The Unnamed Hero
By Pinkzorro

Once upon a tale untold,
Terror Mountain had stood cold,
A lonely structure standing bold,
With looming power on its head.
Imbedded in this force's mold,
The mountain gleamed with spotted gold
Of value one could not behold,
But merely imagine instead.
And did the mountain remain desolate?
An eerie landmark filled with dread?

'Twas in this time of evil deeds,
Of hate and pain, of cries and pleas,
When villains came like sprouting weeds,
And heroes fighting for their cause.
And whilst life planted its new seeds,
A hero emerged through the trees,
A sword of fire held at ease
To vanquish foes without a pause.
And was this to be the unnamed hero?
To diminish all of good will's flaws?

This brave young Kau shone with a light
To pierce all but the darkest night
To separate what's wrong from right
And to illuminate his path.
With Terror Mountain as his sight,
This hero sought the evil plight
That held the mountain firm and tight
And proved a most fearful wrath.
Yet did the Kau ever succeed?
And did he vanquish evil in his path?

Now up the mountain, oh so steep,
The Kau had forced himself to creep
Without a sound, without a peep
Of what the future had in store.
Without a peaceful night of sleep,
The Kau descended fissures deep
Until he found what he did seek:
An evil menace at the core.
And was this the end of that loyal Kau?
Was he to be seen only in lore?

There; Dr. Sloth stood dark and tall,
Death-like eyes showing evil's thrall,
With power that was none too small
To overcome whom stood for law.
From his throat came a cackling call
(Enough to make a grown Kau crawl),
That spoke of pain and the Kau's fall
If he so failed to withdraw.
Yet did this Kau stand up to fight?
Or did he portray a vital flaw?

Yet through these threats the Kau ignored,
So then relieved his fiery sword
In which he used in hopes to ward
The heinous doctor and his might.
So commenced good and evil's war,
Each side doing its deadly chore
For deeds of each side's own accord,
For the darkness or the light.
And who won this most deadly engagement?
The untold and most fearsome fight?

So with a harsh bone-chilling cry,
The doctor let his magic fly
In which the Kau had failed his try
To block the threatening blow.
Yet whilst the Kau was falling by,
His deadly sword flashed in the sky,
He slashed right through the doctor's thigh
To leave him tumbling to the snow.
Yet was this the end of both lives?
In those fissures down below?

The doctor's eyes had then flashed red,
And with a startling voice he said,
Whilst through his robes his leg had bled,
That he would once again return.
And with the pounding in his head,
The Kau was then relieved for dead
His life but hanging by a thread
In which he had acquired concern.
And what become of this dark mountain?
Was it, also, to crash and burn?

With a clash, the cliff did tremble,
Stone and rock fall as a symbol
To mark the Kau as brave and nimble,
To see him through his victory.
Mystic magic, once most mental,
Commenced to once again assemble
The light that had once been resembled
For all the good to see.
Yet what happened to that brave Kau?
Did his life contemplate to flee?

Back to the wood, that Kau did crawl,
His head held high without a fall
As light shone down at loyal call,
A guardian he did claim.
A silent walk to no applaud,
He journeyed on, unseen be all
'Til evil beckons its silence call,
More darkness in the flame.
And did this hero emerge again?
Who's to tell of one unnamed?

The Forest Creature
By Silver_spiderlilies

Sleek of fur and lithe of limb
Auburn coat lined with burnt-brown trim
Red phoenix's plumes burst from its nape
And white arched teeth set in muslin gape
A flash of russet, a shining sheen
Velvet paws tread on verdant green

In a woody glen afar
Where silver skeleton leaves lie sparse
A foxy doe-eyed creature stalks
Its moist dark nose delicately sniffs
And freezes. For a moment; stops.
With a rustling sweep of red-furred tail
The Xweetok slinks beneath the trees
And nothing can be seen no more
Save a melted-red streak
Among paper-thin leaves

The forest creature's left no hint
Of passage save the slight-crushed mint
Swaying on the forest floor
True, the Xweetok slinks no more
Its cushy paws tread distant paths
Where faeries dance in bubble baths

Ilere of the Woods
By Songful

In forests lost to sun-drenched skies
Enchantments rose of yore;
Among the spell-spun dark they throve
And hollow secrets bore.

Beneath the stark and shining stars
The secret magic grew;
Below the harsh face of the moon
The hidden charms broke through.

And past the dark and murky tide
She rose from shadows bleak;
Concealed by darkness, wreathed in gloom
A cloaked shape and oblique.

No word could bypass well-trained ears
A light shone in her eyes;
Her garments decked by falling leaves
To augment shrewd disguise.

And in the woodlands she emerged
Within the arcane spell;
The divine Lady of the Woods
Forevermore to dwell.

Lutari Island
By Jamice_muff_muff

Misty skies and foggy shores,
Festive huts with patterned doors,

Buildings done with vibrant hues,
Mostly purples, reds, and blues,

Tropic jungles, leafy plants,
Where villagers all sing and dance,

Feathered hats and beaded strings,
Wild paint and other things,

Sour leaves and juicy fruits,
Wooden drums and hand-carved flutes,

Roaring fires, peaceful nights,
Endless skies of glowing lights,

Drifting in the endless sea,
Never anchored, always free,

Found one time, but lost once more,
No-one knew what it was for,

The natives know, they'll never tell,
How to get around the spell,

Of misty days and foggy nights,
An island blanketed by whites,

I'll never know, I'll never reach,
The hidden shores of that one beach.

Terror Mountain
By Justforlaughs101

They say you are a terror,
A beauty none the less,
A hollow, empty mountain top,
An avalanche, a mess.

The chilling thump of ice,
And in your caves so deep,
The snowager, a soul of sorts,
In peace, he tries to sleep.

For magic's all around you,
And frostbite's in the air,
Beneath a cold and whistling tale
Is beauty without care.

Question: Whose decision?
Your cold and barren fate,
Your beauty is a sole idea,
But never at this rate!

Silence is acceptance,
And though you'd rather sing,
It seems you're just a mountain top,
Lifeless, just a thing.
