Faerie Out of Shadows
By Togepi_forever

I saw her in the shadows
Her wings tattered and torn
Hair with colours all washed out
Eyes gone grey and dim.

Under my paws the forest creaked,
I watched as her head turned to me.
Her face was wreathed in sorrow,
Her hand beckoned me near.
I knew not who she could be,
Yet as I drew close, I knew no fear.

I settled on my haunches,
Tail wrapped around her side,
And as she reached to stroke my head,
I asked her why she cried.

She said, "Grey Day has come and gone,
And still I am alone.
I have no friends who love me now,
So soon I shall be gone."

"Wait!" I cried, smiling at her,
"If all you need is love,
Then I shall give you all of mine."
A light shone from above.

Her wings were bright with magic,
Her hair shone like a pearl,
And then she turned and smiled at me -
Her smile could melt the world.

She said, "My dear, you are a jewel,
Please shine with all your might."
She bent and kissed atop my head,
And flew off into the light.

I haven't seen her since that day,
But this I know is true
If you should see one sad and grey,
All they need is you.

The Rainbow Pool
By Hawapani414

Dazzling streaks,
Shimmering and bright.
Muted tones, soft and light.
Reds and greens swirl in a memory of holiday cheer.
Purple, orange, yellow, and black,
Dressings for a night of candy and fun.
Some look like sweet treats, almost too cute to eat.
Others, decked in native gowns,
island colors, greens and browns.
Where'd you go? Oh, there you are!
Invisible, I see... or don't...
Some looking ravishing, all covered in snow.
Striped in strange colors,
Or split into halves.
Even ghosts now look more glad.
But, why are you so sad?
You're not?... Oh, just grey.
Well, that's not so bad.
Have you seen that Aisha from outer space?
Not really an alien, you say?
Sweet pastel little babies,
Sucking on bottles and toys.
Some glowing, electrifying,
fiery, gold.
Still others, menacing,
scary, and cold.
How did you get such beautiful wings?
Faerie Paintbrush, is it? I must check the trades...
They're floating up high,
like clouds in the sky... oh wait, they are clouds.
Look! Here comes the Queen!
Oh... playing dress-up, maybe some other day.
Some like sponges that soak up the suds,
Others, light sketches of talented hands.
Pirates, tomatoes, or even skunks,
All find a home in this ocean of fun.

Magical Brushes,
Such fast little fishes.
Always in sight,
But so elusive,
Hard to catch.
But when you have one!
Oh, what joy!
Such colors, such fun!
You'll go jumping around
and painting the town!
(No pun intended, of course.)
So come down to the Pool,
The water's just fine.
Perhaps you'll find the greatest one,
Or discover a different hue,
But either way, I know this much,
You'll find a color that's perfect for you!

Tale of the Games Master Challenge
By Anjie

One eve when the clock had gone past twelve,
With games upon my mind
I sought the 'Master' unprepared,
For challenges I'd find.
There he sat, aloof and smug,
Smirk plastered on his face.
"None can beat me, even you,
But challenge, just in case!"

With the gauntlet thrown down,
I gathered every wit.
Gave a look of pure disdain,
As smugly he did sit.
"Aristotle, hear my cry!"
I shouted, brave right then.
"I'll beat your score in every match,
We'll see who's smirking then!"

He gave a laugh of pure glee,
His glassed taped in place.
"Game on!" came then his loud reply,
"But I shall take first place!"
We battled 'til the break of dawn,
In games of every sort.
He beat me time and time again,
I'm sorry to report.

Weary, I at last did state,
"I shall concede defeat."
I must have been out of my mind,
To challenge the elite!
I practised every day from then,
Improvement was my vow.
So seek me in the gaming room,
You'll find me there right now.

Faeries of Altador
By Plumgrove

At dawn she is the first to rise
And see the beams of morning's light
Shining forth to greet their fair Siyana.

Bright as the morning star, Siyana
Commands the magic of day to rise
And bestow upon the land its light.

There gleams a soft and golden light
Within the eyes of pure Siyana
Like that of the sun at its noontide rise.

The First to Rise, faerie of light, Siyana.

Swift and fleeting as a dream
More ethereal than scented air
A maiden draped in blue, Psellia.

The gentle and kind enchantress Psellia
Weaves the sweet and peaceful dreams
That softly permeate Altador's air.

A song floats gently through the air
Borne on the gossamer breath of Psellia
Sounding as if it were a dream.

The Dreamer, faerie of air, Psellia.

She travels among the spectres of sleep
And glints of tainted magic betray
Her curses wrought at midnight darkest.

Her hair is shadowy, deathly, darkest,
More deep than nightmares of tormenting sleep
And thoughts of friends that might betray.

She does not hesitate to betray,
For her heart is poisoned and soul is darkest
And cannot find solace in scheming sleep.

The Sleeper, the Betrayer, the faerie Darkest.

Jelly Blobs Of Doom!
By Shyshy071

Right, left, up, down!
Moving the Chomby all around!
Down, left, up, right!
Running through spaces oh-so-tight!

Get... that... little.. blob!
Eat and grow until they sob!
They'll... never... catch... me!
'Cause my score's 103!

Go! Go! Go! Go!
That blob is bigger than me you know!
Get... to... safe... place!
For my life, I've got to race!

Fast! Hurry! Run! YAY!
Guess they'll eat me another day!
LOOK OUT LITTLE CHOMBY!
A BIG RED BLOB!
*BLOOP*
The Chomby's gone.
The game is done.
It is the blobs who have won...
This time!!!
