Berry Delicious
By Burritoloco

Have you ever had the delight
Of taking your first bite
Of a super juicy berry, so full and sweet,
Something that you always want to eat?!?

Aquaberries are so interesting,
Filled with water, it'll make you sing!
They'll take care of dehydration,
Filling up the Neopian nation.

Oh, and that red Chiaberry!
It is always looking so jolly and merry!
Especially when it is in the sun,
This berry is number one.

And not to mention those thornberries,
They are kind of prickly and hairy.
Especially good with java and cream,
In heaven you may seem.

Fishberries seem a little gross,
Much weirder than the most.
I wouldn't want a seafood sweet,
Not a taste my mouth would greet.

The dorkleberry looks good,
But really, it's a sour food.
Looking like strawberry deliciousness,
This is a berry you'd like to forget.

So ends this poem about berries,
Good and bad,
And such fun I've had!
Listing berries, those great eats,
A taste that other foods can't beat.

Igloo Garage Sale
By Guitargirl144

Out at the top of a mountain,
So full was a house,
So full of knicknacks, treasures, and things,
There was hardly room for a mouse.

And one day the two Chias --
Mika and Carassa were their names --
Decided to clear the stuffed little house
And turn it into a game.

Off of the shelves flew the items,
Paintbrushes and a plushie.
There even was a snowball
That was starting to get mushy.

Minutes and hours flew by,
Until the house was cleared out,
Then the two Chias advertised --
They put signs up on every route.

Eventually Neopets came
From all across Neopia,
They bought out everything --
It was a garage sale utopia!

Mika and Carassa made
Lots of spending cash,
So they decided to buy some things
To add to their stash.

And so another cycle
Of the pack rat starts anew.
I just wish I had been at that sale --
I needed stuff for my house, too!

The Only Pirate Kiko
By Schefflera

You have seen a mutant Kiko,
And you've seen a Halloween,
But there's no Maraquan Kiko,
Though they love the water green,
And a pirate paintbrush, friends,
Just won't lend that pet its sheen.

Do you wonder what's the reason
For these two to be left out?
Why the Pirate's out of season,
And Maraquan's not about?
Well, it sets the blood to freezin'
And it's just no use to pout.

For the Kiko's not a stranger
To a life that's very full
Both of cruelty and danger
And the tide's strong ebb and pull.
Not the greatest ever ranger
Has known how to stop... the Skull.

Yes, it's he who took Maraqua!
When the tribute was withheld.
His extortion was a shock; a
Warning and... Maraqua felled.
Now the seaweed gently rocks, a
Rubbly hole where cities swelled.

Ah, his name will make you shudder,
Kiko with a skull his head,
Eyepatch, sword, and grip the rudder --
Enemies will all have fled.
Who makes ships and stomachs judder?
Pirate Kiko Captain Dread!

Mutants
By Aakheperkare

One eye I have, but still I see
The angry faces watching me.

I walk through a busy Neopia Central,
Surrounded by the Neopet elite.
The faerie, baby, and pirate pets
Who wonder why I'm not in my cage
Or running wild in the Haunted Woods.
Where nobody sees me or speaks,
I am a monster to them,
Dangerous, no feelings.

Their whispers and their taunts,
Names that do hurt me.
I wish I could be like them
And then I think...

Two eyes they have, but they can't see...
It's great to be a mutant,
It's great to be me.

The Little Aisha Story
By Hazelasher

Yuchae never asked for fortune or fame,
Never really wanted what others could claim.
A simple little girl, with one thing on her mind...
"Oh, how I wish there was a friend I could find!"

So she searched far, and she searched wide,
Knowing that in her instincts she could confide.
And although she met many a prospecting pal,
"There's got to be someone,
And find them, I shall!"

Her quest continued until she fell gravely ill,
(Feeling the worst that any Aisha could feel),
And along came a Snowbunny, chipper and cute!
However, it said nothing to her, for it was mute.

It licked Yuchae's hand, it licked Yuchae's face,
Why, it was tickling her all over the place!
Being the very ticklish Aisha that she was,
Yuchae laughed to the ground as any Aisha does!

So Yuchae scooped up her newfound friend,
Never needing to go searching again.
A mute Snowbunny with a heart of gold
And a friendship that would never grow old!
