KRAWK DAY SPECIAL

Creatures of the Deep
By Faeriestories

Down beneath the waters grim
Where only brave ones dare to swim
Amongst the twisting seaweed heaps
And in the caves so dark and dim
Live the creatures of the deep.

A lost race, they dwell below
Krawks with fins, friend or foe?
Some are nice, they play and leap
Some are not, for as you know
They are creatures of the deep.

Some like battle, fighting hard
They are seen with high regard
Others are shy, say not a peep
While songs sing sweetly like a bard
All are creatures of the deep.

But no matter their display
I'm sure they all would like to say
Though some may cry and some may weep
Have a beautiful Krawk day
From all the creatures of the deep.

Krawk Haiku
By Elcaballoderojo

Joyful little Krawk
Scales, a pale emerald color
Trots into a cave.

The Petpet follows
After his larger owner
Tripping over stones

He smells an odor
So pleasant and delicious
From some green fungus

He takes some and eats
Chewing fast, unstoppable
He gulps more and more

Suddenly he feels
A tingling in his spine
Spreading through his veins

Suddenly it stops
Everything seems much smaller
The Krawk blinks his eyes

He looks at his paws
At the rest of his body
In bewilderment

He realizes now
That he isn't a Petpet
But a Neopet

He smiles in delight
Moving so happily to
The cavern's great mouth

Joyful, full-grown Krawk
Scales a bright emerald color
Strolls out of the cave.

Dorak the Krawk
By Ibeenbad

In the bay of Krawk Island
There's a rather strange fellow
Who is completely obsessed
With coins made of yellow
Well, the yellow is gold,
So he's on the right track
That intrepid young Krawk
That is known as Dorak

Chasing dubloons from dawn until night
He rows in his boat at the first hint of light.
He rows out to sea, then rows on some more
(Which is quite an improvement
Since he once rowed on shore)

The boat was a present for a really great guy
He would sit on the beach, his oars staying dry
His friends all had laughed,
Naming him Captain Lenny
And his poor boat was called
The Slow Return by so many

A patch on one eye, and a hook on his hand
He'd sit there and row all day on the sand
A Pawkeet perched on his shoulder all day
As they gazed from the sand, on out to the bay

The day finally came, that his boat hit the ocean
The waves were quite brisk
In a wavish type motion
Captain Lenny, or Dorak...
I suppose you can pick
Picked up on his rowing,
He had learned it real quick

And that was the day a new life was started
And Captain Lenny was
Once and for all quite departed
Dorak remained, as he hunted down treasure
Golden dubloons are a pirate's one pleasure

So come to the Island, and look for that Krawk
(He's gotten quite rich, I promise you'll gawk)
Whether it rains or it shines, he's out chasing gold
Ducking the mines, that boy is quite bold!

Krawk Island Surprise
By Darciekender

Two shivering figures creep
beneath the full moon's silver light
across Krawk Island's gloomy beach
on a chilly, windy night.

The first one, named Irissa,
is an Eyrie colored red.
She shivers in the biting frost
and struggles on ahead.

The other midnight wanderer,
a small green Petpet Krawk,
follows as his master finds
a cliff face made from rock.

"Over here!" Irissa says.
Her Petpet turns around.
Within the cliff, there is a cave,
a chasm in the ground.

The Eyrie leads her Petpet forward,
deep into the smugglers' cave.
Lighting a torch with some flint and a spark,
she warns him to behave.

While Irissa looks for hiding pirates,
Krawvin spies a lovely sight.
There's fungus growing in the cave.
He gobbles it down with delight.

"Don't eat that filth!" Irissa cries.
And then she gasps, "Oh no!"
Her Petpet Krawvin is engulfed
inside a bright green glow.

"Where's Krawvin?" asks Irissa.
She stumbles back with fear.
The full-grown Krawk before her laughs.
And then he says, "I'm here!"

The Fungus Caves
By Milorules

There is a magic within Krawk Island
Surrounded with water, covered in sand
Within lies a magical place for Krawks
Bringing in small Krawk Petpets in flocks

A mystical thing from eating slime
Petpets grow into pets within no time
Once they were small and without speech
A wonderful cave for Krawks off the beach

Within this special cave a slime exists
Causing them to have excitement fits
Each Krawk Petpet lines up for a bite
Then as they eat, they grow in height

These enable Petpets to make a huge turn
Getting what each secretly does yearn
A life of independence, wonder, and joy
What each Krawk wants, girl or boy

While they loved their past Neopet owner
They strive to have their own life's corner
To make their own decisions on a whim
To enjoy their life... run, jump, and swim!
