GRARRL DAY SPECIAL
Ode to a Grarrl Gladiator
The seers in the stands throw up a cheer;
The mighty battler Gordox has arrived!
His blade's almost as wicked as his leer,
His head's thrown up; he knows he will survive.
His many foes all tremble in his wake,
For never once has Gordox lost a fight.
His roar can cause the very earth to quake;
His armor's glinting rivals the sun for light.
His fans all praise their hero's fearlessness;
Screaming out his name as he strides by.
His jaw is set with a stone hard grimace
But a deadly light does glimmer in his eye.
The mark is made; the day has just begun;
But they know who, at its end, will have won.
Galgarrath the Guard
Stalking long jail corridors,
Sealing prisoner's fate.
Only one can mark this role,
Behold, Galgarrath the great.
Cellblock is the game of choice,
For he was trained by the best.
If you are new to this game,
Don't go to him for a test!
If he gets beaten, be sure to run,
He is not one to get mad.
Those teeth aren't there for show, you know?
Things can go horribly bad.
One so evil and dangerous,
Mastering the game he plays,
He strides gloomily, at a victorious pace,
Every... single... day...
The Grarrl Who Crushed Tyrannia
A violent tremble starts to shake,
The earth itself shall shift.
An ancient realm will seem to move,
The boulders roll and lift.
With massive footprints in his wake,
The Grarrl gives mighty roar.
Tyrannia does lay a wreck,
And yet he plots for more.
Those limbs are lifted high aloft,
Each sharpened claw shall gleam.
With such disdain his nostrils flare,
And forth come wisps of steam.
Stomping boulders, crushing trees,
Dark havoc, left behind.
Within the structure of this realm,
A flattened path shall wind.
The Concert Hall has crumbled fast,
The Ticket Booth's a mess.
An angry beast hides in his cave,
His wings flared in distress.
So fictional, this horrid tale,
The Grarrl through land did plough.
Fear not my friends, repress your fright,
It's just a book... for now.
A Baby Grarrl
The fiery, garnet skin of a Neopet I see,
And a sight of innocence my eyes behold,
For emeralds the size of fists look up at me,
As a stubby baby tail swishes back and forth.
On chubby legs he staggers to his feet,
Teeny arms flailing helplessly about,
The cutest thing you'll ever want to meet,
His giant head bobbing about.
Then "OUCH!" That hurt! That mean tyke!
Rearing up on me out of the blue,
But as with children, he is hard to dislike,
So sighing, I pick him up and carry him home.
Crossing the street he starts again,
Biting and scratching with tooth and nail,
I ask him to stop three times and then
He looks up at me, eyes wide and big.
His baby innocence I fought to resist,
But in the end he was too much.
I put him down and brought out a gift,
And that was the end of that.
But a baby Grarrl I'll never trust,
Never oh never will I,
For they may be cute, they may be small,
But they carry a very mean bite!
When Gladiators Warred
In ancient times when battle reigned
And maidens gentle facades feigned
Swords whistled swift in turbulent air
And no man dared step on turf there
There lived a Grarrl of courage made
Sheer chivalry splashed on his breastplate
Staunch mettle wove itself on his sword
And strength from its gilded hilt poured
That sword it flew in battles mean
And many victories it had seen
The Grarrl his roar it broke on hills
And wrinkled the skin on distant rills
No braver warrior hath Neopia seen
Than the Grarrl who fought in battles mean
When war gasped in Altador
And dawn saw the rise of Torakor
