DISCOVERY OF BRIGHTVALE

A City in the Green
By Voldemorts_evil_spy

I see hills of glistening jade,
Flags rippling in the breeze.
Little huts of simple make,
Tall and ancient trees.

In his alabastar castle.
I see a king of widom great.
Many turrets, spires, and flags,
Rise up tall and straight.

I see a humble people,
Busy in their shops.
Shining windows, ancient scrolls,
The working never stops.

And yet they are all happy,
This is a peaceful place.
A zephyr blows my hair about,
A leaf flies past my face.

I am captured by this beauty,
This meadow so serene.
A little valley filled with life,
A city in the green.

I see hills of glistening jade,
A castle colored pale.
A land of peace and wisdom,
A city named Brightvale.

Knowledgeable Brightvale
By Rikuspuppy

Brightvale stands above them all,
Its people kind and towers tall.
Historians are rich in store,
However, in Meridell, right next door,
The streets are bare, its knowledge poor.

Roberta of the Scrollery
Is truly a friendly sight to see.
When entering she gives a wave,
And a knowing smile, not one bit grave.
Knowing what you've already bought,
She shows you rare scrolls that you've sought.

The Window Glazier,
Whose name is one of
The few things I haven't heard,
Is welcoming and hard-working,
Never, ever bored.
So many of his works I have in my home,
I come there daily to his friendly adobe.
He too has a collection of knowledge that he shares,
Telling me of window care,
Of supplies he needs,
And of old Glaziers far before his time.

A Peophin sits behind a desk, facing the door,
Waiting to welcome you to her store.
Her stocks have what could only be in a Motery,
All motes, and motes, and more motes to see,
The shop mistress as kind as could be.

But the wisest of all lives high in his home,
Sitting on the royal throne.
Brother to Skarl, as smart as could be,
King Hagan always has bits of wisdom for me.
The king sits high in his chair,
Listening to wisdom that you have to share.
Sometimes he'll smile and maybe cheer,
If good wisdom meets his ears.
But be careful, young lad,
For our wise king can get mad.
So study hard,
And read those books,
For Brightvale is far more bright than it looks.

The Wheel of Knowledge
By Doughnut215

Each day come many different pets,
Large and small, some short, some tall,
Some may walk and others fly,
Yet all shall travel the very same path.
This path it winds through varied scenes-
Wooden shop fronts, cobbled stones,
Fields that wave and dance in the breeze.
Past the Armoury, the Scrollery and Potionery-
All shops that sell goods beyond compare,
But still the pets continue onwards
Until at last they reach it. Standing alone,
Resplendent in the beams of morning sun,
The prisms of light gleam and sparkle
With every shade of colour you could imagine.
A fragile work of art, a true masterpiece.
One free spin per day my friend,
Intones the proud creator,
Most famous of all the Brightvale glaziers,
The one who made this from coloured glass.
And so paws and hooves grip the Wheel, push,
Step back to watch the colours swirl.
Eventually it slows, still gently turning...
What will you win today?
Words of wisdom from the King himself,
A handy code for use in gaming?
Perhaps some Neopoints, or better, another spin!
Only a lucky few will win the avatar.
And so, whether elated or disappointed,
Each pair of feet, hooves, paws and claws
Will trudge back down the well-worn path,
Already anticipating their return
Tomorrow.

Brightvale Motery
By Reggieman721

Just past an ancient carven door,
Within a shop that's little more
Than tiny dome on grassy plain,
Exists a magic, shy arcane.

The Brightvale Motery is home
To living water, flame, and foam.
These magic entities are blessed;
A strong enchantment is possessed.

Each mote contains a power strong
Enough to serve in battles, long,
And aid a Battledomer in their quest
To fight and win and be the best.

A flash of color lights the room
The motes do flips; they fly and zoom.
While power is one thing they know,
Amazing beauty they do show!

Yes, Brightvale is the shining land
Which holds this magic in its hand.
Future historians will note:
"Brightvale: Home of Magic Mote!"

A Summons to Brightvale
By Anjie

I feel the call from land afar,
A realm awash with jade.
Brightvale fair, the distant dream,
Whose beauty shall not fade.
Castle like a beacon bright,
Beneath the golden light.
Ivory, those spiral peaks,
And welcoming, the sight.

Should wry and weary travellers roam,
Along a well-trod road.
Tucked between the emerald boughs,
They'll find a warm abode.
A realm that seeks a power great,
Beyond battle and war.
Knowledge is sought beyond such things,
And wisdom, without flaw.

Comfort lies within the sound,
Of wheel in constant spin.
Fragrant scent from fruit store drifts,
To signal treats within.
Magic lingers in the air,
Entangles every nook.
Brightvale is awash with grace,
If one would care to look.

The treasured word of regal King,
Would turn a mind to ease.
Motes like stars shall drift around,
And hang beneath the trees.
Royal realm, it calls to thee,
I long for world so wise.
The sun shines bright on castle tall,
And endless are the skies.

Should I wander far beyond,
Beyond where wheel doth turn.
The scent of wisdom sings my name,
And summons me, return!
Brightvale doth seem a world away,
Neopia, we roam.
Yet it's the wisdom of the realm,
That summons us back home.
