Taelia: An Ode to Thee
By Neko_saviour

A glance from beneath her silvery lashes,
may rob you of your senses.
But a smile from those ice blue lips,
will have you leaping fences.

Pale white skin flecked with snow,
defines her prominent features.
Her generous nature brings her help,
from many obliging creatures.

Shunned by her fellow faeries and friends,
she lives her life in peace.
Accepting help from any stranger,
though other pets may tease.

Though cherished by none and cared for by none,
she freely gives her life.
Her mind and heart both pure and fresh,
as a white turtle dove.

Her wit and grace serves her well,
and she is very pretty.
Following her proud nature,
she will never accept our pity.

Remember this for though she is kind,
never test her patience.
For alongside her heart,
a shard of ice lies adjacent.

Krawk of the Maraquan Depths
By Anjie

Like crawling winter, waves wash in,
A gift from endless sea.
Haunting is the ocean's song,
An endless, eerie plea.
Malachite, forbidden depths,
A sanctuary, bleak.
For reptile of the flowing fins,
The haven he doth seek.

The tidal flow shall guide his way,
So sinuous, he glides.
Meandering the shadowed deep,
Down here, the Krawk resides.
Rapid flicker, tail shifts,
So idly shall he swim.
Golden orbs through murky dark,
They light the depths, so grim.

Seaweed parts to coiling form,
As slowly doth he wind.
Translucent are the trailing fins,
That softly, trail behind.
Emerald glow, he'll softly slide,
Those motions in such sync.
Krawk with fins that trail, soft,
Within the depths, doth slink.

Begone, Lord Kass!
By Natasha_nguyen

In Meridell, where at midnight
The velvet sky's filled with moonbeams' flow
The stars shine, but are quenched of light
By the shadow that blocks their glow.

Day breaks with shattering cry
Transforming night into daytime fair
But if one looks to the bright blue sky
Lo! A black stain still remains there.

Left to block the sun's gold shine
Dark cloud of billowing fright
Left there, for years of time
'Tis a sobering, dreadful sight.

There he sits, night's black king
Kass reigns upon dark throne old
Commanding the darkness he's known to bring
Ghastly spectacle to behold.

At night comes sudden screams
When dark fire erupts from Darigan keep
It floats to us and tears our dreams
'Til we sit up, deprived of sleep.

Please, oh Meridell, do go on
Defeat this shadow that stretches far
Kass's scum, go, begone!
Please, oh Meridell, win the war!

Remembering Tawnia, the Island Uni
By Rikumager

A treasure hunter all her life
Tawnia was brave
Especially when a Techo
Went to send her to the grave

It started at a beach
Where she was gathering her treasures
So far, she was not doing well;
Just some rocks and a few feathers

Soon, however, she came upon
A mask in some watery sand
With her hooves, she kicked it out
Onto the surface land

Curious as she was
She knew it would make a good sum
You see, she's short on money
And this was the only way they'd come

Eventually, a Techo came
And offered a large pay
That Techo, though, was very strange
But she accepted, either way

However, as she journeyed home,
The winds began to blow
Scared, Tawnia went to the air
"Am I too late? Oh, no!"

Suddenly, a masked Techo came
And grabbed her by the throat
She realized this was the buyer
Of the mask she found afloat

Quickly, she dashed away
Towards the giant wall of the wind
As they crashed into gust
Their vision was then thinned

When Tawnia woke up
She saw Jhuidah at her side
She said, "You just saved Mystery Island!"
And with that, she almost cried

Outside, the neighbors waited
To compliment her ways
Her treasure hunting just paid off;
She knew it would some day

Greed and Hunger Lead to Blunder!
By Splenetic

A famished scientist sits in his lab
Making calculations for his latest plan,
It seems as though his brain's in his belly
For his latest project's a giant jelly!

"Three spoons of this, a pinch of that
Will make the jelly tall and fat!"
A blinding flash, a crack, a boom,
The scientist will be in trouble soon...

Instead of gigantic, sweet and mellow,
He's created small blobs of EVIL jello!
"Oh no!" he thinks, his face aghast,
"What shall I do? I must act fast!"

He grabs a beaker of pure Skullorium
And tips a few drops of it upon 'em,
A puff of smoke floats into the air
They are gone - or so it appears.

"Blast! They're back, and this time there's more!"
At his fingertips he begins to gnaw,
"Save me from these beings of evil!" he shouts.
Well, why are you still reading? Go out and help!
