KIKO DAY SPECIAL

Niten Hiroru
By Stariell

A silent stranger,
Hooded and masked,
He needs no help,
And he's never asked.
Prefering always to fight alone,
Trusting no sword but his own.

Do not seek him out,
Where he is none knows,
He follows no lead,
But where the wind blows.
Ever a warrior, true and just.
Never fighting save as he must.

His many battle scars
Are concealed by his mask,
No fears he has,
To deter from his task.
One Kiko, treading a lonely path,
Only the foolish would stir his wrath.

I have learned his name,
Though he seldom speaks,
Fear Niten Hiroru,
And the revenge he wreaks.
Only the honest need not be afraid,
Of Niten Hiroru and his ninja blade.

Jaime_Jim, the Flying Kiko
By Gingie8

As you know, all Kikos were born to swim--
All Kikos, of course, but Jaime_Jim.
Jaime_Jim was a Kiko created with wings,
Not by any means faerie, just scrawny things.
His friends called him "Weirdo"
And "Never-to-Swim";
Jaime_Jim was hurt deeply,
But still without limbs.

One evening, Jaime_Jim was in his room,
Sniffling and sobbing, knowing his doom.
He never would swim, nor could he fly.
"These wings are useless," Jaime_Jim sighed.
Suddenly, in a great flash of white,
The darkness around him turned to light!

He saw his wings grow, and he suddenly flew!
Said the faerie who made his wings brand-new,
"These wings were not given to make you cry,
They were given to YOU to soar the sky.
So if your heart should ever feel weak,
Remember: these wings will make you unique."

Ode to Kiko Lake
By Laurelinden

When day is dark,
When heart is cold,
When work, it seems,
Is limitless...
When deepest wish
Is for a break
And the future
Holds no promise...

Just step away
And leave that place--
Take space of time
To travel far...
Reside a while
In Kiko Lake
And let your heart
Feel warm again...

Breathe deep the air
(It's always warm)
And let the sun
Give you new hope...
Swim in lake's depths
And see the world
Beneath surface--
It's just below...

Sculpted coral
Upon lake floor,
Seaweed gardens
Are evergreen...
And when you leave,
Return to work,
A piece of you
Will stay behind...

How the Kiko Got Its Plaster
By Jedertrane

Gather 'round and hear a story
Of how a Kiko lost its glory,
So gripping, to listen is mandatory,
Whether visual, written or auditory.

A Kiko lived with style and flair,
Short and round with long black hair,
Handsome he was, beyond compare,
Rich: A multimillionaire.

However, the Kiko had his flaws:
Vain and selfish without cause,
Dropping litter, he did not pause
He flouted Neopia's cleanliness laws.

But justice wins, my little friend,
For the Kiko could not descend
The stairs, without legs to extend,
He met a decidedly sticky end...

He fell, he rolled down every stair,
Bumping his head and tearing his hair,
He came to rest in utter despair,
Wailing that life just was not fair.

The Kiko was left bald hereafter,
He was no longer his own master,
So now you've heard the whole disaster
Of how the Kiko got its plaster...

Exploring Kiko Lake
By Sparkly_fairy_dust

I heard a rumour... but was it true?
That Kiko Lake had a gorgeous view.
The story went that the place was serene,
A grassy terrain kept perfectly clean.

The glassy water is forever ice cold,
The exquisite vision is a sight to behold.
I heard that that place was always still,
Well, that of course is until...

The infamous party does arrive:
Kiko Day 2005!
Kikos from everywhere come to explore
The home they all passionately adore.

Fireworks explode way into the night,
Filling the darkness with amazing light.
We all really love Kiko Lake...
Of that there can be simply no mistake.
