Upon the wall, a silent shade
Into the darkness it does fade
Golden eyes as cold as steel
Across the shadows it does steal

Ebony paws, blackened pelt
All pets' courage it does melt
A violet collar around its neck
Into the dark night it does trek

Mage of air and earth alike
When unexpected it does strike
Ghostly body, sleek long tail
When finally found it does unveil

An attack of darkness, evil, malign
Magic and material it does combine
Elusive foe and rarely seen
Light from the forest it does screen

Flaming eyes of golden hue
Innocent pets it does pursue
Light of step and quiet creep
Only in daytime it does sleep

Pitch-black villain, center of fear
Nighttime comes, it does draw near
Black wraps around and squeezes tight
The Shadow Usul is here tonight

Usul Skiing Championships

Whirling snow and freezing frost
Incredible win or staggering loss
Biting winds and soaring heights
Ceaseless days and endless nights
Fun and games have turned to pain
It's Usul Skiing Championships again!

Participants strut up to the line
Dressed their best and looking fine
Tough and meek
Strong and weak
Prepare your senses for the strain
It's Usul Skiing Championships again!

The starter's gun; the crowds go wild
Down to the slightest screaming child
Whisking down the nearest slope
Every Usul with the hope
Of winning - they might be insane,
But it's Usul Skiing Championships again!

Twisting, turning, spinning about
Too fast to hear a word or shout
One hits a tree, one flies over a hill
Again and again, up until
There's but two left, Sandra and Shane
It's Usul Skiing Championships again!

Nearing the finish, the onlookers wait
Every breath holds its bate
The race is won! No, they've tied...
No one knows if Sandra cried
Together they lift the trophy; it's plain
That it's Usul Skiing Championships again!

Gilly the Great

Oh Gilly the Usul,
Impetuous, fearless,
Will go down in legend
For a spirit quite rare!
She ventured upon
Ruins dreary and cheerless,
(As an old Gypsy's tale
Directed her there.)

In Neovia, the town,
A small locket she found,
'Midst mysterious rubble
Charred, ashen, and black.
No clues could she find
From the vendors around.
Suddenly, on the outskirts
She spotted a shack.

But alas! for a Swamp Witch
Named Sophie lived there.
She snatched it away
And sent Gilly to flee!
Fled the Usul to caverns
Made dark with despair -
Wherein dwelt a dark creature
A true monstrosity.

Gilly, cunning and sly,
Used her skill, scoffed at fear,
And discovered 'twas Bruno,
The Swamp Witch's kin;
Went the three to the forest
To find great Ilere,
Who directed their steps
To a graveyard within.

Sophie, Gilly, and Bruno,
Dug up graves, tested bones,
And discovered remains
Of the One that they sought;
But the Spirit of Slumber,
his name was unknown -
So they ransacked the lists
(And tried not to get caught!)

At last, armed with the name
Sophie rolled up her sleeves
Started mixing and matching
A potion to make.
Bruno grew and then shrank,
'Fore the others perceived
That the Spirit himself
Bruno's body did take.

Well, to make long tale short:
Neovia was enslaved
And a potion of evil's
Effects still remained.
Sophie mixed one last potion -
And Neovia was saved!
(Of course, after the Mayor
Was forcibly restrained.)

Yes, Gilly the Usul,
Impetuous, fearless,
In legend and lore
She will surely go down;

But her courage and wit
Helped to save a lost town.

Usul in a Feathered Hat

Usuki rogue, his sword in paw,
A dashing figure, true.
A musketeer of noble soul,
So swathed in red and blue.
Elegant, his handsome face,
So carefully, he'll groom.
Tilted hat atop his head,
Complete with feathered plume.

Rescuing a damsel fair,
And saving those in need.
Reckless for the cause of good,
A hero's heart, indeed!
Coat is combed like shining silk,
It cascades, rich and soft.
He darts around on missions, brave,
Full tail held aloft!

Villains fought with fencing skills,
In battle, none can match.
Criminals know he shall foil,
Whatever schemes they hatch!
With a hint of suavest grin,
He utters witty quip.
Usuki rogue shall save the day,
And leave, sword at his hip.

Handsome with a wining grin,
And rather debonair.
He battles with his trusty sword,
And moves with style and flair.
Charming as he wins the fight,
He'll save the day with glee.
Ride off in the fleeting light,
He'll tip his hat, and flee.
