Swirling, spinning, shifting sands,
A desert lost to distant lands,
Past quiet stalls and shaded tents
Where pyramids and tombs sing sad laments
Lies the temple of Coltzan III.
It stands, an obelisk with one side,
Adorned with runes that secrets hide,
For within the sad tale lies
Of this great king's untimely demise,
Locked away in the shrine of Coltzan III.
A generous spirit lingers here,
Aiding those who have no fear
With gifts of strength and health and speed,
Always helping those in need
Is the spirit of Coltzan III.
Approach, you brave young Neopet,
See the place where Crown was set,
Hope that Coltzan's reward does beat
Warm sand beneath your feet,
A gift from Coltzan III.
Meridell, Meridell, the land of green,
Bathed in the golden sunlight,
Shining with a radiant sheen,
But silvery bright at night.
Long grass waving like the sea,
Tulips dancing with the breeze,
Fields as far as the eye can see,
Until it embraces the bright horizon.
Illusen in her flowery glade,
A delicate petal in a shroud of green,
Sitting under the cooling shade,
Weaving her magic gracefully.
And buried in the beauty of
This land that flows with grace
Is the deep and eternal love
Of this grand and wondrous place.
Meeting The Hissi
Cold serpent eyes, a golden hue,
Gaze, unblinking, up at you.
Twisted beneath there can be seen
Endless slender coils of green.
Wings unfurl, stretching wide,
Then beat the air at either side.
It rears back sharply, all the while
Mouth curving into a toothy smile.
A forked tongue flickers, tastes the air,
Then suddenly, without a care,
It rises, taking to the skies,
And leaves you staring as it flies.
Its graceful body, long and lithe,
Through the air will twist and writhe,
In the fading evening light,
You watch the creature's steady flight,
Until it becomes too hard to mark,
Its curving outlines, through the dark.
But before it finally vanishes,
It leaves you with a parting hisssss.
They say there's no mystery on Mystery Island;
They say there's no secret and nothing to learn.
They say nothing's hidden;
They say nothing's lost.
They say there's no call for curiosity to burn.
They say there's no mystery on Mystery Island;
They say anyone who thinks so is a fool.
They say nothing's lurking.
They say nothing's strange.
They say there is certainly no Ninja School.
The Mystic's a fraud.
The fruit's not so odd.
No Ghost Lupe,
No ghost town,
No worries for you.
They say there's no mystery on Mystery Island.
They say there's no more
Than what meets eye and hand.
They say nothing's puzzling.
They say nothing's planned.
They say there's no mystery burned in the sand.
The Drenched of the Deep
Whispers of evil
Resonate through the waters.
Beware witches three.
Never to belong,
Cast away by their own kind,
Haunting the oceans.
Trio of faeries
With eyes that harshly glitter
And dragon's talons.
Beauty gone awry,
Clear on the pale complexions,
Contorted with vice.
Ominous clouds form.
Ships are tossed by monstrous waves.
Swirling shadows rise.
They surface for prey
Amidst the howling chaos
Where darkness now reigns.
Crashing waves reveal
The souls who are cast away
Far from serene shores
The creatures strike out,
Saturated in hushed sins.
Pity their victims.
What fate for these beings?
Lost in a watery world,
Ravaging the seas.
So a word to ye
Who dare take on the blue deep.
The Drenched await thee.
