DISCOVERY OF BRIGHTVALE

Beautiful Land of Knowledge
By o0Tiffany0o

Today is the day that the wise rejoice,
And bookworms gleefully raise their voice,
For Brightvale's the land where smarts are prized,
And the not so smart people are sadly despised.

The Wheel of Knowledge is turning in haste,
As Brightvale's citizens look on,
Each hoping to gain just a taste
Of the wisdom witheld for so long.

Colorful windows dot the green,
In a splendid mosaic design,
Stained glass of course is what I mean,
The view of the land is sublime.

Celebrations continue throughout this fine day,
And I'm sure for many days more,
Because there is no better way
To say Brightvale's a land we adore.

Hail to Thee, O Brightvale
By Jedertrane

Over the hills, fair and green,
A marvelous, magical place can be seen,
Castles towering, standing high
Against a tranquil, sea-blue sky.
Ixis canter through the fields,
Knights battle fiercely with swords and shields,
Citizens hunt and stalk and look
In search of a rare, elusive book.
Valour, chivalry, knowledge abound,
Listen closely and hear the sound
Of birdsong, carried by the gale,
In the land of Brightvale.

Looming passively in the air,
Leering horribly, a vicious glare,
Straight from sulphurous pits it fell,
The malignant Darigan Citadel.
Briefly this fortress proved a threat
To safety, security: it would not let
The Vale continue its blissful life,
Creating fear and hate and strife,
But virtue triumphed overall,
Hagan survived, he did not fall,
Now legends and myths of Neopia regale
Of the discovery of Brightvale.

Brightvale Always
By Laurelinden

Some would of fair Meridell sing,
Where knights clash blades, where trumpets ring,
But I would sing of fairer still:
Brightvale and its silent hills.

In peace the mind can be alive;
In quiet it can bloom and thrive.
Keep your loud armor and swords;
Give me harmony over discord.

In Haunted Woods some seek their thrills;
To navigate dangers with skill.
But I prefer security
Of Brightvale's well-stocked library.

Shelves of books for me to read:
Greatest joy with nose buried
Deep in print-rich pages stocked
With stories, tales, newly unlocked.

Some wish for bustling crowds
Of main cities, dirty and loud;
Though busy and modernized they are,
Their lights block out the evening stars.

Gazing up in Brightvale sky
In perfect peace, I do ask why
Anyone would choose to stay
Outside Brightvale's fair gateway.

Brightvale, the Wise
By Marianne364

Many a year set out to find
A wondrous land, one of a kind
Where wisdom rules, and riches lie,
And white clouds roam the orange sky.

It is spoken of as "Brightvale"
Because of it's bright skies,
Merry people, and faerie tales...
You'll stay... and you'll know why.

In Brightvale, books are made in large quantities,
For intelligence lies among those pages,
Creating a population, so rich you see
In knowledge, that has increased for ages.

The monarchy there can only be good
With the wise King Hagan there to rule,
Creating nice and peaceful neighborhoods,
And businesses include motes, books, tools.

Brightvale; the wise, the fearless, the best!
City of joy, knowledge, all the rest,
Of you, the world shall never forget,
If so, it would be filled with regret

The Wise Old King
By Demy666

King Hagan sits at Brightvale's heart,
Favouring wisdom, books and art.
While sitting on his throne of gold,
He yearns for new wisdom to be told
To him by Neopets, but it is rare
That information they bring to share
Is unknown to this wise old king,
Whose mission is to learn everything.

One by one hopeful pets stand tall,
Longing to be called a know-it-all.
"It is a sad day when you can no longer trust
Honour like the wrath of a vicious Horus!"
Hagan gives an inward sigh before
Ordering the unfortunate out the door,
Telling the pet as he's dragged away,
"Value studying more than play."

Just when Hagan is about to despair,
In walks a pet with an intelligent air.
"I believe that pride is equivalent to
The tenacity of a checkered Blumaroo".
The wise king blinks and scratches his head,
Here was something he had never read.
A grin appears, followed by a gleeful look
As he presents the pet with a brand new book.
