Faelinn Plushie Obsession
By Girly_anime_girl

All my life it's been my dreams,
To hug her mouldy, rotting seams.
Despite her vile, corruptive stench,
She is the cutest zombie wench!

Fresh to me from beyond the grave,
In a forbidden, dank cursed cave.
She waits for a hero to set her free,
But I want her to play with me!

Trapped by a megalomanical bird,
Surrounded by ghosts--most absurd!
Forget the minions and spells of old,
"HUG ME! HUG ME!" I'll scream so bold.

One of my friends who's beat the game,
Tells me the secret of her shame.
"Show her that shiny thing," he says,
"And you'll be huggle-ing all your days!"

So I did just what he said,
Beat that silly snake-man over the head.
I stole that thing he held most dear,
And had that Lenny make it clear.

I rushed over to Kal Panning,
It was foolproof, this plot I'm planning!
I saw my precious over there,
With corpse-like features and odd teal hair!

I showed her the medallion,
She screamed in pain,
So I just grabbed her by the mane.
Off over the Endless Plains I rode,
And took her to my grand abode.

Forever and ever I'll always be,
Obsessed with that Faelinn plushie.
I'll fantasize and hope and wish,
'Til I can give that plush a squish!

Obsession
By Cakravartin15

Recently I have found myself
The possessor of a new addiction,
Or perhaps it is better labeled
Quite a serious affliction.

What is this sickness, you ask,
That has taken ahold of me?
Plushies, I say!
What else could it be?

I spend my days stalking,
The Toy Shop I am haunting,
I cannot get enough,
I just keep wanting!

I'm not sure what entices me--
The colours, shapes, or themes,
All I know is I have this need,
And it plays out in my dreams!

My torment is the rare ones,
Those ones I sometimes see,
I cannot seem to grab them,
Too slow... too bad for me.

My obsession has been growing,
For today I sat myself down,
And seriously pondered the question--
Why don't they come in brown?

I've even made a list,
Of each one that I own,
And though it was born today,
It's already partly grown!

And as I sit here, writing,
I find the urge to go,
The shops, they are refreshing,
There are plushies to be bought, you know!

The Ballad of a Young Nimmo
By Dayosh

The battle raged around him,
His village torn asunder,
The invaders were mighty in their attack,
Both in pillage and in plunder.

Sweet_Jeeba wielded his mighty blade,
A sword hewn cold from ice,
He raised it high above his head,
It was battered, but would suffice.

He then jumped high into the air,
Letting out a loud war cry,
His fiery gaze upon his foes,
And let his attack, with fury, fly.

He swung his sword, as he'd been taught,
By Ryshu, his beloved mentor,
The ice-cold blade glinted in the sun,
In all of its deadly splendor.

He swung left, and swung right,
He used the "shuck and jive",
He swung and slashed and punished his foes,
He had to stay alive.

He bobbed and weaved throughout the fight,
Their blades but barely missing,
He vaulted high, up over his foes,
'Til his blade they all were kissing.

He fought them 'til the sun went down,
Our Nimmo, bruised and tired,
And as the moon rose up over the sea,
The last one finally expired.

Panting heavily, he sheathed his sword,
And took a long, hard look around,
The battle was over, the enemy slain,
Now peace and wonderment abound.

And so it came to be, that this,
A young Nimmo, daring and brave,
Had won the epic battle, single handed,
And had managed, the day, to save.

A Day in the Life of Dougal the Poogle
By Casth1

There once was a young pet called Dougal
Who was a bouncy purple Poogle.
He said, "No, not yet
Do I have a Petpet."
So he went out and bought himself a Drugal.

Then he said, "Now, I'm not being fruity
But I feel I'm neglecting my duty.
I am a Poogle
And I have a Drugal
So why shouldn't he have a Cooty?"

Once Dougal had the Petpetpet
All three of them went to the vet
"You've got the all clear!
There's nothing to fear,"
Said the surgeon (a Taweret).

This made them happy, no doubt
So they all toddled off and went out
To the Golden Dubloon
For some food and some tunes
And to see what the fuss was about.

Well, they loved the place, so they say
And from then on barely stayed away.
Content, Dougal said,
As they all went to bed,
"This has been a most delightful day!"

Maraqua's Ruin
By Lil_acorn

In the solitude of the sea,
Hidden deep from prying eyes,
Among the ruin and rubble
A gleaming spire lies.

Iridescent pearl-encrusted columns
Once standing proud, now fallen
Like sentinels
Struck dumb and forsaken.

Slimy things grotesquely swirl
Over the mother o' pearl
That were once upon a time
Windows looking on a blessed world.

Precious stones and coral gold
That were once a joy to behold
Lie strewn about: lightless,
Their sparkle dead and cold.

At times sad-eyed Peophins peer
At the scattered gilded gear
And shake their manes,
Remembering what once was here.

For this thing that lies decaying
Was once none other than the stunning
Residence of no less than
The very Maraquan King!

When before it was filled
With creatures finned and gilled,
It now lies abandoned
To the murky waters chilled.

For as the palace grew
In stature, grace and hue,
With it the looming greed
That would consume it all grew, too.

Bigger! Taller! Faster!
And as the city grew grander
It drew attention unwanted
And envy unwished for.

And when the perfect bubble
Burst, there was then trouble
That reduced the once fair city
To nothing but rubble.

So young ones take heed
A testiment to the curse of greed
Lies ensnared amid the cold
And slimy deep-sea weeds.
