The Grey Ixi
By Exequy

Life is hard when all you see
Is doom and gloom and tragedy.
Torn by a monstrosity,
A grey pet stands alone.

Beauty in her ev'ry step,
Sorrow in her heart.
The Ixi murmurs as she walks,
Preoccupied by art.

What is this art, you ask me?
The art of anguished law,
The truths of sweet despondency,
Sodden with a muted awe.

She finds allure in the darkness,
Like all grey pets do.
She finds a grace in sad distress--
A splendor through and through!

Next time you see her passing by,
Don't lend her your kind sympathy,
As she needs no consolation--
She loves her tragedy.

Count Von Roo's Riddle
By Fatcud123

My first is in victory, though not in battle.
My second's top mark, the start of an apple.
My third is in empty, and also in mitts.
My fourth is in pieces, but not in bits.
My fifth's in a needle, but not in its spelling.
My sixth's last in the water, first in repelling.
My seventh and last is a compass point
(Also found twice in "every joint").
So put me together, and I hear you say,
"You'll never see him around during the day."

What am I?

A vampire?

Count Von Roo.

Dark Faeries
By Sdvashi

Dark, they are called,
Evil, malicious;
Some even say
That they could be vicious

But my wise opinions
Differ from the rest.
I believe dark faeries
Are mistakenly oppressed.

Dark is the veil
Of the calming night.
Dark is the entity
That heals our sight

Darkness enhances
Every sensation.
It's misunderstood
And deserves admiration.

So why, I ask,
Do we detest them?
They bless our pets
Without a question.

Some, like Jhudora,
I understand we despise,
And now I'll fall silent
In case of her spies.

Now, in conclusion,
I hope you see
That darkness is wondrous;
There's no reason to flee.

Except from Jhudora.

The Queen of Cheat!
By Anjie

Crimson hair conceals one eye,
Expression doesn't change.
Lips curve slightly at each end,
Her smile dark and strange.

Sly now as she checks her hand,
And scans her every card.
Devious her face remains,
Her eyes gleam cold and hard.

Lashes dark do lower fast,
Motion of hand so slight,
Two cards placed on growing pile,
But is "two threes" just right?

Gazes cut around the group,
Now did Capara lie?
"Cheat!" squeals Brucy B in rage,
"Not so!" Capara's cry.

Emerald dress does shimmer soft,
The best clothes she does wear.
A girl has got to Cheat! with style,
And have fantastic hair.

Brucy B holds fifteen cards,
And Branston holds the same.
Capara flicks her red king down,
And smirking, wins the game.

No matter how you deal the deck,
Or if your game's elite.
There's nothing that can really match
A redhead who can Cheat!
