FLOTSAM DAY SPECIAL

Flotsam Treasure Hunt
By Lemonlovingcutie

Now swimming through the oceans go,
The endless waters cease to flow.
A scepter into the specter's eye,
With shell topped houses which pass by.

A tail flicks as the waves do grow,
A pleasant face to learn and know,
What treasures lie beneath the wash?
The underwater life lived posh.

The ocean critters frolic so,
Though under coral he does go.
With scales held close, a smile warm,
The Koi underneath seem to swarm.

The ocean holds his ample love,
A breath of air he needs above,
With a map now down he does go.
A treasure search has come to grow.

What gold and riches will he find?
Of all values, he does not mind,
A hidden box of treasure keep,
A gleam from blow he does seek.

With a tumble down he does swim,
A special search; out on a whim.
A chest below flickers the light,
A joyous chest for any sight.

With a quick nudge the chest does come,
With the key the lock is undone.
Joy evades the calm and mellow,
What treasure awaits this fellow?

Flotsam Day
By Panril

Clear river streaming
Flotsams writhe in shadowed pools
Singing summer songs.

Tails flick in tandem
Gestures made with flowing ease
Smooth and fluid ghosts.

Grey ferns and brown kelp
Sway slowly underwater
Greeting butterfish.

Pale reflections shift
As Flotsams trade soft secrets
Beneath rolling waves.

Warm day in Swimming
Translucent creatures frolic
Slippery shapes drift.

Flotsams waltz freely
Not quite keeping three-four time
They dance whilst they wait.

Cool afternoon breeze
An endless, timeless ritual
Smoothes light into dusk.

Dusk greets evening
Evening welcomes the dawn
Dawn brings Flotsam Day.

Suspicious Flotsam
By Skgurlzguild

You may not think you know me,
But I know you plenty well.
And simply to be even,
I'll explain what's to tell.

I am a pleasant Flotsam
With fins as bright as corn.
And if you get me angry,
I'll poke you with my horn.

My teeth, you see, do not exist
Like all Flotsams lack in town.
When we're angry, you will find
Us wolf our enemy down.

I see your faint expression,
Suspicion lined within.
Just kidding, I say, and all is well -
Until dark settles in...

Flotsam Cove
By Anjie

A million miles from anywhere,
A haven rests, sublime and rare.
A sanctuary, tucked away,
Soft golden sands and oceans spray.
Warm and soft are breezes blown,
A realm for Flotsams, all their own.

A secret cove on distant shore,
An ocean playground to explore.
Bright coral stands as pillars here,
Sea lightened by the sunlit sphere.
Here ocean's creatures live and thrive,
And colored Flotsams dip and dive.

The coastline scattered with small caves,
A surfing paradise are waves.
A rainbow soft doth seem to form,
As varied Flotsams shall perform.
A vivid flash of blue and green,
And starry patterns, glossed with sheen.

With Cobalt gleam doth water glow,
As baby Flotsams play below.
Here vicious beasts don't seem a threat,
For none have found this secret yet.
This hide-away a treasure trove,
For all is safe in Flotsam Cove.

A Flotsam Called Sea
By Voldemorts_evil_spy

Upon a little hill we sat,
And ate our cakes with tea.
To our left there was a forest,
And to our right expansive sea.

The day was nice and sunny,
The breeze was cool and fair.
I looked out upon the ocean,
And saw a ship was there.

It was drawing ever closer,
And as it neared I saw,
Their flag was black with bones.
Pirates here to break the law!

'Ere we could flee they took us,
And demanded all our gold.
I knew we would be rescued,
And I stood up to be bold.

"You'll pay for this you pirates!
The Sea will hear our case.
It will avenge us rightly,
And the ocean floor you'll face!"

The pirates laughed and sailed away,
They thought me quite the clown.
But 'ere they were away from view,
We saw the ship go down.

A Flotsam waved his fin at us,
And quickly swam away.
With his horn he'd sunk the ship,
And avenged us all that day.

We knew not who the Flotsam was,
So they all called upon me.
And from the threat I'd spoken,
I called him, simply, Sea.
