Eternity
By Gemrald_004

Shadows flit from stone to stone
Among the ruins you stand; alone
Here once was a city grand
Worn by time to dust and sand

What could have been? What did take place?
You wonder in silent, solemn grace
An ancient city so wronged by fate-
Qasala did time desecrate

You are in a land of mystery;
A land of tales lost in history
Perhaps the world shall never know
What took place so long ago

Darkness falls as the sun sets,
You are filled with many regrets
As footsteps echo through the stone
You realize you really aren't alone...

The Nine Map Pieces
By Jamice_muff_muff

I heard about a Neopet,
As crazy as could be.
He lived on atop lonely isle,
Miles out to sea.

He was a mad, old Scorchio,
Who made some sort of ray.
He said to those who want to know,
"Nine map parts lead the way!"

I rushed to my deposit box,
And stuck my hand inside.
I found one piece of treasure map,
"Eight to go," I sighed.

I ventured to the Haunted Woods,
And asked a passing ghoul.
He handed me a treasure map,
"Seven left, you fool!"

While passing by the Money Tree,
Something caught my eye.
A piece of long-lost treasure map,
"Six are left!" I cry.

I stopped at Hubert's hotdog shop,
Some Neopoints on hand.
Hubert handed me a map,
"Five are left, that's grand!"

I rode the Roo Isle. Carousel,
And from it I withdrew,
Another piece of treasure map,
Four were left, I knew.

I hopped aboard a ferry boat,
The captain made me row.
Beneath the oar, a piece of map,
"Three pieces left to go!"

I swam to the Maraquan Ruins,
And dropped my fishing line.
I hooked another treasure map,
"Two are left! Divine!"

I fluttered up to Faerieland,
And asked the Faerie Queen.
She handed me another map,
"There's one I've never seen!"

I traveled to the Coltzan's Shrine,
My hands started to glow!
The final treasure map appeared,
"To the Secret Lab I go!"

The Snowager
By Peanut02395

It's so cold inside the Ice Caves,
Where my hide is made of frost,
Where I sit atop my treasure trove,
And dream of treasures lost.

I spend my days and nights awake,
I never even blink,
But every now and then I sleep,
Or that's what you may think.

Deep beneath the folds of dreams,
I hear you tread the ground,
It pierces all my memories,
In a cacophony of sound.

You pause and gaze in wonder,
Your breath frosts in the air,
But I see what you truly want:
To pillage my whole lair!

You reach forward to grasp a Negg,
But before you can clasp it tight,
I rear up from my cozy bed,
And give you quite a fright.

You manage to get away from me,
Your terror is sublime,
But do not worry, little pet,
I'll eat you another time.

The Tears of Caylis
By Voldemorts_evil_spy

No one sees her falling tears,
They blend in with the sea.
"Salt with salt, it's all my fault,
Dreams, don't come to me!"

No one watches out for her,
None care if she survives.
And while she broods in solitude,
I'm saving all their lives.

I bring good fortune to the sea,
They all want me to stay.
But my sister's dreams just bring their screams,
And they push her far away.

The sea is big and spacious,
Yet there's no where left to hide.
She lives alone, she weeps and moans,
She holds on to her pride.

She drifts among the rocky coral,
She floats beneath the sun.
She swims along and cries her song,
Her happy days are done.

Once she lived among us,
In the land of gleaming might.
They drove her out without a doubt,
They keep her far from sight.

No one sees her falling tears,
They blend in with the sea,
She despairs and my heart tears,
Why can't she stay with me?

Of the Darkest Faerie
By Songful

Heed not her words, oh wanderer bold,
Beware who strives to dark lands cold -
For sooner come cruel hands of fate
To snatch and guide you to her bait.

Turn back on built paths, wild and grim
Ere darkness comes and gray skies dim -
No sheltered place will come to aid
When all light falters and stars fade.

Oh soldier brave, hold back your fear
And know your heart in dimness sheer -
For all who on such quest embark
Must keep to courage through the dark.

Withdraw from terror and despair
See not the vile charms of her lair -
Within her web do not turn back
For shadows fall upon your track.

And should a soul fall to defeat
Within her maze and her deceit -
Look from her face and from her eyes
Lest you should fall to your demise.

For icy flames throughout her blaze
As fires burn in her charmed gaze -
And flowing garments in sleep twine
To mask foul motives and malign.

Hence hear my words, oh daring one
Should all brave causes come undone -
Return from paths that perils trail
Lest all goes down to no avail.
