Mutant Meerca at the Chocolate Ball
By Numbertwelve

Sitting alone in desolate corner,
Mutant Meerca bides his time,
Waiting for his chocolate feast,
Saliva dripping like terrible slime.

Strange eyes fixated upon the sweets,
A most unusually hideous beast,
Hunger burning beneath twisted exterior,
Stomach aching for chocolate feast.

At front of room sit regally dressed
Neopian nobles -- distinguished by wealth,
While simple mutant Meerca ponders,
The easiest way to feed himself.

Taking to safety of the shadows,
Waiting for an easy steal,
Alone in darkness stands the Meerca,
Ready for a chocolate meal.

Then at last attention turns,
As new chocolates are shown to all,
Every eye focused upon the treats,
And silence falls over Chocolate Ball.

And in that silence Meerca dashes,
Quickly across the tiled floor,
Certain not to disturb the masses,
Stuffs his cheeks -- then out the door.

A cry of "thief!" echoes out behind him,
But mutant Meerca does not care,
Perhaps his theft will teach the nobles,
That they are better off to share.

Back to the sewers where he lives,
Mutant Meerca has no fear,
Another perfect Chocolate Ball theft,
Another very successful year.

My Inventory
By Sophielizzie185

Five piles of worthless sludge,
Chocolates, sweets and pieces of fudge,
A piece of map, yippee for me,
A delicious pot of earl grey tea,
An old and rotten worn out shoe,
Some pots of expired maggot stew,
Several items from old faerie quests,
An Angelpuss, they truly are the best!

Super sour and lemon slushies,
Blue Kacheek and Flotsam plushies
The stuff left over from my newbie pack,
A Neopian Times paper rack,
Some garden gloves and a spotty bow tie,
A cherry-tastic faerie pie,
A couple of old scratch cards I never used,
And uneaten vegetables, for they are bruised!

Lipstick, eyeshadow, nail varnish too,
A bottle of superstar shampoo,
An ancient copy of the Neopian Times
Gave me ideas for all these rhymes,
Organic fruits and a collection of stamps,
Four small broken table lamps,
Rather unpleasant chewy dung,
And a healthy portion of veggies and tongue!

Song of the Chocoholic
By Kitokat_mh

The time has come, the day is here.
The smell is drifting through the air.
It's the Annual Chocolate Ball,
Chocolate, chocolate everywhere!

The smells, the sights, the tastes, the sounds,
There are chocolates of every sort.
Mint, white and milk chocolate
On this day can all be bought!

Neopets flocking to the Chocolate Shop,
Where no one goes in and no one goes out,
But they sell chocolate by the truckload--
Something we all will soon find out!

Chocolates resembling every species,
Some are more rare than the rest.
They're selling fast, but they all
Look delicious, which one is best?

Excitement flowing through every vein,
So much creamy delight in front of my eyes!
I have to buy more, every chocolate!
I buy one of every shape, every size!

Today is the greatest day of them all,
When chocolate is celebrated everywhere!
Us chocoholics get up bright and early
To make sure that we all get our share!

Chocolate Day
By Cloudybliss

Flavorful baskets of chocolate surprises,
All different types of flavors and sizes,
Scrumptious candies, decorated with care,
Whipped and creamy, lighter than air.

It's hard to eat just one, I'd rather have a bunch,
Chewy candies, soft candies,
Candies with a crunch!
Lying on my bed, a box of chocolates at my side
Should I have caramel or mint? I can't decide!

An exciting explosion of flavor
Lingers in my mouth, I love to savor
This wonderful taste, so sweet and divine.
Get your paws off that box,
You scoundrel, it's mine!

Hungry Skeith Rap
By Grabeelin

Hide your furniture and your toys,
'Cause eating only food is for regular boys.
I eat all day, from dawn to dawn
And the cycle just keeps on goin' on

I eat when I want and whatever is close.
I'll eat your clothes and even compost.
I'll eat Fuzzles and dagger sheaths.
You wanna know why?
'Cause I'm a hungry Skeith.

What's indigestion? Never heard.
This Skeith can barely get a word
Between the meals and snacks and bites,
I eat even when you turn out the lights.

Dinner, lunch, breakfast? Pshaw!
I eat all day and work my jaw,
And get my belly nice and huge
Then sit wherever and take a snooze

I eat and eat then eat some more,
During peace and times of war.
And if you think that I'm too obese,
Tell me that while I eat twenty weeks
Worth of pudding, chocolate, caramel too,
'Cause nothing in any world eats like I do.
