Fire Gallion in Flight
By Anjie

A comet cast in shadowed night,
A fireball in frenzied flight.
Over meadows, skims the sky,
A bright inferno, burning high.
A tiny Gallion rides the breeze,
Twisting through the sleeping trees.

Leathery, the small webbed wings,
Such frenzied flapping, tiny things.
Onyx form, alight with gold,
From wings do tiny flames unfold.
Enticing shades of burning red,
Displayed as wings now span and spread.

Like stars that fall from far and high,
He swoops past clouds in shadowed sky.
With pride those twisted horns do sit,
Upon his noble crown they fit.
Exhausted, tiny Petpet drops,
A final hover, then flight stops.

Idle amble through the grass,
To sit and watch the evening pass.
The tiny dragon curls his form,
To find comfort in pastures, warm.
There he sleeps, his form alight,
Like fire breaking onyx night.

Lonely Little Grundo
By Frozen_teardrops12

Atop the tallest mountain stands,
A wooden roof shelters toiled hands,
Tucked away and close to the trees,
A grumpy Bori with little sleep,

"Give me one o' yer broken toys,"
He says to Neopian girls and boys,
"And for a Neopoint or two,
I'll fix your silly toy for you"

"That's not what I want," you shrug and say,
Though you hand him a toy anyway,
"Would you like to talk?" you kindly ask,
But the Bori's preoccupied with his task.

"Bah!" he says obnoxiously,
"There's nothing wrong with this I see,
Don't bother me with worthless things,
Next time a toy to fix you'll bring!"

In the deepest part, under the sea,
Is Maraqua, and its history,
And here is the nicest restaurent, Kelp,
To afford their prices you'll need some help!

"Only the finest dine down here,
The water is nice, clean and clear,
Surely it's the place to meet new friends!"
You walk towards the restaurant round the bend.

As you step inside and say your name,
The answer you'll get, it's always the same,
"Away, away! You crazy pet!
You need reservations for the food you'd get!

You walk away, your head bowed down,
No one seems to want you around,
But then you come to Faerieland,
Sit on a cloud, empty heart, empty hands,

And sitting alone right next to you
Is a little Grundo plushie blue,
He's frowning as he stares straight down,
He's been left carelessly on the ground.

"Oh poor little Grundo, will you listen to me?
I've been searching all day, no friend did I see,
Would you mind if I played with you?"
A smile appeared on the Grundo blue.

King Hagan and His Books
By Xdragon_riderx934

I have been to see him,
And so I tell you now,
How King Hagan has found the way
To read every book around.

He started with his library,
So large it may have seemed,
Until he saw the book shop,
With more books than he could dream.

Piled high he read them all,
Some thin, some thick, some tall,
Every book within the store,
Each one, he read them all.

He sent his servants far away,
To Maraqua and more,
From Meridell to Faerieland,
To where others feared to go.

In dusty dungeons,
In secret chambers,
In Coltzan's grave,
In places of danger.

Ancient scrolls and secret paths,
Magic books, and evil pasts,
Every book known and seen,
No other had knowledge as supreme.

I have been to see him,
And now you know the tale
Of how King Hagan read every book,
And knows each story you should tell.

Gypsy Camp
By Plumgrove

Into evening

Night is falling
Friends are calling

Aishas singing
Bells are ringing
Woeful tale's storytelling
Shadows clinging

Bells are knelling
Denizens yelling
Red and yellow flames are glowing
Tune compelling

Winds are blowing
Gypsies going
Tales of the death-defying
Dance is slowing

Quiet spying
Spirits crying
Faeries of the dawn are flying
Night is dying

Woods are storming
Sky is warming

Into morning

Shaded Lore
By Purpep

Through cities new and deserts old,
The Aisha walks at night,
Living out the tales told
By those of lesser might.

He wanders fast upon the wing
Like a faerie bright.
It's of he whom others sing
In his speedy flight.

Over his shoulder's slung a sword,
A terrifying sight.
"I am Lore!" the Aisha roared,
Emanating light.

The fearsome power held by him
Is used for naught but right,
Seeking situations grim,
Saving all from plight.

But alienation is the price
Of his heroic height.
Of his quick-paced, courageous deeds,
None but I will write.
