Jhudora the Dark Evil Faerie
By Volleyball_girl06

High up in Neopia, with shimmering clouds,
with castles of gold, and roofs made of gems,
live faeries of fire, and faeries of light,
and faeries of all sorts,
who try with their might...

To keep you content with moderate tasks,
you retrieve what they wish,
and you do your best,
and if you don't return within when they please,
you save up more Neopoints, and try to again.

Then when you succeed to bring back their list,
in return a gift that will nourish your pet,
but not all faeries are kind and good-hearted,
for Jhudora, the dark evil faerie...

Has never been kind or never been caring,
so finish her quests, if you feel daring,
for she is not generous, or willing to trade
the items you give her
for the ones she has made.

High up in Neopia, with shimmering clouds,
with castles of gold, and roofs made of gems,
lives a dark evil faerie, not willing to trade
the items you give her
for the ones she has made.

A Broken Note
By Kushbi

A broken note escapes,
Leaving the Concert Hall,
Seeking an innocent ear
For it to finally fall.

Made by an accident
During an early show,
A trumpet went off-pitch,
How, no one will know.

It could have been a part
Of the Hikalakas' tune,
A product of creativity
One sunny afternoon.

But among the songs of Neopia,
It felt that it didn't belong,
So off it drifted out the Hall,
And further it had gone.

Now floating into a cave,
It spots a pointed ear,
Settling down with relief,
At last it disappears,

Leaving the Tyrannian beast
Shrieking with jangled nerves.

Sonnet of the Court Dancer
By Laurelinden

With power she dances: a spin and a twirl,
A glint in the beautiful eye of this girl,
Bewitching, enchanting, ensnaring all,
In a pattern of motion she rises, she falls.

"Come dance with me" is her low-toned request,
No king can resist it, nor knight noblest,
No one sees evil, no one can tell;
All who watch her must fall under her spell.

One small Aisha alone sees past the guise,
But she is no threat in the Court Dancer's eyes;
The power of one scrawny Aisha, at best,
Cannot match the spell she's cast over the rest.

"Come dance with me," she repeats as she spins.
"Come help my master,
The great Lord Kass, win."

My Favourite Hot Spots
By Cyberthread

A grassy isle of sunlight and smiles,
That has never seen the fall of snow.
Cool sea breeze which tickle your knees,
Drowned by the buzz of the market.
And the local islanders, so cheery in appearance
And just oh-so-exotic to the senses;
Flowers in hair, soft with tender care,
Adds a dab of perfection, here and there.

West the wind blows to another island unknown,
But the brash welcoming is familiar.
While the pirates sing, and the smugglers bring
Treasures of gold and jelly.
Of course you must wonder, such bawdy folks
Possess Neopia's richest secrets?
Jolly Roger unfolding, tension building
As these bandits set for sailing.

Close your eyes and go back to childish wiles
And imagine you've grown wings
To fly beyond where distant suns have shone
Onto the cloud of magic.
Two separate sides live here, which will you pick?
Darkest purple contrasting with the rest.
Attention set rather on that elusive tower,
Granting weapons of absolute power.

Sultry heat, sand sticking to your feet
As you go further south.
Cobralls stare silent warnings of "Beware!"
Your hesitation uncurls.
But this sand-stormed land
Is nothing but paradise,
And the beauty awaits your scrutiny.
Spirits entombed in graves of doom,
With Scarabs scuttling while they loom.

Personally the best over the rest,
I adore the Haunted Woods.
That ever-sounding whisper
Which makes you walk quicker,
Yet your eyes dare not
Take in such ghastly images.
A Brain Tree? A witch's Tower?
AND a Fairground?
It has to be the coolest thing
You've ever heard and seen!
Trying to "Fetch" foods that match
For that spotted Zafara hag.

Last but not least, home to the Snow Beast,
The peak of the mountain that stands tall.
Even in the icy cavern
There is an aroma of borovan
Which teases your appetite.
A dark corner filled with a snow frosted body,
My, what an awful array
Of monsters they have here!
Still, the winter cheer is always here
Beckoning more visitors year by year.

Caylis's Sadness
By Pirategirl2005

She sits on her rock,
And seldom does talk,
Just cries.

Showing emotion,
Under the ocean,
She lies.

She's under the sea,
And must be set free
From lies.

They make me so mad,
They say she is bad,
Not wise.

They don't understand
Her powers so grand
In size.

So misunderstood,
I'd help if I could;
She tries...

To make people hear,
But they only jeer,
Denies.

Isca they prefer,
And that will be her
Demise.
