On a sunny day in Meridell,
The wind began to blow,
The sun became not so shiny
And the clouds moved ever so slow.
Illusen sat up in her house
And quietly looked outside,
There was Jhudora flying up the hill,
Looking smug with all her pride.
The evil faerie reached the door
And the knob began to turn,
Jhudora stuck her head inside
And her stomach began to churn.
For everywhere she laid her eyes,
Bright colors seemed to arise,
And a Kadoatie lay in the corner,
Much to her surprise.
Jhudora looked towards her sister
Who sweetly smiled back,
For nowhere in Illusen's house
Was there a trace of black.
Only greens and blues and browns,
And even a hint of red --
Illusen's home was not a place
Where evil could be spread.
Illusen quickly got up from her chair
And turned towards her sister,
"Will you just leave?" Illusen asked,
And Jhudora turned around.
"Sure I will leave this place,
For to me, it's as painful as a blister!"
The faerie I see brings a tears to my eyes.
How did a sweet young faerie turn out this way?
But now she sits, forlorn and unloved,
As she struggles to conceal the emotions
Buried deep within her soul.
I used to know this faerie,
But now she is a stranger to me.
She was always happy and full of life,
Indeed the exact opposite of the
Grey waif before me now.
Her grey eyes, with their tear-spiked lashes,
Torment me with their despairing gaze.
This faerie should have been beautiful;
Indeed, she was at one time.
But now her hair lacks luster,
And her once sweet smile has faded.
My heart aches at how she has changed.
I wish I could help her somehow.
My gaze shifts to her wings,
And tears begin to overflow.
The once glorious, filmy wings are gone.
In their place are miserable, tattered feathers,
And she has no hope of escapingthe cold rain
Falling upon her bowed head.
This faerie is alone and unloved,
I can tell from how she regards me warily;
Trust has never worked for her.
The single faerie she ever trusted...
And as tears stream from her eyes,
I see that she has completely lost all hope.
To be a faerie without wings
Is the greatest reproach of all.
Not only were her powers stolen,
But now she must suffer eternal shame.
There lies only one hope for this pitiable faerie:
To change her name and change herself.
Angrily, I splash my hand into the crystal waters
Marring the reflection of myself
That dances on the surface.
My tears drip slowly into
The puddle they have formed.
And I realize that what I saw
In my own eyes is true
I am alone, shamed, powerless.
I am a grey faerie.
We're GRUUNDO from KRELUDOR!
Let us hear you give a roar!
From the moon to Concert Hall,
We are here to have a ball!
Skin of orange, hair of green,
I'm the best you've ever seen!
Bring some earplugs if you want;
"Turn it down?" Well no, we won't!
Skin of orange, hair of brown,
Gonna hear us go to town!
We're moon-rockin' every word!
We're the best you've ever heard!
Get a poster, get a shirt,
Get a jammin' doll and flirt!
Get a mug that's full of stars,
Get a guitar, play some bars!
We're the highest band around!
Hey, we barely touch the ground!
Back at home we play so high,
That we're really in the sky!
Moonwalk up and moonwalk back!
Fall in love with every track!
Let us hear you cheer and shout,
'Cause you'll never drown us out!
Well, you've got a lot of stones,
Where we've come to play our tones,
But you just might get a shock --
Kreludor can REALLY rock!
I was sitting in my ship,
Wondering where to head next.
I could go to Krawk Island,
They have the best workmanship.
But I decided against that thought,
The Krawks weren't my bowl of cherries.
So I wondered what place was really hot,
And I thought of mysteries.
Mystery Island; that was the spot!
It had the food, the features, and the hot!
But then I'd have to travel far,
It was far away from where we are.
Back at square one, this was chilling,
And my new idea came from that chill.
I could head to Happy Valley for a filling,
And climb Terror Mountain easily;
It's only a hill!
But alas, it was just too cold
For me to want to go there; all brave and bold!
I want to go to somewhere hot!
Is there somewhere where it's not?
In the Lost Desert, I could visit Sutek's Tomb!
And see the magnificent Coltzan's Shrine!
But alas, in that tomb, I would meet my doom
And in deserts there isn't enough pine!
And right above there is a spooky place!
Yeah, I'm talking about the Haunted Woods,
With Eliv Thade as it's representative face.
There I could get all kinds of spooky goods!
But on that thought it was too spooky,
For me to go there and play hooky!
Medieval times have always been nice...
Where could I go without the big price?
Meridell's once heck of a place,
Where I could get a new face!
Farming, it's the greatest way,
To get me to pile hay!
But I need modern; I need shops!
I need a place with two bellhops!
I need a Post Office always open to me!
I need Usukiland to keep me in glee!
I need a Chocolate Factory
To take away my hunger!
I need the Book Shop
To take away my slumber!
Neopia Central truly is the place for me!
And my travels; there they'll be.
My pet Sano loves asparagus very much,
He eats it everyday by the bunch!
At breakfast or dinner,
Asparagus is always the taste winner!
He eats it here and there,
Sano can eat it almost anywhere!
On a pyramid or by a Neohome,
Even when chasing that Morris Gnome!
My, how much can he eat?
I'm afraid he can eat
More than you can play Cheat!
Everyone gets nauseous looking at him eat;
Yes, even Count Von Roo gets beat!
It's a wonder how he's still in shape,
Considering how much asparagus he's ate!
Don't laugh at his asparagus addiction,
He has an asparagus condition!
Other neopets think it's nasty and gross,
But Sano thinks it tastes like toast!
This poem is coming to an end,
Because Sano's asparagus
Is stuck in a U-Bend!!!
