yomote

The wind grows calm in its wintry bed.
All the way down below does
The wind, the rain, and ice still spread.

This is what has always been and how
It shall be on this
Mountain of rock and snow, which now
Blows with ferocity. It starts again,
This wintry blizzard. High on the
Caps of Terror Mountain.

Higher and higher must the Neopet climb
To claim a prize and heal
What has always been dear and sublime.

Up on the top a shop does sit,
Waiting for someone or something
To present a job that it must get.

That is the pet's quest and
Hope. For with those skills
In that shop, the toy, close at hand,
Will see life and happiness
In its owner's blue eyes.
Hurry! Hurry! Up the mountain with quickness.

Icy rocks does the young Lupe grasp.
She pulls up with arms now weak
And sits and stares. Gasp!

Far down is the ground where
A long time ago she did
Stand. Now the warnings: Beware!
Come into mind in the atmosphere
Of little true air. She feels dizzy
But keeps going. She has no fear.

In a wintry coat does she continue
Looking up, not down,
Or wanting to gaze at the wondrous view.

Suddenly, a slip. She grabs
The cliff and dangles in the air.
Having only one hand to nab
A rock, she swings with all
Her might. It reaches her and she
Continues. Never again will she fall.

The air is getting thinner and the
Clouds are near. She whispers,
"A few more steps and I'll be free."

There is more snow to come, that is clear.
The stone is slippery but not too much.
There are lights ahead, the village is near.

With one final strain of all she is and
all that she was, the Lupe reaches
For air and finds, instead, clear land.
It is hard and not so slippery.
Warm lights glow in the air.
At last she is here, in a town that is wintry.

She lifts herself and falls
On the soft snow. Her eyes
Glimmer in the light as she slowly crawls.

She stands but her legs are weak.
Warmth, land, a blanket,
All these she must seek.

Not now, she thinks, I am here for
one reason. With what remains of her
Strength, she stands. She must find the shop before
It closes. Then everything would have been
For naught. Fatigue and hunger fight her now.
She says, "I must, I must, by all means win."

After much stumbling and falling,
She arrives at the shop covered in snow.
She goes inside, looks, then begins calling.

"I need something repaired," she yells.
A red Bori comes out,
Not looking well under spells.

He replies, "Give me yer broken toys."
The brown Lupe hands him her Snow Faerie doll
That's missing a head. He takes it and she enjoys
Watching him work. Soon, it is as good as new.
She takes the doll, hugs it, then pays the Bori.
"You're wonderful," she says. Thank you."

Terror Mountain
By Blackwr1

Icy white crystals fall from the sky,
Where the desperate Snow Faerie cries,
Commanding you to fetch her goods.
"Shall I do it?" you ask yourself. You should.

Mika and Carassa the Chias at their igloo,
Choosing to ditch because it is too cool,
Having a massive garage sale is
the only way to leave,
Doing this is how they will achieve.

Broken toys aplenty
Can be fixed at Donny's,
Fixing your toy does have a cost,
But in the end, it won't be lost.

Gusts of wind chill to the bone,
As you stare at other mountains, shaped like cones,
Hanging on the cliff, the Tuskaninny said,
"Help me solve this puzzle or I surely will be dead!"

Entering the shop near the garage sale,
Inside, everything seems pale,
Mysterious bags all in rows.
What's inside? Nobody knows!

Colouring pages for you to print,
Colour them pretty
or make them look like pocket lint,
Various images to choose from,
Cherish them when you're done.

Last but not least,
Go to the Super Happy Icy Fun Snow Shop --
you're in for a treat,
If Terror Mountain isn't cold enough for you,
Why not buy an icy treat or two?
