OGRIN DAY SPECIAL

Ogrin Day Spirit
By Kagome686

It's Ogrin Day, show some spirit!
T-shirts, caps, or hoods.
If they had some Ogrin clothes,
To wear them, I surely would!
Show some spirit!
Appreciate the day!
Only once a year, it's celebrated.

It's Ogrin Day, show some spirit!
Put Ogrin armour on.
Slingshots, shields, or swords,
I'd still be very fond!
Show some spirit!
Appreciate the day!
Only once a year, it's celebrated.

It's Ogrin Day, show some spirit!
Show off your Ogrin toys.
Bring them everywhere you go,
And show them to girls and boys.
Show some spirit!
Appreciate the day!
Only once a year, it's celebrated.

Joyous Ogrin Gnome
By Anjie

Hidden near the swaying boughs,
Within the garden's heart.
Past the pond and near the fence,
Behind where fern leaves part.
Amidst the jade of falling leaves,
This fellow finds his home.
Keeper of the garden, green,
The Joyous Ogrin Gnome.

Here he has a haven bright,
His kingdom may seem small.
Within the sanctuary, though,
This merry one stands tall.
Motionless as sunlight dwells,
For twilight's gift, he longs.
The world that's lit by silver sheen,
Is where this Gnome belongs.

Between the tufts of silken ears,
So rests his jolly hat.
A crimson color on his head,
Forever, there has sat.
Beneath the light of gracious stars,
He dances in his land.
The Ogrin, shy, shall love it here,
Like none can understand.

The tiny click of Ogrin hooves,
Doth linger soft, in night.
Not enough to wake the world,
His steps seem swift and light.
The Ogrin comes to life at dusk,
The night realm, his domain.
Transforming as the dawn shall break,
An Ogrin Gnome, again.

Ogrin Day - An Exquisite Species
By Zippo92740

The Ogrin is a species
That enjoys the great outdoors,
No matter if it is sunny,
If it drizzles, if it pours.

They have long, bendy legs,
And a small, furry mane,
And another one down their necks,
And an extra funny name.

Instead of cloven feet,
Or hooves like a Uni,
Ogrins have four paws,
That are large instead of puny.

The stripes along their backs,
Act as a sort of camouflage,
And these stripes can be handy,
When chased by predators, large.

With an acute sense of sight,
They can see most anything,
From Gruslens hidden in long grass,
And non-existent Weewoos that sing.

And when listening for something,
Their ears twitch to and fro,
To hear Screes flying above,
Or Symols digging below.

It is not very much known,
That Ogrins come from Brightvale,
But they migrated to other lands,
Enduring frost, snow, and hail.

Now, I can tell you solemnly,
As sure as day is day,
That I'm glad the Ogrins came,
Last year on Ogrin Day!

The Silver Ogrin
By Peanut02395

The terror of the wide blue seas,
Is neither monsters nor wobbly knees,
No this is something much more better,
Something that strikes you full of terror.

A ship that sails down the swarthy coast,
With black sails hanging from each post,
And at the starboard side there stands,
A shivering shadow with silver hands.

He's the Ghost Pirate, an Ogrin by name,
And he plays the most ferocious game,
He sees a ship and away he flies,
Until that floater at the bottom lies.

He takes all the loot for himself, ye know,
Not a single coin to his crew will go,
Which causes some grumbling
That he's gone mental,
But hey, why argue? They've got dental.

Not all pirates can claim such a smile,
It adds to their character and their guile,
So keep your mouth shut
And drink up with yer kin,
Don't fight at all with that silvery Ogrin.

Ogrin Day
By _Dylan_18

In the early morning the young Ogrin woke,
"Today's Ogrin Day!"
Were the first words he spoke.
He ran outside without a care,
To smell the Ogrin foods in the air.

Without haste he bought the
Neopian Times,
To see what news made the headlines.
It seems a new colored Ogrin
Has been seen around,
And apparently there are some new
Ogrin crackers to be found.

Off to the market place he went,
Following the new Ogrin foods' scent.
Licking his lips at the thought,
What new foods can be bought?

He stood and watched
The Ogrin Day parade go by,
That meant Ogrin Day was almost over,
He let out a little sigh.
He was getting ready late at night to go to bed,
But decided to give the Lab Ray a try instead.

The Lab Ray shot and transformed him
Into a little Gnorbu!
So he cried and then wasn't sure what else to do.
But then again, being a Gnorbu would be okay.
It's just in time for glorious Gnorbu Day!
