QUIGGLE DAY SPECIAL
Quinton the Quiggle
Quinton the Quiggle is a peculiar guy
Unlike other Quiggles he won't touch Fly Pie
He turns up his nose at Lice Rice and grubs
He certainly won't eat slimy Snail Subs
Don't try to offer him
Fruit flies or leeches
No ants nor beetles,
No Infested Peaches
If you offer him
Your Hot Worm Hot Dog to lick
Don't be surprised if it
Makes him quite sick
For Quinton the Quiggle
Won't eat bugs, you know
It is only healthy food
That make his cheeks glow
Offer him a Brussel Sprout
With gravy or cheese
A Deluxe Organic Salad
Will make him weak at the knees
For a special treat
An Artichoke Cupcake hits the spot
And in cold weather
Cauliflower Soup, nice and hot
Radishes, broccoli or a Spherical Strawberry
Will make this unusual Quiggle quite merry
So instead of trying to cause Quinton strife
Buy him a carrot and gain a friend for life
Anatomy of a Quiggle
6 fingers and 6 toes,
Big head, no nose
That's the way,
The Quiggle goes.
Big round eyes,
And a big ol' mouth,
Big ol' lungs,
To scream and shout.
Little body, big face
Little legs, big waist
Long, pink tongues
All to lick and taste
So if ever you need to know
All Quiggle parts
Refer to this rhyme
And take it to heart.
Quinton the Quiggle
The fine, fine land of Neopia
is a land of many treats.
From chocolate to truffles,
from cakes to creams,
there's always an abundance of sweets.
Pets will stuff themselves silly,
to the point where they almost burst!
And a nice big can of Neocola
will be sure to quench their thirst.
Yes, it seems in Neopia,
everyone takes more than their share
of candies and cookies and cupcakes and such,
it's almost too much to bear.
But inside a giant broccoli,
hidden behind Pizzaroo,
is a friendly little green Quiggle,
who sells foods that are good for you.
Poor Quinton is the aim of such ridicule,
for selling such bland and boring foods.
Pets will just sneer and walk right by his shop,
to go buy their chocolaty goods.
But the truth about Quinton's small store,
is that the food is not boring at all!
He's got a great selection for everyone,
whether you're fat, thin, short or tall.
Fixing to make a salad?
His veggies come in wide array.
And if you're in need of a last minute dessert,
his organic fruits are sure to save the day!
And if you've got a wild sweet tooth,
well, Quinton's is the place for you.
He has his own brand of cookies and cakes
and they're all low in fat, too!
The snacks you'll find in the Health Shop are great
for your mind, your soul and your heart.
If you're looking to cut
all that junk from your diet,
well, then Quinton's is the best place to start.
So next time you go to reach
for that great big iced sticky bun,
grab a carrot instead
(they're great before bed),
and think of your old pal Quinton!
The Ninja Quiggle
I've got a ninja Quiggle,
Froggy Twosteps is his name,
But since Sloth last invaded,
He just hasn't been the same.
He used to be quite fearsome,
He fought on Neopia's side,
But now when we're in the Battledome,
He tries to run and hide.
He's got a lot of worries,
Of his fears I've made a list,
And I've had to reassure him,
Mutant Quiggles don't exist!
He creeps around each corner,
He looks before he leaps,
He hides away in Meridell
Behind the farmer's rubbish heaps!
I've got a Quiggle ninja,
But he isn't very brave,
In fact he's really quite a whinger,
And it's him I have to save!
Not any carrot - a golden carrot
Is what Quinton sought.
For compared to sugary foods,
Health food just scored naught.
A salesman gave him quite a hint
As to the gold veggie's location
A Kiko Lake cave, he had said,
Would be Quinton's destination.
A tiring journey, long and winding,
Took Quinton to Kiko Lake
Feeling hot, and very thirsty,
Quinton thought he'd have a break.
He bent to take a sip of water
And was confused as he looked down
For there was not his own reflection,
But a hungry Jetsam's frown!
He only just dodged being lunch
As he stood on the docks
Then he heard the rumbling
Of some avalanching rocks!
He had to run for shelter
Or get some nasty knocks
So he hid deep in a cave
To avoid the tumbling rocks.
Was what he saw
The golden carrot
On the floor!
When he came back
Triumphant and proud
The Health Food Shop
Gathered a crowd
For now health food
Was more exciting
And Quinton's shop seemed
Compared to unhealthy food, you see,
Health food now scores infinity!
