The Battle Faerie
By Celeblanthirien15

In the presence of a battle,
There's a faerie standing strong,
Her swords held high above her head,
Deadly, sharp, and long.

With her is a creature that
Can soar high above the trees,
Beating its wings against the sky,
Her loyal Eyrie.

When in the face of danger,
They clash with outstanding might,
Beating magic down with metal,
And darkness with light.

And when the quarrel is all done,
The faerie mounts her true ride,
And together they glide away,
Always side by side.

The Snowager
By Katopia12

As I stood in the chilly darkness of the night,
I held onto my lantern, which I dared not light.
Though dark, it was bright enough to see
My breath, which dangled in front of me.

My heart pounded hard as I entered the cave,
Hoping that I could just stay very brave.
I walked very softly, hoping not to stir
The giant beast in this cavern: the Snowager.

I winced as the hard snow crunched under my paws.
With each noisy step, I imagined myself in its jaws.
Silently, cautiously, slowly I crept
Towards the treasures around
Which this monster slept.

I picked up a paint brush, and to my surprise,
The slumbering beast never opened its eyes,
But as I left, I realized I wasn't out of the woods;
The snowy ground rumbled, on top of which I stood.

The Snowager woke; it reared its great head!
I should have just gotten a scratchcard instead.
The mighty blast of ice that it directed at me
Caused me to drop my paint brush,
As I began to flee.

I got out of the cave, but despite my great strife,
The only thing I left with was my life.
That, some scrapes, and overwhelming sorrow.
I guess I'll try again tomorrow.

Eliv Thade
By Galaxy_chick_199

In the eerie setting
Of a stormy night,
The ghost of Eliv Thade
Laughs with crazy delight.
Daring the brave
To enter his lair,
Pity the fool
That follows him there.
Once you have entered,
To find your way out,
You must solve his mad puzzles,
All without doubt.
Three chances you have,
But please use them well;
If you can survive,
What a story you'll tell!

The Faerieland Employment Agency
By Kitokat_mh

Far away in Faerieland,
Atop a soft and lightweight cloud,
The agency is all set up,
Waiting for you, rich and proud.

Just bring a coupon coloured green,
Or gold, purple or blue,
And we will search through all our files
To find a job for you.

Some jobs are worth every point,
But some will bleed you dry.
You'll buy something, but get much less
For it and wonder why.

You buy a coupon for a fortune,
The jobs don't get you squat!
But then you see the perfect one,
And you hit the jackpot!

Is it worth it? Don't ask me!
I've not had even one.
I only wish I could afford
ANY job coupon!

So head down to the agency,
If you like to take your chances,
But don't expect a miracle;
You'll end up with no finances!

Shadow Usul
By SereeKoneko1

With eyes like yellow flame,
And darkness of the night,
The Shadow Usul creeps along
And gives those who see her quite a fright.

A misplaced shadow upon the ground
Betrays her presence to the world;
No noise issues forth, not a sound,
As she walks along the cold, hard ground.

Is she evil? No one can say;
Perhaps she just wants a friend,
Or perhaps she will lure in some unwitting prey;
Perhaps her cruelty knows no end.

If you see her, do not run away;
Perhaps she will just pass along,
Or perhaps YOU will become her prey,
Gone before the day is done.

Keep your wits about you, my friend;
Stay away from her claws,
Or you may see the unsightly end
Of the whim of the Shadow Usul's paws.
