ELIV THADE SPECIAL
Huddled in darkness,
Shrouded by mystery,
Hidden behind riddles,
Eliv Thade resides.
Reveling in the misery
Of the many who have lost,
Their minds were his to conquer,
But -- what is the cost?
He lives a life of darkness,
His mind's a twisted thing,
He waits alone for travellers,
To -- at his doorbell ring.
He craves the sight of others,
He bids them -- come inside,
But once within they cannot leave,
His secrets he must hide.
And so he has,
Over the years,
Constructed a game,
Most horribly queer.
Thus, Eliv Thade is never alone,
Though he ventures not at all,
From his twisted mansion home,
And in the darkness -- in the gloom,
He watches brave Neopians
Stumble into their doom.
One anagram after another,
Warps the minds of his prey,
Confuses them and weakens,
And so they fade away.
They play the game they cannot win,
While watched by deathly shade,
They play to sate the hunger
Of the evil Eliv Thade.
His lair of cobwebs fraught with dust,
A castle in the woods,
And from inside an eerie glow
Spreads forth a creepy mood.
His tale is one of wretched woe,
A yarn with much regret,
Once, he was not spectre, mad,
But obsession soon changed that.
He lurks in home of disrepair,
Luring unsuspecting pets,
And when they enter this abode,
Escape, few ever would.
Treated with mind-numbing fear,
Looked upon with dread,
None befriends a ghost like Thade,
A shadow most insane.
Though loneliness may ache and sting,
This wraith is much resigned,
In castle old he sits, awaiting
A challenge of his mind.
The Puzzle of Mr. Thade
Eliv Thade, you mix me up,
And shift my letters 'round.
Any goodness in your heart
Must be buried underground.
To understand your reasons,
To comprehend your rhyme,
Would take me twenty lifetimes,
And I'd still run out of time.
In the darkness you do linger,
And through the nighttime you do roam,
Without a single light to guide you,
Towards the rotting shambles you call home.
You are a puzzle, Mr. Thade,
Of that there is no doubt.
One day perhaps we'll actually meet,
And I'll finally figure you out.
An Ode to the Castle of Eliv Thade
Deep inside the Haunted Woods,
A shadowy Kacheek did dwell.
"A puzzle writer by profession,"
Once ago, he always meant well.
Able to solve any puzzle before him
Was what he prided himself upon.
Many visitors tried to stump him,
He wasn't stumped by a single one.
One day, a servant did give him
The most challenging puzzle ever.
To surprise, he just couldn't solve it,
He was doomed to never solve it. NEVER...
Thade's obsession to solve this puzzle
Slowly brought to him madness.
Fearing their lives, servants turned away,
Leaving Thade in a solitude sadness.
Years later he died, lone within his castle,
That puzzle he never did solve.
His ghostly spectre still lurks in those halls,
So with that castle should you never involve.
However, if you're but daring enough,
You may enter his chilling domain.
With anagrams to solve, it's highly unlikely,
That you'll be seen by the living again...
I do wish for thee, a brave explorer
That you'll unlock the castle's secrets.
And be exempt from the wrath of Eliv Thade...
Goodbye and goodluck, have no regrets!
A Puzzling Fate
Haunting is the eerie shroud,
That as a shadow streams.
Around a castle gone to waste,
Emitting tortured screams.
Its keeper died alone and mad,
His ghost could not evolve.
There's naught but pain for those who seek,
A riddle none can solve.
A puzzler once, in ages gone,
You'll hear his anguished moan.
Still struggling with his lifetime's work,
Shall restless spirit roam.
Do not enter crumbling house,
For you'll find naught but pain!
Eliv Thade does roam these halls,
A spectre most insane.
The curse of puzzles never solved
Can play tricks on your mind!
They left Thade's path to sanity
Impossible to find.
Each anagram is tempting fate,
With caution, each is played.
Be prepared to never win,
Or end up like poor Thade!
Clinging to a life long gone,
And answers never found.
He's but a phantom made of rage,
Who dwells on haunted ground.
This crumbling place, his prison cell,
He'll want to bring you in!
To join him in a puzzling game,
Which he could never win.
Seeking closure he won't find,
A fate he now must rue.
Beware my child, of Eliv Thade,
His victim could be YOU!
