KRAWK DAY SPECIAL

Thou, Krawk: A Sonnet
By Blysdb

Magic fungus hath you create,
Slimy suave and vicious bite,
Dost thou know you might be bait
For rich Neopians on this site?

Your own island you do have,
Dice and dubloons are a must,
Interesting food (imagine salmon salve)
Flavored maybe with some rust.

Swab the deck, roll snake eyes,
Buried treasure, try your luck,
See through the cheater's guise,
Avoid stepping in a pirate's muck.

Thou, Krawk, I give praise to thee,
Your greatness, I do see.

The Day Krawk Island Went Away
By Mafdett1

'Twas a misty morning,
Not a grey cloud in the sky,
That should have been a warning,
But there were no open eyes.

You see, pirates like to sleep late
and draw the drapes down tight
For the the pillaging and plunder
Can keep them up all night.

So there were only a few witnesses
To see this grand event
As the mysteries were all revealed
And all the dubloons went.

The treasure all had rainbows
To lead you to the way
With flowers blooming everywhere
On this most special day.

'Tis said that it was magic,
This could very well be true,
But all we know for certain is
All was back by dawn of day two.

I am a Krawk
By Brilliance109p

My feet have tread these ancient paths,
My feet have tread them so,
They've trekked and ran so far and wide,
Yet have so far to go.

My snout has smelt these unknown scents,
Exotic, common, rare,
They've smelt the nicest, richest scents,
Yet still they haunt the air.

My teeth have pierced the hardest rock,
My tongue has tasted much,
Cuisine of rarest delicacy,
Across the world and such.

My tail has trailed the longest trail,
Still it trails along,
Thought I had trailed in every place,
Yet I was really wrong.

My eyes have seen the deepest sights,
The beauty lies in me,
The sky, the flame, the city streets,
The dark and sinister sea.

Across the greenest land I trot,
A slow and plodding walk,
Snouts and feet and all the like -
- I am a Krawk.

Find the Magic
By Sparkly_fairy_dust

The fungus caves are dark and dank,
Putrid waste and rotting wood planks,
Littered with fungus, covered with slime,
You've never seen a place so full of grime.

The darkness hangs stifling and thick,
You want to leave this place so quick,
But you're on a mission, you cannot fail,
Searching for the truth of an old tale.

Can your Petpet really develop?
Grow big and strong before darkness envelops?
That's what you're here for in a place so tragic --
Searching for the old Krawky magic.

You place your Petpet down on the ground,
It shivers and shakes, makes a whimpering sound,
It looks in terror at the bubbling stream,
Letting out a terrified scream.

You gingerly place your hand on a rock,
And pluck some fungus from the plentiful stock,
You give it to your trembling Petpet,
As it breaks into a scared shaking sweat.

"Eat it!" you urge, and it does so,
And suddenly the dank cave is aglow,
Glittering and twinkling with the transformation,
Sparkling at the magic of creation.

Your Petpet is now a fully grown Krawk,
With vicious teeth and a powerful walk,
The magic is there, the legends were true!
You leave the fungus caves and whisper,
"Thank you."

The Pirate Krawks Have Come to Shore!
By Anjie

Krawk Island sits in evening mist,
The fog doth shroud the beach.
Silken soft it veils light,
And hides all it can reach.

Raise your tankard with a roar.
The Pirate Krawks have come to shore!

A massive ship docks at the coast,
The pirates disembark.
Krawk like shadows swagger by,
Their shapes formed in the dark.

Raise your tankard with a roar.
The Pirate Krawks have come to shore!

A resting time from months at sea,
With treasure left to spend!
For every Krawk upon the ship,
Here doth the journey end!

Raise your tankard with a roar.
The Pirate Krawks have come to shore!

The Golden Dubloon does await,
The roar of crowd within.
Time to sing of days at sea,
Or find a yarn to spin!

Raise your tankard with a roar.
The Pirate Krawks have come to shore!

Krawks with wooden legs arrive,
And some with patched up eyes.
Tails trailing in the sand,
And merry are their cries.

Raise your tankard with a roar.
The Pirate Krawks have come to shore!
