Fyora the Faerie Queen
By Spanielcollie
In a cloud floating far o'er oceans and trees
Rules the greatest who has ever been,
Fyora the legendary Faerie Queen,
As fierce and kind as the many seas.
No mortal eyes may perceive her wealth,
Her tiara bejeweled lies upon her head,
Beautiful words may have been said,
But none can rival the Queen herself.
Keeper of a rich tower hidden
Where unimaginable treasures lie,
And the poor can only watch and sigh
And do as they are bidden.
From autumn winds to blooms of spring
She soars into the wide blue sky,
Her feathers flutter as she does fly
On subtle amethyst and coral wings.
Her Majesty of magic streams
Of dark orbs and deadly blades,
Sorceress of quiet brooks and glades,
Keeper of enchanted dreams.

Survival against Darkness
By Opthal
The churning waves, the sea as it froths
Tosses the ship to and fro
An angry-black sky smothers the heavens
Roaring its fury to those below
Flashes of light illumine the sky
Panic is thick on the deck
Shouts go unheard, the passengers aboard
Await a disaster, a wreck
But lo, behold! Land ashore!
The crew sees a glimmer of hope
They battle the water's darkening depths
And tighten the masses of rope
Making their way onto dry land
Neopets alike celebrate
Dropping on knees, kissing the sand
They thank good Fortune and Fate
But up above in masses of black
Sits the queen on her throne
The Darkest Faerie curses their joy
And ponders their luck, alone
Their chances of survival had been so slim
She thinks as she makes her ascent
She'd been so sure their fate would be grim
But alas, she was thwarted again
So whenever you travel
'Cross the darkest of waters
Be ready, alert, and aware
For skills and speed, preparations complete
Will determine the way your trip fares

Green Smoke at Midnight
By Chinawebs
In the black of forgotten hollow
Where danger lurks in every shadow
Spyders weave their webs of china
That glitter like diamond, or mica -
There is beauty there, in forest so dark -
Pay no heed to the Werelupe's shrill bark.
Gaze instead at the glimmering stars -
The emerald miasma that drifts from afar.
You follow the smoke to a tower ramshackle -
From high above, there comes a deep cackle.
Lost in the night air, intoxicated, charmed,
The witch purrs, in sweet tone,
That you will not be harmed.
You climb the staircase, your fingers aquiver -
Icy cold consumes you; you can't help but shiver.
Behind the door lies a dusty room,
Black with fume;
You squint in attempt
To discern shapes in the gloom.
Sure enough, the witch lurks behind;
Her face is illuminated by purest moonshine.
You gasp, you stumble, a scream parts your lips,
For there, at the cauldron, is Edna the witch!

The Court Dancer's Spell
By Songful
How true the step and fair the flight
Of every move she makes;
In subtle twist and regal curve
And nimble spin she takes!
Without a sound the court she draws
And whisks about the hall;
A charmer free with every pace
That keeps the room in thrall.
And though on noiseless feet she moves
The music blooms without;
Accentuating stride and leap
And flowing all about.
And all her moves the gazers watch
Ensnared in sight and sound;
For poisoned flare about her leaps
And treacheries surround.

The Usul Knight
By Darks_fury
I heard a tale from a friend
About the town of Havsend,
A small village that lies in the north.
It tells of a knight,
Such a glorious knight,
That his weight in gold he is worth.
A guard stands tall,
Upon the wall,
And stares into the dark.
His eyes are dropping,
All alertness stopping,
When he hears the morning lark.
He jerks upright again,
"Stay vigilant, men!"
He cries to freshen his mind.
But the damage is done,
And up comes the sun,
To reveal an attack from behind.
"To arms! Awaken!
The farms have been taken!"
The guards rally and gallop around.
But wars have been few,
The knights have been too,
And so there's not a knight to be found.
"We're ruined!" they cry,
They sob, "Why, oh why?
Why did the enemy have to come here??"
But as they grow glum,
They begin to cheer some,
For a well known knight lives near.
His armor is golden,
A sight to beholden,
And his fur is the color of sun.
"With an Usul to fight,
Our brave Usul knight,
The battle is sure to be won!!"
And the knight brought them victory.
It is written in history,
That the Usul knight fought to the end.
So should you need saving,
There's a knight always braving:
The golden knight of Havsend.
