Search for new places - hey, look, there's one!
Find that telltale shape, now back on the run.

Speed off to the hall - oh wait, not yet!
You have all you need, but the rules aren't met.
Go to the archives, have a quick chat
Back to the tower, get there just like that.

Constellation searching, gee, such fun
Find one that fits, your job is almost done
Submit it - not old - well, that we knew
A few more small visits, then we'll be through.

Some jewels have lit up, what a surprise
Drop by the club, you might get a nice prize
Chat again, a tale makes its debut
You're done! Oh, wait. Now more boredom is due.

Of purple towers, high,
Of clouds and quests and magic wands,
Of flying through the sky.

To dream, to dream of Meridell,
Of palaces and knights,
Of kings and queens and royal courts,
Of gallant, noble fights.

Of sailors, swords, and gold,
Of cannon fire and wooden legs,
Of journeys oft retold.

To dream, to dream of Altador,
Of Yooyus, games, and fun,
Of guardians and fellowship,
Of brightly shining sun.

To dream, to dream of Kreludor,
Of moonbeams shining far,
Of distant shores of silver dust,
Of journeys past the stars.

Each night the gentle waves of sleep
Call softly unto you,
To sail away your worried thoughts,
And make your dreams come true.

Meepit Madness

Big eyes staring, no surprise
What a thing to do.
Hardly blinking, ever seeing
Meepit looks at you.

Cotton tail and big buck teeth
That look as sharp as nail.
Glinting brightly, in the sun
Are creepy without fail.

Drinking juice, the whole day through
Until the day is done.
And when at last, the game is over
You're thinking, "That was fun."

But Meepit watches, once again
Observes your every move.
Be careful, when you walk back home.
An army's after you.

You don't worry, you aren't afraid
Why there is only one.
But Meepits herd in packs, you see
And think stalking is quite fun!

The Night Hunt

A Kougra crouches in the grass
Spying out his prey
He hides in shadows black as night
As silent as a grave

His eyes glow green, tail flicking sideways
Moving inch by inch
Lazy flies flit 'round his head
He doesn't even flinch

The Kougra halts when into view
His precious prey appears
His body wiggles, then he leaps
With a screech that can split your ears

He lands softly with a grin
That shows he's satisfied
And with a great big yawn
The proud hunter closes his eyes

The grass was but a mattress and
The shadows but a sheet
And snuggled with his pillow prey
The Kougra falls asleep

And live through its Befouling Haze
My Jaws shall quickly remedy
