The Wandering Uni By sailordarkmoon28

I flit, through the air,
A winged pony,
A flying ballerina,
Floating on the wind,
I stare at the ground,
That I've left by my power,
Will I ever see Neopia
Or my owner again?
A book, filled with wings,
Filled with information,
Flooded my mind,
As my owner read,
Now I can soar,
Up with the birds,
So why do I miss
My own sweet bed?
My owner, my pride,
My home, my friends,
Since I learned to fly,
I've been free, free to fly,
Yet I'm in the air,
And the clouds are beneath me,
And I still feel your love,
Tell me, why?

The Lonely Usul By sophieh2000

As she sits
At the edge of the lake,
Her golden paws trailing
In the cool, calm waters.
She sobs quietly to herself,
Remembering the days
When she was young and free,
Not a slaving pet to a cruel owner.
Her mane is tangled,
Unbrushed for many weeks,
Because her owner is too busy to care.
Oooh, the water is cold...
"Maybe I'll catch Neomonia,"
She muses to herself.
The other Usuls
Do not notice her,
They taunt her, call her Tanglefur.
Poor, heartbroken Usul,
She hardly notices them.
She is caught in her own happy memories,
Barely knowing
The difference between life,
And dreams.
"One day, I will be free again,"
She promises herself.
A dream that will never come true.

Neopet's Heart By shearsa

Wider than the open pastures
Where feet run wild
Deeper than the caverns
Hidden far beneath the sea
With more love than the Faeries can give
And more power than the Evil worldwide
The Neopet's Heart will embrace all that enter

With all the space,
And all the depth,
Why would they leave them?
And all the love,
With all the power,
Why would they let them go?

Mysteries and legends
Far and wide
Love and friendship that is never forgotten
Growing and learning,
Caring and forgiving,
This is what is in the Neopet's Heart.

Now you wonder why
All this heart
Is locked and crying in a cage?
Waiting for someone to love
And how can you just stand there
And watch the pleading eyes?
Knowing all the greatness
I say to you,
Oh wondering one
Don't let the Neopet's Heart
Pass you by.

A Hero of the Boldest Kind By septillian

The Monocerous glares with evil eyes,
Blood-stained horns glistening under the moon.
His strength that of ten men.

But a mighty warrior
Deprives the world of this monster!
Sword flashing, the Acara goes faster
Than the eye can follow!

The foul Swamp Ghoul only walks on full moons,
His arms stick out, its bones as stiff as rods
And beware of his stench.

But a mighty warrior
Deprives the world of this monster!
Sword flashing, the Acara goes faster
Than the eye can follow!
The flaming Lava Ghoul watches
Waiting for a victim to walk by him,
A monstrous flaming denizen.

But a mighty warrior
Deprives the world of this monster!
Sword flashing, the Acara goes faster
Than the eye can follow!

Finally Neopia is free of all evil!
But then there is another one invading.
Dr. Sloth and his Grundo!
And he claims himself king!

Acara leapt in and with a brave and noble battle,
Ten Grundos were down.
But Sloth sneaked up behind him,
and with a little knife
Disposed of the Acara without a sound!

And then came the Faeries,
The Space destroying Sloth.
The others freed the Grundos from slavery
And in the kingdom of the Faeries
Acara was revived
Then promised to fight
And make sure evil always lost!

Wandering By sachadaisy

A wandering soul
And it's companion
Trying to find a way
By following their hearts
They will be led to a place of wonder
Wisdom, and knowledge
Filled with glorious luxury
But most of all, new friends
Still they wander
Seeking their home
And when they find it
They will still be seeking
Trying to find a way
An endless path
The endless way
