Psellia of Dreams - A Lullaby
By Songful

When night has crept upon the land
And day is set in sleep;
Above the shadowed boundary lies
A secret buried deep.

Above all clouds, beyond the stars
A hidden land yet sprawls;
Beyond the night and mist of dark
A wistful vision calls.

And all the marvels that have been
Dwell free again and fair;
All hidden wishes, dreams unveiled
Are stored and hidden there.

And high above the skies are pale,
The clouds are smooth and white;
The fields around the long-limbed trees
Are live with bloom and bright.

And somewhere in those mystic planes
A guard resides, unknown;
Her face is raised, her eyes are closed
A dreamer calm and lone.

And soon in time the night will break,
The day anew will rise;
Yet still above, untouched by time
The land of dreams still lies.

The Castle of Eliv Thade
By Superdeux

Inside a darkened castle was
A restless soul, and all because
A simple game had crossed his mind,
He rarely stopped from time to time
To take a break, to go outside,
To go out for a short bike ride,
He chose to spend his time alone
Constructing puzzles in his home.

With lonely days come troubled nights,
Working hard, with all his might,
He made a game worth playing, named
"The Castle of Eliv Thade."
Upon creating such finesse
An Usul entered his fortress
By mistake or maybe fate,
Whichever, it was all too late.

A challenge rose up by the man
With a pair of sickly, bandaged hands
To collect the treasures in his keep
And cross the cracks, of which were steep.
Without a choice, the Usul scurries
Across the floors, a sense of hurry
To escape this place, to go back where
She came, away from this despair.

For all who enter the gates of Thade
Will have to be sharp as a blade
Prisoners he's glad to take
Whether dead or wide awake.

Obscurity's Reflection
By Roseinfestedsoul

Envenomed with lack of self disregard
Where you see but envy and hate
And for a second you let down your guard
And have realized your fate

Disillusioned by far from enchant
Beyond a shaman's reach
Trembling, you realize you can't
Run back to beseech

A plague upon you now
Deprived from beauty gone
And I bet you can't retrace how
It went awry and wrong

A sweet wish gone askew
By a mirror's reflection
So answer what do you intend to do
When you see you truly miss fine affection

Poor Vira have you succumbed to sarcasm?
Can you no longer hold yourself awake?
Onto the outskirts of chasm
Have you realized your fate?

The Midnight Lance
By Rhiannonleigh1979

The wind was strong to starboard
The waves were blue and chopped
The wooden deck shone brightly
As the pirate sailors mopped
The seven seas surrounded these
Elusive scallywags
As they searched for a place to hide
Their pirate booty bags

Syndarex the Buccaneer
Was known both far and wide
With his peglegged little Gruslen, Max
Forever by his side
His ship was called The Midnight Lance
And like its fearful name
It cut a plundered golden path
Through every bounding main

No Naval fleet could touch them
Like wavedancers, they whirled
And fearful merchants watched the coast
To see those sails unfurled
The Midnight Lancers robbed the rich
But never harmed the needy
Pirates they might be, indeed,
But never quite that greedy!

To this day The Midnight Lance
Sees blue waves at its keel
With Syndarex the Buccaneer
Still proudly at the wheel
Steering for the coastline
Of their secret island cove
There's lots of loot to bury
In their hidden treasure trove!

The Lonesome Robot
By Skycrowmor

Within the famous Mining Corp
Upon the Kreludor Moon
Stands a solitary robot guard
Under the skies star-strewn.

Clad in bulky silver armour,
Steel red eyes shine out from his head,
From the light of the stars the metal gleams
As a lonely glass tear he sheds.

He stands like a plushie forgotten,
Like a friend who has been betrayed,
The only pets he rarely meets
Quickly flee from him, afraid.

Amongst the maze of levers and wires
And the flashing red lights on the dusty plains,
This neglected robot guards it all,
He is shackled there by invisible chains.

Though his iron frame is huge and oppressive
The robot's movements are gentle and calm,
He handles the electronics
He's instructed to watch
Like they are children instead of alarms.

As lonely and desolate this robot may be,
As ravaged by desperation and doubt,
Whenever someone comes near, as instructed,
He yells, "YOU DO NOT HAVE AUTHORISATION -
GET OUT!"

He waits for the one with the authorisation code,
The one his loneliness will end,
The one he has been instructed to allow to pass
Will be the one whom
He's allowed to make friends.

And so this lonesome robot waits,
His lasers always ready to fire a shot,
He will wait for eternity;
The S750 Kreludan Defender Robot.
