SKEITH DAY SPECIAL

Hungry Skeith
By xx_crying_inside_xx

Eyelids droopy, feet askew,
The worthiest job for a Skeith.
Eating junk ton by ton,
It'll have you in disbelief.

Foreman Buzz keeps control
With the help of his hungry friend.
Dropping things into vats,
An aide to the Buzz till the end.

Widened mouth so expectant
Waiting for his next meal,
He wishes his work would never end,
Given the chance he'd take this deal.

Useless wings at his sides,
Having them is really insane.
Perhaps if he lost some weight
He'd be able to fly again.

Covered with ice cream is he,
Intoxicated with the sweet.
So give it up for this big fella
And give him a Skeith Day treat!

Haskol
By Numbertwelve

Within dark citadel resides a creature,
Cruel of heart and grim of feature,
Purple skinned with blood red eyes,
To see him makes even the bravest cry.

He sits alone in dimly lit room,
Plotting out each prisoner's doom,
A row of five will seal their fate,
Forever trapping innocents,
In cells so dark -- behind lock and gate.

Though some have come,
Skills honed, hopes high,
They realize it is a worse fate to defy,
Haskol the Skeith, the Citadel's gaoler,
They realize that by winning they've erred,
Of that they are most terribly sure.

For with spittle spewing from massive maw,
He'll smash you with his deadly claws,
If you should by some unfortunate shame,
Beat him at the Cellblock game.

This dangerous beast he hates defeat,
And in Skeith fashion he'll surely eat,
Anyone... anything, who dares to win,
Against Haskol,
The Citadel's fierce guardian.

The Skeith Bash
By Neo84582

Thump and bump and stomp and crash!
This is how you celebrate the Skeith bash.
Punch and kick and slap and scream,
Skeiths are more frightening than they seem!

Late one night I awoke from rest,
I could not re-enter, though I tried my best,
I heard a song 'neath the pale blue moon,
And so I crept out of my room.

I snuck across the flowering field,
And to a clearing did I yield;
I heard the song grow louder still,
And I even went against my will!

Thump and bump and stomp and crash!
This is how you celebrate the Skeith bash.
Punch and kick and slap and scream,
Skeiths are more frightening than they seem!

I saw the forms dancing by flame,
And to this, my foolishness I blame!
I thought to enter in and see
If these Skeiths would accept me.

But alas, I got beat up!
"You're not one of us!" cried a young Skeith pup.
And now these bruises won't go away,
So there's my lesson for today.

Thump and bump and stomp and crash!
This is how you celebrate the Skeith bash.
Punch and kick and slap and scream,
Skeiths are more frightening than they seem!

Yet Another Poem
My Skeith Tried to Eat

By Orc_Gubnub

A year has passed
Since I and Rubdrub first met,
And still he's the pet Skeith
I'll not soon forget.
Eating everything around him
Like a living garbage disposal,
And perhaps taking advantage
Of my good natured proposal
That no matter what he broke
Or no matter what he devoured,
I would still care for him
Every minute and every hour,
and though he's tried my patience
One time or two,
There's still nothing for him
That I would not do

Rubdrub's grown in a year,
He's no longer so small
He's as big as a boulder,
In fact he's quite tall,
He's grown so much
It should be considered a crime,
But I suppose that's what happens
When you eat all the time.
Rubdrubs not only grown,
But he's bulked up a bit,
His once flabby flesh
Now tightly muscle knit,
He's a little bit scary when you see him at first
But so long as you feed him, no one gets hurt.

Although Rubdrub's a lot bigger,
And not a babe anymore,
I still tend to coddle him as I did before.
To me he'll always be that little baby Skeith,
My then new pair of shoes he was trying to eat,
And though he hates when I pet him,
Hates to be loved,
I can't help but hug him,
Even though I get shoved.
I know he enjoys it
Even if he believes I don't know,
For that gleam in his eyes always tells me so.
And though he again tried to eat this poem
So no one would see,
He can't hide the bond we have,
Just him and me.

Happy Skeith Day, Rubdrub.

We Wanna Thank You Skeiths!
By AnimalFan10

The Neopet with ATTITUDE!
The Neopet that's TOUGH!
The Neopet that's never,
EVER full enough!

I think it's easy now
To guess what it is,
Of course it's a Skeith!
It wasn't a hard quiz!

For them we give
This day!
And this poem!
And some pictures, too!
So you Skeiths,
These are for you!

We love you and want you,
Well, some anyway!
But don't let that
Spoil your special day!

You inspired some Neopets
To be tough like you!
So you monsters,
WE WANNA THANK YOU!
