MEERCA DAY SPECIAL
Misty cloud of silver-gray,
Veiled shadow beyond the cay,
Lingering wisps floating high,
Moonlight streaming by and by.
Silence reigning over shadow,
Leaves glazing a tinted meadow,
Glinting colors of light pastel,
Souls at peace within a spell.
A mysterious shape unforeseen,
Drifting past in slight careen,
Dark shadow of formless essence,
Gliding on of unknown presence.
Wings aloft with allusive grace,
Soaring by without a trace,
Breezing in a tower window,
Shaded by a hanging willow.
Candle doused eternity since,
Fragrance celestial of airy mints,
Treasure glinting beyond a dream,
Lighted by a stray moonbeam.
Fortune shimmering alluringly,
Swift paw extended naturally,
With golden amulet in possession,
Hastens away without a question.
From tower of the Faerie Queen,
Our marauder escapes the scene,
Spreading wings of deepest black,
Glides homeward with no slack.
Upon arrival at shrouded cavern,
Another awaits another's return,
Revealing an entrance under cloak,
As bells chime the midnight stroke.
Entering the mentioned chamber,
Aglow with light of golden amber,
Displays the one sacred treasure,
Valuing beyond valued measure.
Swooping upon the lovely prize,
As hopeful visions fill the eyes,
Whispers to the fellow confidence,
"To us the fortune of brilliance."
Impish eyes glinting of evil red,
Closing shade of dark wingspread,
Dangling from upside down,
Halloween Meerca is now in town.
The Mysterious Meerca
This Meerca runs collecting Neggs,
Every day the same.
We don't know what he does this for,
Or even know his name.
Does he like to eat the Neggs?
Or is he very flash,
Selling all that he collects
To earn himself some cash?
Zooming, zooming all the time
His tail growing longer.
Is this a fitness excercise,
To make this Meerca stronger?
If he hits a red Negg,
The Meerca has to stop.
Does he have an allergy,
Or do the red Neggs pop?
We don't know much about this pet,
But one thing is for sure,
This Meerca's never satisfied,
He's always wanting more.
He'll find the Neggs have all run out,
When he wakes up one day.
But until then, we'll play the game.
Play Meerca Chase today!
The Meerca Chase Host
Dynamic is he, and most dim-witted too,
He bounces around like a crazed Blumaroo.
Whenever a passerby chooses to click
His game, he would jump up and giggle and kick.
The game that he plays in is fun, I admit,
In fact, it's the action games' biggest, top hit.
The only one thing that has crowds disappear,
Is this bothersome, rude, bubbly nuisance, I fear!
Now who is this strange little fellow, you muse?
He'd be a musician that'd miss all his cues.
A pet that all people are loathing the most
Is the Negg-craving, yellow-furred
Meerca Chase host!
Forbidden to touch or collide with red Neggs,
Or even to tap the four walls with his legs.
Despite that this job gives him all-day fatigue,
He loves it and chooses to run a spare league.
So next time you settle to play Meerca Chase,
Don't mind his dumb giggles, if that is the case.
Just give some warm smiles
And a kind-hearted sigh,
And nicely say, "Ah, what a fun-loving guy!"
A Special Meerca Day Dinner
Sneaking in without a sound,
Keeping body low to ground,
Bushy tail hidden beneath,
Like a sword in furry sheath.
Meerca's love of Neggs is known,
One false move and silence blown,
Leaving little room to err,
Moving slow -- with extra care.
The Neggery's hid by dark of night,
But Meerca does not need the light,
Ever so slow he moves within,
Mouth open wide in cheerful grin.
Negg Faerie's snores ring clear,
As each measured step draws Meerca near,
And there before him sits the prize,
Glistening in his awestruck eyes.
A Super Negg is popped inside,
Meerca's mouth -- there to hide,
And slowly Meerca turns away,
Knowing that he musn't stay.
Scampering from Neggery,
Face lit up with childish glee,
He rushes back to his family,
On Meerca Day they'll eat for free!
Robbery of the Meerca Brothers
In slips and notes your boss sends you your task;
He trusts your skill that you will not get caught.
You do not dare to fail what he might ask--
His wrath's a lesson you've been sorely taught.
And so the winking stars down at you gaze
Before Breadmaster's well-known bakery.
In hopes to earn yourselves rewards and praise
You plan to steal his doughnut recipe.
Silent are your steps as in you creep,
Eyes wide, alert, to find your mission's goal.
But, oh! Your noses unprepared
For sweet scent of doughnuts,
Fresh-baked from their dough.
And so the recipe remains unread;
Who could resist eating doughnuts instead?
