Gadgadsgame Celebration
By Phoebemittens
The Kougra came down
Like a Lupe on the fold,
His tiger-stripes gleaming
In purple and gold;
And the sheen on his claws
Was like stars on the sea,
That nightly rolls down
'Neath the land of Faerie.
Like the great Techo Master
On Mystery Isle,
That Kougra's swift skills
Would seem for a while:
Like the sad doom of failure
Hangs over Frank Sloth,
That Kougra's frustration
Would soon wax him wroth.
For the great game of Gadgad
Seems simple and fine,
But the fruit stacks up fast
When you reach level nine;
And the juggling required
Is a terrible skill
Yet the Kougra but once slipped,
And bravely played still!
But see! Stray ummagines,
Lost and alone--
And there lies a blobbule,
So carelessly thrown.
The crowd, it grew hushed
As they watched him at work
Not a sound could be heard
But the rock-beating surf.
Now the pile of gruish melons
Near touches the sky,
And the face of the Kougra
Looks like he might cry;
And the might of the Kougra's
Lithe, sprightly young frame,
Hath melted like slushies
In the face of that game!
P.S. But it's okay,
He got in the high-scores table anyway.

Wintery Petpet Fun
By Fluff57
Polarchucks and Snowbunnies
Rolling in the snow.
Fir branches wave
When the wintery wind blows.
Felfs and Raindorfs resting
After a busy holiday season.
Candychans buzzing through
The air, without cause or reason.
A red Jinjah runs by
Sprinting for its life,
With a Snowickle behind,
Trying to take a bite.
The pink & ghost Onas
Having a snowball fight
Against the blue Onas, who end up
Getting help from the brown and white.
The Powtry and Yullie digging holes
And making igloos.
Feepits sledding by
As if they have nothing to lose.
Red Jinjah is finally safe
As the Snowickle begins to tire.
A fire Ona walks by, clearing
A path with its fire.
All the wintery petpets
All having a ball.
Even Wreathy,
Still hangs on the wall.
For the Wintery Petpets
The Winter is a wonder
Fun-filled snowy blast.
It's too bad the season doesn't last.
But even when this season
Is finally over and done,
There will be another,
For wintery, snow-filled fun.

A Toast to Turmaculus
By evilbob111
There's a creature of which
Perhaps you've heard,
Who sleeps all day and night
With hardly a word.
He mostly mutters
"Snore snore snore" all day long,
And often ignores you
When you sing him a song.
But yet we return to him
Each and every day,
"Please let him wake up"
We pray and pray.
When he does, there's
Treasure to be found,
Points, levels, or a swordbush
To plant in the ground!
Thank you Turmaculus,
We are grateful to you,
Those rumors that you eat
Petpets can't be true!
Sorry about all the bad
Dancing, screaming, and poking,
Oh, you were too tired to notice?
You must be joking!
So, don't forget to visit Turmy every day!
Just remember one thing when he rolls over:
GET OUT OF THE WAY!

The Return of Dr. Sloth
By Laurachan2379
Mutated Neopets all around
New transmogrification potions have been found
All of this makes some people's stomachs churn
It could mean Doctor Sloth's return
We aren't sure if his coming is nigh
Though probability of his return is high
Many clues we have got
But when he'll come, we know not
Some out there are on his side
And their support for him they do not hide
Others are either stricken by fear
Or getting ready in case his coming is near
What, exactly, is Neopia's fate?
Is there anything we can do, or is it too late?
Or is Sloth not coming at all?
Or will Neopia fall?
The Space Faerie is always there
To save the day if Sloth does not play fair
But if he does, will she succeed?
Or will she be a victim of his greed?
Maybe Sloth isn't assembling a crew
Maybe rumors of his return aren't true
But we never know...
He could even show up tomorrow...

Shadow Usul
By Snowboard_chick1710
Midnight black
Swift and silent as can be
She glides across the floors
Of a path no eyes have seen
Blending with shadow
Appearing to be invisible
Only the frail steam of moonlight
Showing her for what she is
Stealthily she reaches a clearing
Small and littered with branches
With logs
And broken memories
She glides silently past
Trying to forget
The happy memories that lay here
Continuing she arrives
Upon another clearing
A sagging, desolate hut
With paling colors
Sits in its center
Her victim lies
Within the dwelling
A grin spreads on her
Shadowy features
Quickly as a bolt of lighting
She follows the stream of shadows
Like a path showing her the way
She opens the window
Glides in unnoticed
And takes anything she pleases
Then leaves a smoky message
For the defenseless person
Upon the old broken mirror
