Broken Blue Lines
By Dulcatis

A stroke of the pen, a brush of the tail,
Showing delicate lines as she wanders.
Subtle marks and sharp lines
Trace her movements,
Light blue tracings of an artist's musings.

Exploring the mountains, covered in ice,
Searching for hours for the Snowager's lair.
Blue lines melding with ice and snow,
Frosty wind dancing
Through the pale sketch marks.

Nursing her wounds from the frigid worm,
She limps away, broken lines and strokes.
Falling into my arms with exhaustion,
I try to mend her, redraw her lines.

I take her into a world of clouds.
A water faerie whispers words of healing,
Retracing, redrawing, all light blue lines.
Re-sketching her, my young Sketch Neopet.

Her streaks, strokes, and stripes
Once again glow blue,
Always waiting for our next adventure.

The Wanderer
By Dragon_rpgr

He travels in ease through muck and mire,
through forests great and dire.
Nev'r ending,
Always tending,
To his life, a Wanderer.

This Lupe, he is not ordinary,
Silver-coated, tired and weary,
Yet he's moving ever on,
Waking at the crack of dawn,
Sunlight shining, on this Wanderer.

His dream, to find a land unknown,
Unexplored, all alone,
Brace of gold, ring of silver,
Trinkets for the Wanderer.

His eyes, they are beyond his age,
Happy, joyful, anger, rage,
Read plainly like an open book,
He sees the world with a careless look,
The eyes of this Wanderer.

And as he walks, for'ver on,
Today, tomorrow, he'll be gone,
Nev'r to return,
For his heart would burn,
Should he ever pause in his quest, a Wanderer.

Faerie Chorus Lullaby
By Sytra

Little wings dance leisurely,
They smile bright and cheerfully.
Faeries gently serenade,
Soothing sounds that never fade.

Echoing elegantly through the skies,
More faeries join the choir's size.
Their voices carry life's sweet joys,
They sing together, keeping poise.

Crowds gather to enjoy their tune,
But darkness covers land all too soon.
The clouds above begin to weep,
The world turns happily asleep.

The faeries gently coo sweet harmony,
And then their voices slowly die.
They then escape into the skies,
And leave the clouds to softly cry.

Honoring The Neopian Year
By Rhiannonleigh1979

Sleeping, Neopia slumbers in,
a newborn year now to begin.
Dreaming sweetly through the cold,
when night lays heavy on the world.
The windows etched with lacy frost,
as winter's icy days are crossed.

Awakening, we rise up from
our winter sleep, to find the sun.
Each day warmer, and each night
is less behest to winter's bite.
This is the time of loving friends,
and candy hearts, as darkness ends

Running, now with swifter feet.
Much warmer days are ours to greet!
The flowers raise their sleepy heads,
and stand up in their cozy beds.
With color singing everywhere,
the Pteri calls ring through the air

Eating, we all feast as one
upon the grass, under the sun.
With pranks and fun and playful days,
we celebrate the many ways
in which we love this carefree place,
from Altador to outer space!

Hunting, we shall seize the day
with multitudes of games to play.
Kacheekers, Geos, Frumball too,
we all try to be Better Than You.
We Test our Strength and hope to get
a trophy for our Neopet.

Relaxing, on a sunny beach,
the summer fun within our reach.
With thoughts for Petpets, now's the day
to let them know in every way
how much we love them, one and all.
Three cheers for Petpets, sound the call!

Swimming, Neopets have fun
and splash under the golden sun.
The beach is white with sugar sand,
as happy laughs roll through the land.
Rainbow sunsets stream on high,
as summer starlight fills the sky

Hiding, in the meadows green.
Neopets try to stay unseen!
A playful game of hide-and-seek,
in berried thickets, plump and sleek,
and filled with juicy sweet delights
to eat with happy berry-bites!

Gathering, our friends are here.
The Faerie Festival is near!
To Faerieland we go this day,
to celebrate the Faerie way.
Quests and foods and flying games,
with celebrations in their names.

Collecting, as the leaves turn gold.
So many stories to be told.
We harvest now to be prepared,
for winter's teeth will soon be bared.
Our pumpkins shine with toothy grins,
as trick-or-treating time begins!

Storing, tucking things away.
The nights are longer; every day
the sunlight stays a little less.
We're thankful for each day we're blessed
with caring friends; the season starts
with love inside Neopian hearts.

Celebrating, all together!
Sleighing in the snowy weather.
Gifts for eager pets each day
The Advent Calender gives away.
With Christmas done, we find that we
are nodding off, we soon will be...

Sleeping.

Evil Yet Defied
By The_american_idiot93

Sheltered behind forests thick,
A creature lurks inside.
Entwined in briar, dark and dank,
Lies evils yet defied.

Forestry encloses him,
Humid and bizarre,
Misshapen beyond all belief
Amid in lands afar.

Sunlight is a rarity,
Though some does tend to seep
Between each branch and bramble nest,
Within the leafy heap.

Quickly traipsing through each trail,
Inaudibly, he moves,
Both fearsome claws and quavering snarl,
He hides; but doesn't lose.

Scarce are life-forms in this place
Of solitude and pain.
Kingdom most have yet to find,
Where single sovereign reigns.

Amber eyes glow in the night
Intense beyond repair,
Pure drive and dedication burn
Along with great despair.

Woodland prowler, title held,
His mission? Incite fear.
Few will dare to cross his path
For none are welcome here.
