GELERT DAY SPECIAL
The Gelert Rainbow

The royal Gelert,
Bowl-cut top and shiny
Golden crown sits perched.
Faerie wings flutter
Amidst the clouds and towers,
A picture of grace.
A checkmate too late,
A white and black collision,
Squares of playful fun.
Bouncing flames consume,
Only boundless energy,
Flicker spark flicker.
Horns between long ears,
Bovine likeness in spirit
Of mirth despite month.
Grey and mopey glop,
Stringy sighs and tattered fur,
Sleep lacking sides heave.
Like spring's juicy days,
Strawberry fields forever,
Seeds in matted fur.
Wiggling swimmer
Squirms to Maraqua to play,
Sunken bubbles dance.
Purple for the vain,
Arguing Gelerts grooming,
Orange dots remain.
Suckles bottle, yum!
Cream and almond bouncing joy,
Chew dig as always.
Red, yellow, blue, green,
Fresh created loyalty
Blossoming with glee.

Scorchy's feeling blue.
He'll get some tasty pie,
And fix it in a second or two.
Who has an Achy Head?
Why that would be little Newt.

Grab him some magic goop.

Maddi has Chickaroo.
I don't know what to do,
But I can always believe in you.

The Drooling Gelert

Raiding the food shop desperately,
In search of gourmet food,
Hunting for that rare cuisine,
Beware! This Gelert drools.
He loves delicious Neopian treats,
Those tantalize his sense of taste.
Feed him tons of precious pies,
And none will ever go to waste.
It's easy to know where he goes,
Just follow the soggy trail.
Use him to find expensive food,
He's got all the venues nailed.
But do not snatch a delicacy
Away from under his face,
You wouldn't want to be involved
In a drooling, hungry chase!
If you see him around someday,
Do give a friendly wave,
For he may just be a rising star
Of the ongoing gourmet craze.

The faerie Gelert, so sleek and proud,
Sits often on the faerie cloud
To gaze upon the passerby
And thank Fyora she can fly.
In secret, as she flies above,
She spies on all she knows and loves.
She watches from where we can't see,
And giggles softly as can be.
Though sometimes you may find her out,
You should not wave nor look about!
For if you play her game a stretch
She may come down for one of fetch.

What love divine within her shines,
What happy health doth she show,
What beautiful knowledge doth her mind know,
How proud am I to say she's mine.
Her eyes that sparkle like ethereal stars
Embedded in rich blue velvet sky,
Not one cosmic sound can pass her by,
The world, the universe, it is ours.
My gorgeous Gelert, so heavenly sits
Upon the top of the world,
A red champion looking down on us all,
There's a space in the sky
Where she perfectly fits.
Here's a space where she dances and twirls,
She never ceases to enthrall.
