BLUMAROO DAY SPECIAL

Count Von Roo Awakes
By Doughnut215

Amidst the shining periwinkle sea
There lies a little emerald isle
And here the Blumaroos roam free
On each face, a little smile.

The soft sand sparkles in the sun
The grass is a glorious green
Today's celebrations have just begun
Yet one thing mars this scene.

Crumbling castle on a cliff
Far away on the Northern shore
Tendrils of darkness whisper, what if?
What if he slept no more...

Creeping ivy swirls, crawls around
Climbs the walls covered in mould
From within comes a dreadful sound
Something stirs, menace of strength untold.

Clad in cape of darkest hue
Winged creature of small black eyes-
Here approaches Count Von Roo
Searching for victims to terrorise.

And on that little emerald isle
Filled by Blumaroos all with a smile
In the castle he has awoken
Waiting to share his woeful token.

The Roll of the Dice
By Kitokat_mh

There is a crafty Blumaroo
Who prizes neither brain nor brawn,
It's a game of chance he masters such
That you're his unwilling pawn.

For a small fee you can take part,
And roll with feeble skill,
You watch the dice with cunning eye
Continuing against your will.

The game will draw you in so that
You find you cannot stop.
Losing all is commonplace
Who could ever reach the top?

The jackpot is a vast amount
That's growing all the while.
It seems so far out of reach
The game barely seems worthwhile.

Advancing or losing your pot
You flit from die to die,
You just cannot reach the silver one
But find that you must try.

But now you have a streak of luck,
And win prize after prize.
King Roo cackling all the while,
Awaiting your demise.

But this time you do not lose,
You simply cannot fail.
The jackpot is soon in your grasp
You amazingly prevail!

This game is long and tedious,
And often not too nice,
And winning against all odds depends
On the roll of the dice!

Blumaroo Court Jester
By Scarvogue

Inside the castle wall he waits,
atop his throne of stone
Head upon his hand - he holds -
awaiting jester's comical tone

A silence lingers in the hall,
all eyes fixed on the vibrant view
Outfit made of purple and yellow,
in walks the jester Blumaroo

On his knees before the king,
he pauses just a moment there
All await the speech to come,
fixed on him, the king's icy glare

The jester's chin quivers in fear,
he tries to hide it, just a bit
Confidence is the key,
or else the king shall throw a fit

Up he rises off his knees,
the Blumaroo begins his act
One by one he juggles fruit,
three, then five - keeping them in tact

"What will you do," he begins,
his voice a raspy whisper
The king eyes him carefully,
the audience begins to stir

"If fierce Peophins has eaten,"
the Blumaroo continues on
Confidence grows in his voice,
despite Skarl's mighty yawn
"Too much tin of olives?"
The jester pauses at the end
Eyes upon the Meridell king,
you won't believe what happened then

Up he rises, off his throne,
his head quickly thrown back
Hands rise in the air,
to make way for a bellowing laugh

The Epic of Rohane
By Anjie

From tiny village does he start,
A mission brave held in his heart.
For none know what shall lay ahead,
With cautious care must Rohane tread.
For in a realm that calls for aid,
There seems no time to be afraid.

His father's sword held firm in paw,
He wanders emerald plains in awe.
Each valiant battle he doth win,
Ignites the warrior within.
The Blumaroo sets off alone,
His destiny so yet unknown.

And yet the loyal three he'll meet,
Shall make this quest band seem complete.
They journey on from land to land,
On shattered ice and desert sand.
It's Rohane who doth take the lead,
A Blumaroo so brave, indeed.

With courage each foe does he smite,
A champion for all that's right.
And while it's far that he shall roam,
There is no other path back home.
And thus with courage deep within,
The epic quest shall soon begin.

Blumaroo Party
By Fleaf

Leaping through the meadows green,
Shadows dancing in forest unseen,
Dashing paws to a jolly king,
The Blumaroos do play.

A streak of colour cross thy eye,
The reflection in the marble, sigh,
Red carpet to this throne - oh my!
The Blumaroos do play.
Good king come and take this key,
Here's a sight for us to see,
Everyone's here for you and me-
The Blumaroos do play.

Celebration on island small,
With citizens so lively,
So come one and come all-
To this Blumaroo party!
