JETSAM DAY SPECIAL

A Jetsam Named Vik
By Noisynik

A Jetsam, big and tough
With plenty of style
Once met a Shoyru
That really made him smile

He was purple and meek
Not one for a fight
Ran into a nasty Techo
At an eatery site

The brave Jetsam, named Vik
Not scared to defend
Came to the rescue of the Shoyru
And became his good friend

He hoisted the Techo
Right off the ground
Threatened to throw him
Where he just may have drowned!

The Techo was silent
Too scared to speak
Didn't step foot in that eatery
For almost a week

Vik's usually mild mannered
A very nice fellow
When you get to know him
You'll realise
He's really quite MELLOW!

Spectre
By Laurelinden

With ruby eyes, his cruel gaze
Does scan the players carefully;
The other players are amazed:
Their voices turn weak, warbly.

To lie before that piercing stare
Is, even in Cheat!, difficult;
Sweat beads their skin; their eyes are scared
Little Timmy prepares to bolt.

And still he says, in trembling squeak,
"T... two aces," tremulous;
Spectre gives his hand a peek...
His teeth flash in grin victorious.

"Cheater," he says, quite carefully,
as Timmy picks up the old cards.
His card mates look up warily,
Wondering what those ruby eyes guard.

But Jetsam's secret's not his gaze of fire;
Instead his nose, which can sniff out a liar.

Seaweed Delight
By Aliciapirmohamed

Sleek and quick, a Jetsam is he,
Fierce, strong fins - a ruler of sea.
Unbeatable jaws, none too pleasing,
Large red eyes, severe and gleaming.

Under the depths of watery blue,
A Jetsam lurks, red in hue.
The fish, they watch in terror and awe,
Wary of teeth as sharp as a saw.

He continues to swim, his eye on his prize,
Even the octopus cannot match him in size.
Snapping his teeth, this Jetsam grins,
With one last dive, he's in for the win.

Two splashes later, he's back on the shore,
Gracing the island with a magnificent roar.
Next to him sits a seaweed delight,
For on Jetsam Day, he deserves a good bite.

The Aggressive Aquatic Automaton
By silver_spiderlilies

In the briny deep, where ships falter
And lunging waves are sliced with silver
Where foam gnashes vehement teeth
And creatures from the seabed seethe

Grey-plated figures streak through blue
Their dorsal fins stained blood's hue
And steely jaws mechanically work
As jagged tails veer berserk

Nautical predators of Neopian seas
Slashing grief on coral trees
The slow swing of menacing tails
Smears sapphire water like red-marked sails

They stalk alone, these onerous beasts
Hinged jaws gritted for grisly feasts
And every Neopet fears the robot Jetsam
For where its shadow drifts, there lies bedlam

And if ever on sea's skin spy stealthy pattern
Then beware the aggressive aquatic automaton

Phantom of the Waves
By Anjie

Golden day's reflections fade,
The sun gives final sigh.
Ocean cast in shadowed night,
Aglow from starlit sky.
The flicker of a ghostly fin,
Breaks through the glistening sheen.
Eerie figure in the deep,
A phantom, toned in green.

Wispy tail fades behind,
The Jetsam's fleeting form.
He seeks the depths of oceans floor,
Where sunlight cannot warm.
So toned in spectral, shifting shade,
Alight in pallid green.
He seems a phantom in the waves,
A vision, not quite seen.

A ghostly presence now shall leap,
Above the crashing tide.
Within the shiver of cold night,
The phantom cannot hide.
A Jetsam beast of ghostly tones,
Above the waves shall soar.
He seems a memory in the night,
A vision, nothing more.
