The Snowager
By Puffyapricot

That fateful day that was bound to come
Came in all its glory,
But sit, my Neopians, and fall dumb,
As I tell you all my story.

The day started like any other should,
But though I sat there, comfy and curled,
I felt restless, and decided I would
Explore another world.

It was a hot day, of a hundred and some,
(Fahrenheit, you know),
So I decided that I should come
To visit a cooler place, so...

I went to the coolest of them all:
The center of Terror Mountain,
And suddenly, I felt the wild call,
Of adventure, abundant as a fountain.

As you all know, I'm sure,
A giant resides there,
And if you are brave enough, he can lure
You into the Snowager's Lair.

Well, I walked the trail in a steady cycle,
I turned the corner and trekked up to the cave,
No sound was heard but the drip of the icicles,
And I hoped that I would not end up in a grave.

I braced myself, as the last corner I turned,
And to my surprise, I found the Snowager asleep.
I could finally reach for what I had yearned,
But I dared not let out a peep.

I approached the left side of the monster,
And grabbed a random object --
I quickly tiptoed away, hoping again to take
Another item, next time, to inspect.

I hurried home to see my prize,
And found it was an Abominable Snowball --
A Petpet! And as I looked into his eyes,
I knew he was mine, once and for all.

And so ends my story... what's that, you say?
You want to know when I travelled to the cave?
I'm afraid I cannot give you the time of day,
And you'll just have to be brave.

Krawk Island
By Goldangel13neo

There is a place in the ocean great,
Where buccaneers come and take a break.
This tiny island, once serene,
Is now a place of pirates quite mean.

Dubloons are the chosen currency,
Though shopkeepers rather give leniency.
You might find a bargain in someone's shop,
Or perhaps be surprised that it looks like slop.

There is buried treasure
That you can find, but if you try and fail again,
Do not think your mind has grown dim --
The odds of winning are, in fact, quite slim.

There is also a place to learn and train,
Though by no means is it a walk in the rain.
Cap'n Threelegs cuts quite a dashing figure --
All I do now is try to get bigger!

If you're into rare items and things,
Visit the cove and look for a pirate ring!
Most times it is empty, with little to spare,
But for the right price,
You'll find something with flare.

If you have Dubloons left to spend,
The Golden Dubloon can make amends.
They'll charge you an arm and a leg for a bite,
Perhaps it will raise your taste buds
To a new height!

If you want to reach this superb isle,
Follow my directions, however so vile --
Find Mystery Island, I'll give you a hand,
And south is where you'll find Krawk Island!

Monotony: Worth Waiting
By Neo_serenawhitemoon8

Take a look at the Tyrannian Plateau,
Where the Tyrannian Jungle lies below.
There's really nothing to see, nothing to do,
You know why? Because there's nothing new.
There's the Giant Omelette where everyone goes,
And that oh-so-great game called "Go! Go! Go!"
Lair of the Beast that makes fur crawl...
Where is music heard? The Concert Hall!
So like I said before,
There's really nothing to see, nothing to do,
You know why? Because there's nothing new!

Oh wait, wait, wait, wait, WAIT!
What is that I see there? Is it fate?
The Wheel of Monotony, that's what it's called!
Oh, it must be new! Now I'm so enthralled!
With a click of a button
That says "Spin! Spin! Spin!"
I really REALLY hope I'll win!
This sounds fun, this sounds exciting!
This is something, something worth waiting!
Well, here I go, spinning this wheel,
It's simply terrific, making it seem unreal!
There it goes, spinning round and round,
I'll go pull up a chair and stare,
Not making a sound.

Minutes upon minutes as it goes by,
Oh, how I wish the time will fly!
I've been waiting forever just sitting here,
When will it stop? I've waited a year!
This is such a bore, just doing nothing,
But sit here, waiting and waiting.
Ungggg! Maybe I should just forget this...
Wait! Is it stopping? Oh, what bliss!!
"Wait for it, kid," the wheel seems to say,
I am! I am! I've waited all day!
With one final click of a sound,
My spirits soared when it was down.
The Wheel had finally stopped for me...

I won a date with the Beast.

Faerieland
By Exodeath

Hello newbie, having trouble?
Well, I can lend a hand!
I'll be your guide and show you to
The wonderful world of Faerieland!

First, we can go to the magical springs,
And heal your little pets,
Then we'll go to the Wheel of Excitement
And settle any debts!

May I ask you, do you gamble?
'Cause I've seen the perfect thing!
We'll go to the Poogle Races,
I'm sure your bound to win!

Feeling evil? Want some new items?
We'll do Jhudora's Quest,
Because we all know
That Dark Faeries are best!

Next, we'll go to the Agency,
And get your Neopet a job!
They always want some really strange things,
Like a make-up case or corn on the cob!

Now we've won all this money,
Let's find the Hidden Tower!
Fyora sells all kinds of things:
A crystal ball or a magical flower!

But now that we're here,
These things cost too much,
You'll have to get something on sale!
We'll have to leave the home of the Faeries,
But hasn't this made a great tale?

Thanks For Your Help
By Anko_Itamu

You were just sitting there, what a chance!
Shining under the feeble moonlight,
You attracted me with that glance.
I brought you in my Neohome, and all night,
I watched your colorful body dance.

It seemed so hard for you to let it free,
You wanted to keep that treasure within yourself.
I forced it out of you, without much glee.
But don't worry, I only took half,
For it is also precious to me.

Your sweetness gave me the strength I required.
I wish you could've stayed with me for eternity.
You helped me out twice when I was tired.
I would've liked to repay your generosity.
But I never was able to,
Which filled my heart with fire.

As they say, everything must have an end.
You have bravely fulfilled your duty,
You may now rest in peace on this land.
Your name will always remain in my memory,

Super Strength Healing Potion,
You lent me quite a hand!
