Dorak the Mighty
He rows all day and heaves with might,
He's not a Draik who's very bright.
But he's brave, knows what to do,
When searching for those rare Dubloons.
Bravely rafting through the seas,
It's quite a shock he doesn't freeze.
With skill, dodging tricky mines,
Precisely knows the dangerous signs.
The Black Pawkeet's his enemy,
What he wants is harmony.
That's ludicrous, what can he do?
Those pirates; dirty kind of crew.
For now, we should give thanks to him,
Risks his life and maybe a limb.
Let's give a cheer to Dorak the Krawk,
The one who fights and never stops.
Beauty Contest Brawl
The Beauty Contest is vicious,
But boy is it full of fun!
Don't let it break your wishes,
Of becoming Neopia's number one.
Don't miss a spot on that eyelash,
Or you'll lose a vote or two,
Make sure you brush those teeth super clean,
Or no one will look at you.
Don't be caught with a frown,
Make sure you stand up and smile,
Because if you don't,
Winning may take a while.
So get out there and strut your stuff!
Make it a week to remember,
If you win, then congrats!
We'll see you back in December.
I Declare: Beware!
To all those that would
Venture inside Geraptiku's door
I hope that you would listen
As I entreat and implore.
For though there may be riches
And great destiny inside
Please beware the darkened corners
Where much terror does reside.
If dirty crooked stairs all strewn
With bones will not dissuade you
And ancient runes with warning signs
Don't frighten or appall you
Just imagine getting lost inside
That dank and dreadful tomb
With countless halls and chambers
Reeking death and dire doom.
(And I'm sure you would think twice
Before embarking on this maze
For the nauseating stink of rot
And mold would surely craze!)
But if you happen to have thought
About it more than I believe
And still want to continue
It is you that I most grieve.
Because although I could call others
Simply silly and quite blind
You, my stubborn friend, are sadly
Of the foolish kind.
Neverending Boss Battle
A last-ditch defense against terrible odds!
I'm only one ship, small and fast
Against a behemoth, for Sloth's on his way,
But I swear that I won't let him past.
As long as I've life and a ship I can fly,
I'll harry the monster across the night sky.
I can't win the battle, but I'll win the war:
The time that I buy saves what I'm fighting for.
A last-ditch defense against terrible odds!
I meet him; my fate now is cast.
But all of the time that I keep him at bay,
My home's making ready and fast.
Neopia fair brightly turns far below
While I spend my life on a merciless foe.
The home that I love knows that he can be beat;
It's only too bad I won't see his defeat.
A last-ditch defense with impossible odds--
My shields are now failing at last.
I knew all along that there just was no way
I could win against something so vast.
I've done what I must and I could on this day;
I hope that my price
Means no more have to pay;
I'm doing my best, but I just can't go on;
I only can take one more shot and I'm--
The Pant Devil
An Acara on the road one day,
Met a familiar face.
A fiend with eyes as red as fire
Sent her running from that place.
In her panic, she left behind
A possession she had treasured.
The Pant Devil, silent and gleeful,
Rubbed his hands with pleasure.
With what strength she had, she ran for town.
When she arrived, she wore a frown.
To the office of Judge Hog she went,
To tell him of her fate.
The old defender looked at her,
And began to contemplate.
"I have the person for the job,"
He said so straight and sure.
He took a pad and wrote a letter,
Then gave it to a Pteri.
The Neopet took it and flew away,
Straight across the sea.
Judge Hog said, "The man
I'll send will help you,
Have faith and you will see."
The Pteri came above a house,
And let the letter fly.
And down it went, into a house,
And then there came a cry.
The Techo was caught unawares,
For he was napping at the time.
'Til a letter came a-dropping,
Addressing a dastardly crime.
The Techo read the letter,
His heart began to pound.
For Judge Hog had sent him
On a quest most profound.
With gear and courage,
He went his way as bravely as he could.
Within his heart was a promise,
A promise to do good.
A week had gone, and there was no sign;
The Techo had grown weary.
Then he saw the fiend upon
A night so dreary.
With a cry and leap, he swung with his right
Only to receive a counter hit.
He went sprawling through the earth,
But still he wouldn't quit.
Within him grew a fire,
So strong and so hot.
The fiend just stood there laughing,
And calling him a tot.
With a sudden cry of anger
The Techo leapt and swung.
The fiend was far too slow and
Quite a distance was he flung.
With a curse and cry, the fiend
Got up and fired a radiant beam.
The Techo calmly took a lens
That seemed to gleam.
The ray of light struck the lens
But broke it not a bit.
It doubled back, with a vengeance,
The Pant Devil it hit.
With a cry of anguish, the fiend ran
His heart swimming in ire.
And then the Techo, with a scroll he brought,
Spoke with words of fire.
There was a deafening boom,
And a show of lights,
As the fire came a-roaring.
The Pant Devil, caught unawares,
Was quickly sent a-soaring.
When the dust had cleared, the Techo
Grinned for he saw what had happened.
When the darkness lifted around a tree,
He saw a bike was fastened.
The Acara was worried now,
For the task had taken long.
Then from around a corner,
She heard a familiar song.
The Techo came a-riding
On a bike painted red.
With a smile and a cheer the Acara ran,
And nothing more was said.
