Identity Denied
By Thecatgirlforever

Ominous, those cursed clouds
Which hover in the air,
Relinquished by the darkest one
When her freedom was declared.

Revengeful, that most troubled soul
Who reigns with powers great,
Imprisoned for one thousand years;
Much time to contemplate.

Ravenous, that temperament
Which rules her wicked mind,
The epitome of darkness
Now released from her confines.

Relentless, that cruel villainess
Who traipses through her lair,
Instilling fear with cackle wry
Upon those kind and fair.

Forgotten, that most vile name
Which vanished 'neath the tide,
Spoke not for many centuries,
Identity denied.

The Dice Heist
By Zebraxas

Mischievously doth he tread
to peek in cupboards and under beds,
for where a board game is to be found,
dice also are sure to abound.

He does not meander here or there,
but swiftly returns to his cluttered lair,
where boards and guides fill every nook,
to await the dice he so greedily took.

Oh how can he ignore the cries
and tears shed from every Neopian's eyes,
when without the dice for their favorite game,
makes every day dull, boring, and lame?

But the victim's loss falls on a deaf ear,
for he is distracted by his greatest fear,
that no one will ever play with him,
and leave him alone in his lair dim.

'Tis too bad that he did not discern,
that stealing things does not friends earn,
as we now must quest to set things straight,
by beating the Ruki of Dice Escape.

The Deserted Tomb of Geraptiku
By Thegreymaukin

Deep within a city dead,
A whisper in the night.
"There lies a tomb," the natives said,
"Almost hidden from your sight."

Within the silent jungle,
Entwined with vines so green
Symbols scar its stony face
In a clearing seemed serene.

The sun shines down its rays of light,
Perhaps to add some cheer.
Beware, inside is a creature's blight
That inspires o'erpowering fear.

The door awaits to lead you
Into this ancient grave.
A treasure lies within
For all those truly brave

A mysterious wind is at your back,
Chilling you to the bone.
The inside is a pitch-dark black;
Can you enter here alone?

You take a breath and close your eyes,
Holding back your tears.
In order to escape demise,
You must face your darkest fears.

A Friend Like No Other
By Riversong632

Beneath a moon, so bright and full
This creature stalks his prey,
Glowing eyes and glistening fangs,
He claims the night and rules the day.

So beautiful and regal
This creature may sometimes seem,
He may unleash a side of wildness,
Untamed as the forest stream.

Living in a family pack,
Caring for one another,
Although deadly in some instances,
He is a kind and loving brother.

Fur flowing like the endless river,
Eyes deeper than the ocean,
A heart bigger than the sun it seems,
Full of love, courage, and devotion.

Loyal to the end and back
This Neopet is one of a kind,
He deserves nothing less then the title "Lupe"
And I am lucky to call him mine.

The Land of Neopian Treats
By VesperXmouse

Where is it one finds the land of divine
Tastes and Neopian treats--
The smells and delight of thrilled appetite,
Or aroma of chocolate Kacheeks.
The smoothies and pops and glossed Neodrops
Or doughnuts that Hasees do love
Which hang from the trees or melt in the breeze
In the land which I'll sing to thee of.

It's beyond the clouds of Faerieland crowds
But 'neath the Krawk Island seas
Where the fleet faerie bubbles
Are the least of your troubles
And jelly Jubjubs grow on trees.

A day in the land of treats sweet and grand
And tigersquash ice buns galore
Would make Aishas dance or transfix their glance
On delights -- spread shore to shore!
The sweets reach the sky --
Stacked Gnorbu meat pies
Or cakes or biscuits or tarts.
The chocolate pie slice is almost as nice
As slushies or chocolate box hearts.

You'll dream sweet tonight of licks and of bites
Of snow puffs and tooth faerie sweets,
If you journey so far
Beneath nova stars
To the land of Neopian treats.
