AISHA DAY SPECIAL

The Aisha Thieves
By Aegothelidae

A score of bandits roam the streets,
Of Neopia at night.
Masked in black and dressed in shadows,
They are a four-eared blight.

No trinket escapes their narrowed eyes,
No charm can be secured.
No Neohome is safe enough,
No matter how they are insured.

They go by twos on every job --
(A discourteous career.)
And nothing's left when morning comes
Wherever they appear.

Creeping from the gloomy sewers,
With a deceitful sort of intent,
They break into shops and homes
And borrow without consent.

When midnight strikes they slink about,
Purrow, Meesha, and their henchmen.
And the morning sun reveals the deed --
The Aisha thieves have struck again!

A Sonnet On Feline Thieves
By Silver_spiderlilies

I heard a rumour yesterday -
'Twas spread on Psellia's breath
They leave victims agape, bereft
And slink on shadow's way
In Night's smoth'ring veil they play
While beautifying theft
And saunter on tail of Death
Feline enigmas, if you may

They wander together in mute suspense
The quiet a heavy wonder
Paws soft even 'mong black leaves
And slip away with plunder
Silence and style their only defense -
The necromantic Aisha Thieves

Amira's Sunrise
By Plumgrove

Sahkmet's ruler deep in night,
Head held high on palace roof,
Aisha, brown-furred royal one.
Key to dawn in paws of light,
Eastwardly she points her gaze,
Silent dreamer's watch begun.
Princess draped in gauzy white,
Escaping as the lights diffuse,
Amira spies on daybreak's run

Rises up to dim sky's height,
Ever waits to greet the sun.

Sweetly watches desert night,
Heralds dawn from palace roof,
Ancient city's brave loved one.
Kumquat eyes like firelight,
Ethereally does she gaze,
Sahkmet low has just begun.
Perfumed rays of purest white,
Each day when the stars diffuse,
Aisha to the dawn will run.

Rises up to dim sky's height,
Ever waits to greet the sun.

An Aishan Lullaby
By Peanut02395

A boat with full sails made of deep midnight sky,
Sails slowly through seas of bright stars,
It sojourns inside the Isle of Dreams,
And passes the Cove of Nightmares.

If you are quiet, on a night like tonight,
When sleep hovers low like new snow,
You may hear the bells that hang on its sails,
Ringing to scare away woe.

On the tallest mast, an Aisha awaits,
Her wings are like gozzamer cloths,
Her head is adorned with a crown of the stars,
And her clothing is fluttering moths.

Her eyes hold many mysteries, kindly and wise,
Her face shines brighter than the moon,
She makes little ones sleep, sweet and deep,
When she hears a small lullaby croon.

Aisha-child, darling, wait by the Isle,
Stay there for me all night long,
Until daylight's break, I want you to wait,
Accompanied by this sweet song.

Ode to Lady Osiri
By Anjie

Arid land, awash with gold,
Above doth sunlight loom.
Lady Aisha tends her stall,
So fair, this desert bloom.

She who lights the desert realm,
A pure vision to all.
Wonders rare, not seen before,
Within her tiny stall.

Gently does she tend each piece,
And guards them with such care.
Molten light may beat above,
But lights her gleaming hair.

Artefacts so very strange,
She lines on each high shelf.
Sold to those who show the coins,
Her smile kept to herself.

Pottery of ancient times,
Awash in black and gold.
Mystical, her goods do seem,
Mysterious, and old.

Those who brave the humid trek,
So fondly do they speak.
Of Aisha fair who keeps her stall,
It's her the tourists seek.

Finely coiffed, cascading hair,
And falls within clips grasp.
Silk doth swathe her slender form,
Held firm by silver clasp.

Earthenware, her passion seems,
From jug to tallest vile.
Each selected just by her,
With utmost taste and style.

Every piece shall fill her stall,
It's stacked in every room.
Lady, sing an Ode to thee,
The stunning Desert bloom.
