MOEHOG DAY SPECIAL

The Youthful Moehog
By Pinkyfingas4

The Moehog is a curious beast
Both fanged and fleet of foot
It runs about as if released
With stripes as black as soot

Beneath the dawning sun it rests
Snoring on a log
Exhausted from the faeries' quests
One spots the wild Moehog

The young one dreams of being the Judge
Leading Neopia proud
In face of evil he will not budge
Instead he snorts aloud

The willow sags beneath its pull
While gentle waters babble
It snorts and giggles, its belly full
Still keen to help the rabble

The Moehog is a curious beast
Both fanged and fleet of foot
Today it devours the massive feast
And enjoys the healing root

With Tusks of Ebony
By Alyndasgallery

With tusks of ebony,
Moehogs stand erect with pride.
Thought by some to be a lesser species,
Their true nature hidden inside.

With tusks of ebony,
Moehogs are loyal to a fault.
Should you befriend such a creature,
Your secrets kept locked as if in a vault.

With tusks of ebony,
Moehogs heed the call of the needy.
Sadness will be chased away in their presence,
With their wit, they are never at all greedy.

With tusks of ebony,
Moehogs know that they are strong.
Although not all feel the need to battle,
Their honour has been there all along.

With tusks of ebony,
Moehogs celebrate their special day.
Rest assured that hooves and hearts will cherish,
The festivities in a special Moehog way!

Dawn for the Bringer of Night
By Schefflera

Way out in the Desert
Deep within a tomb
Deadly traps surrounding
One more deadly room

Way out in the Desert
Something starts to stir
Destiny awakens
Hear the scarabs whirr

Desert hates the Mountain
Mountain hates the dry
Terror winds are screaming
All across the sky

Deep within the Mountain
Bori dig alone
Caverns deep surround a
Beating Heart of stone

Walking from the Desert
Night is coming fast
Bori cry and shudder
Soon to breathe their last

Walking to the Mountain
Strike the Heart and freeze
And the monster shatters
Wind dies down to breeze

Clop of the Cell
By Anjie

Behind steel bars in dungeons cold
Do countless villains dwell.
Prisoners of Lord Darigan,
Within dark citadel.

Locked in isolated realm,
Where all the light does stop.
A Moehog silent and so caged,
The one they all call Clop.

Enigma and a mystery,
His life does seem to be.
None do know why he is held,
And none think he'll be free.

Darigan does keep him there,
And Clop says not a word.
The protests of the silent one,
Shall never just be heard.

Massive tusks are yellowed now,
But vibrant red his eyes.
Webbed and tattered are dark wings,
That span to massive size.

Blocked in Cell away from all,
Where none who care shall go.
Communicating with his hoof,
Stomped on the ground below.

One clop yes, Two clops no,
Three means he wants food.
What the sounds beyond that mean
Is nothing, most conclude.

Master Vex holds tight the key,
The Moehog at his whim.
Clop so caught in eerie game,
His patience does grow slim.

Cellblock never seems to end,
The Moehog plays with skill.
But when the others ask him why,
Poor Clop is silent still.

A Moehog Celebration
By Neojazzer

One day so bright and sunny,
When the sky was oh so blue
I took a trip to Moehog farm
Where pets flock two by two!
And what a sight it truly was,
Could not believe my eyes
Moehog Day was underway,
And boy was I surprised!

There were Moehogs everywhere,
As far as eyes could see
Running, jumping, bouncing
Up and down with joyful glee!
Some were red, and some were blue,
Some were painted green
Some were tall while others short,
Some chubby and some lean!

Balloons were flying everywhere,
The streamers oh so bright
The whole farm decked in colors,
It was such a merry sight!
I looked around at Moehogs,
Their happiness well shown
But then I saw a little Moehog,
Sitting all alone...

I walked on over where he sat,
No smile on his face
He looked so sad and lonely,
And in such a happy place!
I sat right down and asked,
"Little Moehog, what is wrong?"
He said, "I don't have any friends
And don't think I belong..."

"Little Moehog!" I exclaimed,
"Why there's no need to fret!
Now wipe your tears and listen up,
Try not to be upset.
Moehog day is happy,
Everyone is welcome here!
Look now, it's your special day,
So join in with the cheer!

"You may feel sad cause no one's
Taken time to say hello
But here, the folks are oh so nice,
They'd welcome you ya know!"
And then just as I said that,
A Moehog tot came trotting
He said, "I'm watching from afar
And it's you I've been spotting!"

And all's well that ends well,
Little Moehog's with his pals
They're all laughing so happily
While running the corral!
I guess it goes to show you,
If you're worried you won't blend,
Don't! For when it's Moehog Day,
Everyone's a friend!
