BLUMAROO DAY SPECIAL
Rubber Pets

Some Neopets do lumber
with a slow and funny walk,
And others they just tumble,
skip, promenade, or stalk.
Some jog or sail or mosey down
the hiking path they're on,
but whatever form of motion used,
they get to where they've gone.
These pedestrian maneuvers
lack a fascinating air,
What would the world do without
the pets that move with flare.
Oh! For the Neopet that leaves
the most interesting trail
is the funny little rubber pet
that bounces on its tail.
Call to the friendly jumper,
"Hello, sir Blumaroo!"
The limber little leapers,
that bounce along with you.
You could not find a better
choice in animated pets,
The springy little Blumaroo
is what all paraders get.

Ode to a Blumaroo

Who insists on jumping higher
Than a coil of springy wire,
Than a bouncing rubber tire
That some troublemaker threw?
It is him, the Blumaroo!
Who makes bouncing look so easy?
Who sings songs when he's not busy
Making his poor Petpet dizzy
And his owner sometimes, too?
Him, the bouncy Blumaroo!
Who will battle Grarrls and Jetsams,
(For no scary foe upsets him)?
"To the Battledome! Come get some!
For my Victory is due!"
Shouts the gallant Blumaroo!
Who will stand there, sweet and funny
With his ice cream getting runny
Asking for some spending money
For a game of Dice-a-Roo?
My companion, Blumaroo!
Come, my friend, do not be loony!
On this lovely afternoony
Let us mount a painted Uni,
You and I, my Blumaroo,
At the Merry-Go-Rrrrrrwooohooo!

The Blumaroo Gnome: A Hero

Hush and listen, one and all
To the tale of a noble being
Whose cheeky, peppy demeanor
Keeps all the Whoots a-singing.
Have you heard of little Roo
Who sat in his garden fuming?
He kicked and cried a good five hours
For his kau slips weren't blooming.
He would have cried a whole lot more
But night was slowly creeping
His eyelids drooped, his body sagged
Exhaustion sent him sleeping.
'Twas then that our hero came along
In soft brown boots a-skipping
He stroked his beard and scratched his head
When he saw the kau slips drooping.
From the pocket of his green shirt
A wooden stick came popping
He muttered words under his breath
And sent the stick a-hopping.
It bounced among the flowerbeds
And then the earth was shaking
The kau slips stretched their sleeping limbs
The garden started waking.
Our hero laughed and clapped in glee
It sent the garden chuckling
And then he gave Roo's head a pat
And went on his way smiling.

Kiss the sky

Springing tails
He never fails
To paint a smile on my face
The wind is warm
In tropical night
Cheer is worn
Whistling bright
A merry deal
Oh to feel-
The joyous life within his race
Loving bright eyes
Dragging ears
A plush embrace
To pursue my fears
To hop and play
With me all the day

The Bouncy Blumaroo

Across the fields, lush verdant green
Blumaroos in flocks do bounce
Their skins gleaming with tawny sheen
And felt ears in orchestral flounce
On a sunny island green and cool
Blumaroos live in coloured homes
Under the sceptre of kind King Roo
Swirling under the carousel's dome
They play with black-flecked dice and Unis
Greeting every Roo with a gentle jump
And on hot days eat lime Roo jellies
All juicy and fruity in a clump
Their button eyes peer with mild soft gaze
Sinewed flanks pound hard on soil
On sun-bronzed pastures they do laze
And toy with crowns of silver foil
When jumping, heart-shaped paws fly
And lips in dazzling grins curve
Avoiding Count Von Roo the sly
And heralding their king with love!
Across the fields, lush verdant green
Blumaroos in flocks do bounce

And if
Fyora grants favour to you
You'll glimpse,
On a sunny day, a Blumaroo
