A Cloudy Glade
By Sprklystrz0919

Oh, I do not know what to do;
I can't decide between the two.
Which faerie will I help today?
Which faerie will I betray?

In the medieval land of Meridell
Is where fair Illusen dwells.
The rogue Jhudora rules, with a powerful hand,
Her cloud in the realm of Faerieland.

Both offer an avatar after twenty quests;
Both offer a prize after every few tests.
Yet I'm given only fifteen minutes to acquire
The one item in Neopia they desire.

I would search high and low,
In the clouds above and islands below,
For that one item they each want and need,
I won't give up; I will succeed.

My bank account would shrink and shrink,
I will spend before I stop and think.
I know this act I will regret,
When I go into financial debt.

I am drawn to them every day;
Why I won't give up, I cannot say.
Even if I fail the very next quest,
I'll start again and do my best.

Though I fail time and time again,
This everlasting cycle will not end.
I think it would be for the best,
If I start doing Kitchen Quests.

A Day At The Beach
By Wondernicky

Traces of a Wocky's pawprints,
Recollections of time,
Sandy seashell imprints,
Reeks of mud and grime.

Crystal clear blue sea
Reveals the secrets within.
Waves lapped at the feet of Kyrii,
As Kois dance beneath with their frilly fins.

Coconut trees sway in the wind,
Pteris perched and played tricks.
Down below, Kougras practice bowling,
Trying so hard to get a hit.

Flotsams leap out from time to time,
Causing shouts of amazement and glee,
But when Jetsams arrive to feast and dine,
All creatures of land and sea flee.

The beach is a place to be,
Where wonders never cease to exist,
Enjoy a picnic or have some tea;
Just don't get lost in the morning mist.

The Mystery of Maraqua
By Burn_misosoup

Beneath the frothing maelstrom
Lies a city lost in time,
Mysteries that mournful spirits hail from,
Taken under in their prime.

What end of Maraqua,
Could create such devastation?
Sank into blue depths of aqua,
A fully flourished nation?

It seems the missing history,
Has been hinted at with lies;
The event, eternal mystery,
Their tale based on our surmise.

One day some brave explorer
Will overcome their fears,
Not approach the void with horror,
To find things lost for many years.

Do you have the vaguest notion
What such findings could reveal,
Preserved in time beneath the ocean,
All forgotten and surreal?

But what daring one will venture
Into murky waters blue,
Embark upon the great adventure--
Could it possibly be you?

Faded Beauty
By Supi01

Oh, how the sun shone upon her,
As she played in the flowers below.
Happy was she while she fluttered,
Collecting daisies as she danced to and fro.

Her hair was adorned with these flowers,
And entranced by her fairness was she.
Then one day she was devoured,
by her own growing vanity.

She wished to be the most lovely
Of all the Acaras that lived,
And a shadowy voice replied slyly,
"So you do realize your beauty is shortlived."

Then she continued her deceitful words and said,
"I can make you more beautiful,
For as long as the stars shine overhead,"
And thus the hopeful maiden was lulled.

And so was she granted a power,
But it was not what she had hoped.
For now she kissed those same flowers,
And, because of poison, they now moped.

Fueled by her change she decided,
Her magic mirrors she would give away.
Those who peered into them were misguided,
By how their beauty multiplied straightaway.

And as the poor soul held the mirror,
And that beauty faded away,
The shadowy voice grew nearer,
And the ugly reflection would stay.

From the mirror the voice whispered darkly,
"There's only one way to get your beauty back."
The frightened soul listened intently,
And within the shadows, Vira evilly laughed.

Something Has Happened!
By Dolphinluva7

Something has happened,
You know that it's true,
103 Neopoints have been given to you.

Something has happened,
It will bring you pleasure...
You just stumbled upon the Ice Caves' treasure.

Something has happened,
This isn't too great...
Some ghosts have taken your Neopoints -- eight!

Something has happened
(You had better sit down),
Your JubJub is stuck with a perpetual frown!

"Something has happened!"
When heard in your ear,
These words might even cause you to have fear.

Something has happened,
For better or worse,
You had just better hope
That you don't end up with a curse!
