The Mysterious Statue
By Servonni

The Ruins of Maraqua
Oh, such a sad place
But a strange object there
Is the subject of my case.

She stands there alone,
Wreathed in dancing seaweed.
A mysterious statue
How did she come to be?

Her pose... so peculiar!
Was she prepared to cast a spell?
Is it a defensive stance?
We might never be able to tell....

But she bears an eerie seeming
To a certain dark faerie...
A connection, perhaps?
That thought's a little scary....

Is she made of marble? Or granite?
And is her amulet real?
Was she once a live faerie
Turned stone by an enemy?

But still, we might never find
Who she is, or where she's from,
As she rests on the ocean's floor,
Steeped in mystery and far from the sun...

Waiting at the Shrine
By Schefflera

Long ago in ancient days,
Before everything became a craze,
Things were done in other ways,
Beneath the dazzling desert rays.

Before 'twas lost and found, it's true,
The Desert held a noble Lupe,
And here's a secret known to few:
Coltzan had an owner, too.

King Coltzan the Third was lost,
With all the rest, and sorrowed most,
For his dear devoted host --
Forgetfulness comes at high cost.

But not for him to mope alone,
Not for him to weep and groan!
Far as sun on sand had shone,
Coltzan's kingdom now has grown,

For to fill his empty time,
Coltzan rid the land of grime,
Gathered wealth and put down crime,
And inspired the poets' rhymes.

Now to nurse a broken heart,
In games and conquest he took part,
Fine cuisine and pottery art,
Encouraged and gave room to start.

For his own and owner's pride,
He spread his kingdom far and wide,
Became admired from every side --
Then, at last, one day he died.

His crown was stolen, then returned,
Ending chaos that had churned.
His shrine stands tall, and lessons learned,
Lie in sand the sun has burned.

Still across the ghostly rift
To Neopets he'll give a gift,
Money, food, a level-lift,
Or just a spook to leave them miffed.

And in the land he'd once defend,
He would like a word to send:
Patiently, for one dear friend,
Coltzan waits -- till desert's end.

The Petpet Store
By Madzilla93

If you ever come to this store,
Look for an "OPEN" sign on the door.
See what is in stock, you may,
But please do not forget to pay.

If you look in a box,
You could find a Doglefox.
There may also be a Warf or Buzzer,
And if you're lucky, even a Wuzzer!

Or maybe a little Puppyblew,
And probably some Angelpi, too.
They all look so cute and cuddly,
But which one shall be your buddy?

You look at the prices...
They'd put you in a crisis!
Haggle until it's practically a dime,
At this time you should be fine.

You've asked the clerk,
This deal should work.
Now to choose what you'll buy!
You ask yourself, "Why, oh, why?"

This is a difficult decision,
You must choose it with precision.
You don't want it mean or bad --
You just want a little comrade.

Well, you will choose someday,
Just please, at least, remember to pay.

Illusen's Glade
By Milorules

Through the lands of forgotten times,
Into a glade, a faerie's song chimes.
Her humble home tucked away, so serene,
Away from the dark faeries, evil and mean.

Illusen's hair shines, sparkles, and glistens,
Her song so sweet for the one who listens.
Green eyes showing her loving compassion,
Simplicity of nature, her clothing fashion.

A gentle breeze blows through the trees,
Her glade, caressed by the falling leaves.
Smell of sweet herbs floating through air,
The smell of sweet patience, love, and care.

Away in the distance a young Draik flies,
His excitement can be seen away in his eyes.
Next to Illusen the Draik slowly lands,
Small sparkling fruits he holds in his hands.

"Thank you, young Draik," says a voice so sweet.
She says, "This quest was an awesome feat!"
She hands him a bottle, a spell she does mumble,
"Here is your Honey Potion, Draik so humble."

Ode To Kiko Match
By Aquilost

When the Kikos are hiding two by two,
Finding them is not hard to do,
But after a couple of lucky clicks,
The Kikos start hiding, six by six!

More successful games, and then,
Those Kikos start hiding ten by ten!
You may have to start over and play again,
When the Kikos are hiding ten by ten.

Left or right, up or down,
Where are those sneaky Kikos found?
Red or Yellow or Blue or Green,
Where was that elusive Kiko seen?

When the Kikos are hiding by twenty or more,
You've reached a really impressive score!
This game you've started to adore,
When the Kikos are hiding by twenty or more.

Now there are more Kikos than you can count,
You can't imagine a larger amount!
And your life will never be the same,
Now you're addicted to this crazy game!
