CYBUNNY DAY SPECIAL

An Ode to the Robot Cybunny
By Squire_genevieve

Down upon the old, paved road
Her metal step rings true,
By blanket dark all that shows
Is beneath the light of Moon.

Metallic paws, so daintily
She hops along that night
No fur at all, not cuddly
She gives most pets a fright.

She visited the Lab Ray
Each day for many a year,
Changes were a-plenty,
So soon she lost her fear.

Then came the day all did change,
When circuits replaced skin,
A smile from the Cybunny,
For her it was a win.

Now different from others,
Unique in her own way,
Pets around know she's brave
Right up until this day.

Now in the street she's famous,
Most daring of the lot,
The Cybunny who lost her fear,
That Cybunny Robot.

Hopping Troubles
By Party_hobbit

With the whisper of wind on the brightest of days
The Cybunnies leapt on the hill.
Like colourful darts of the sun's shining rays,
Laughing as sweet as birds' trill.

But yet, in the shadows of tall spreading trees
Alone, ears limping, sat one.
Watching, forlorn, at mates hopping with ease,
Shielding himself from the sun.

Before him he propped up his oversized feet,
Looking with sorrowful eyes,
Since last spring, uneager to repeat
The routine other bunnies despised.

Try as he might, this Bun could not
Lift with such ease to the air.
Even just walking, since he was a tot
He'd trip on a log or your hair.

Suddenly, our bunny started in shock,
A young, bright-eyed girl met his eyes.
"Come on, old fellow, come for a hop,"
And dumbfounded he rose in surprise.

Nervously stumbling into the light
As all looked to see if he'd fall,
Blushing and stuttering, so full of fright,
He wished he weren't quite so tall.

But leaning towards him, his friend's graceful figure,
As she whispered so quiet in his ear,
"You can jump higher! Your feet are much bigger!"
And as he thought, away vanished his fear.

Now, on the slopes of Cybunny hill,
When springtime graces the land,
There leaps a Cybunny, so high until
He looks small as the palm of your hand.

The Cybunny Carnival
By Peterpuffin1

Behold the brilliant reds and blues
That speckle bright displays
That wonderful aroma wafting
From refreshment trays
And hear the gasps in wonderment
At livid, light arrays
A gallant spring!
And here's the thing--
The Carnival's today!

No sooner has it opened
Than the merriment begins
Just gaze upon the children--
All the children's laughs and grins!
And sit without a worry
As you're ushered gently in!
Great fun and such!
You shan't pay much!
The Carnival's a win!

But then, of course, we mustn't leave
The reason we are here
So let's all gather round, my friends,
And raise a great big cheer--
The purpose of this lovely day
That brings our loved ones near--
Hip, hip, hooray!
For Cybunny Day!
Our favorite day of the year!

Sasha's Dance: Climbing Rhyme
By Plumgrove

Her graceful joy in dance's
Motion, her trance's twilight
Chances to envelope all
In its dim fall upon the eyes
Of those in thrall to chimes
Of tambourine, to times which mist
In clinking rhymes, to them the world
Has melded, swirled in her deep azure
Hair unfurled, in the sweet elation
Of her imagination, hope and mirth
And inspiration, from her a gift
Their spirits lift, and Sasha's
Dance is swift and lithe and light
Her eyes as gently bright as stars
In Altador's night, her step in tune
Illuminated by the moon, her dress amethyst
And maroon, a Cybunny
The Dancer, she who brings happiness
And glee, her eyes aglow
And warm in the flow of her dance
Now slow and soft, the night is done
And she's the only one to twirl
Before the rising sun, the Dancer
For the celebrations have just begun.

Cybunny Carnival
By Lorien127

When summer's heat is round the bend
And spring's cool rains are ending,
When gardens burst and snowcaps melt
And winter's wounds are mending,

The shy Cybunnies all emerge
From hollow, brush, and shire,
Leaping forth with glee and cheer
From bramble, shrub and briar.

With happy hearts they celebrate
The fruitful, fallow earth,
The field's green and meadow's gold,
The joyful spirit of rebirth.

Neopians from far and wide
Will frolic and be merry,
Partaking of earth's bounty
With each tulip, bud, and berry.

They'll laugh together in the sun
And play the whole day through
Delighted their Cybunny friends have brought
Good cheer and smiles anew.

And when the day is over
And the fun has all been had
Sleepy pets will wander home
To cherish memories glad.

In dreams tonight they'll frolic still
And sing the Cybunny's song,
Wishing the Cybunny Carnival
Could last the whole year long.
