FYORA DAY SPECIAL
Rushing wind across her wings
Soaring through transparent air
Songs of dreams are hers to sing
Where she goes, hope will be there
Darkness banished from the soul
Illumination turns back the gloom
Sorrow fails, seeing joy unfold
Warmth replaces dread and doom
Soaring through cerulean skies
Through clouds as soft as Faerie hair
Pauses; turns to the smallest cries
Tribulations bring Fyora there
Star filled nights cradle the just
Sweet reveries in slumber deep
Our very lives we do entrust
To a flying Faerie which guards our sleep
Her name alone will suppress discord
Conflicts adjourn when she arrives
Her presence brings all to concord
As she again takes to the skies
Integrity abounds throughout the land
Neopia is by and large your friend
But when evil appears, aid is at hand
Queen Fyora will return again
One Day I Saw Fyora
Something will be happening,
I'm certain as can be,
The feeling's mixed in Faerieland,
My heart is rimmed with glee!
I'm anxious and I'm puzzled,
I soar up in the sky,
When suddenly a purple blur
Of glitter rushes by!
Frightened, scared and nimble,
I darted towards the side,
Beauty in such kind a smile,
And filled with love and pride!
Her hair a shade of violet dreams,
Her eyes are garnets pure,
Her gaze is fixed yet gently soft;
A great hypnotic lure...
For moments there I was transfixed,
My eyes stayed locked in place,
I did not know this faerie queen
With oh so fair a face!
I watched her swiftly fly away,
Her dress, a pair of wings,
Until that day I did not know
Of truly magic things.
A purple figure stands upon the sky,
Clouds' wispy tendrils blanketing her feet.
Throughout her sun-kissed kingdom, faeries fly,
Content in knowing here they don't compete.
Lush gardens flourish in Fyora's care,
And lift their rainbow flow'rs for all to see.
A gentle breeze twirls petals through the air,
And softly rustles leaves in melody.
Fyora lifts her face towards the sun,
Its fiery warmth reviving weary soul.
Her land is misty cloud of water spun,
Its fountains' mystic powers all extol.
Fyora in her magic realm takes pride,
Where earth, air, water, fire, and light abide.
When the sun drops from the sky,
And when the stars go shooting by.
Young Neopets scurry into beds,
With thoughts and dreams all in their heads.
For those who cannot go to sleep,
Their minds too filled with thoughts so deep.
So lies a legend and without fail,
Hearts warm to hear Fyora's Tale.
The wonder of the Faerie Queen,
A greater power lies unseen.
With purple wings that glint and shine,
And friends with all, of many kinds.
Her city filled with wonders many,
With laughter, fun and smiles aplenty.
Fyora fills its walls with love,
And rainbows shining from above.
There was a day so long ago,
The skies were grey, fields filled with snow.
'Twas not a day for staying out,
Poor folks would freeze, without a doubt.
A Kacheek farmer and his sheep,
Were stranded in the snow so deep.
He tucked his body into a ball,
Wished someone would hear his lonely call.
It happened that help was rather near,
Queen Fyora was visiting a friend so dear.
At once she gasped out with surprise,
Her ears picked up a Kacheek's cries.
"What if one is trapped out in the storm?
With no food or shelter to keep them warm?
I must, I simply must go out,
And find what this is all about."
The Faerie Queen rushed into the snow,
Her magic casting a gentle glow.
She closed her eyes and listened deep,
For the stranded Neopet's dreary weep.
All of a sudden way down below,
She saw a shape buried in snow.
Used faerie magic to cast a spell,
Kacheek and his sheep, they all were well.
"Thank you, kind faerie!" said the Kacheek,
A worried tear trickling down his cheek.
Queen Fyora smiled and drew him near,
"I'm always watching, so never fear."
And that has been the story true,
Was told to me, and now told to you.
Rest your eyes now little dear,
For sleeptime is drawing very near.
A Purple Reign
The sun breaks over the mountains;
A breath into the sky of palest gold,
Of blue, of pink,
The clouds are troubled in the sky;
A pattering and thunder-sound,
With mists of blue
The leaves are hissing, shaking green;
A persuasive gust, a sweeping touch
That moves the blooms
A candle sputters, smoking dyes;
Brilliant light and scorching heat
But in its center,
A growing plant soaks in the light;
Reaching toward the sky with
Leaves of green and
The moon rises silver in the night;
A silent sacred sky of stars
With shadows black
