Day of Giving Fiasco

'Twas the night before the Day of Giving,
And all through the house
Roared the flames from my kitchen--
Too many to douse.

My oven exploded,
I started to run.
Then I realized that just meant
My Scamander cookies were done.

My hot cheesy baguettes
Also looked grim
After nine whole hours
of oven-roasting them.

My almost gummy rat looked great,
An out-and-out hit.
But it took a chainsaw
To cut into it.

And I thought my Scorchio shortcake
Had reached a new high,
'Til flies took a whiff
And dropped out of the sky

My caramel brussel sprouts
Never seemed to get done
And my homemade Chokato pound cake
Weighed more like a ton.

And what did my apple
Krawk cake lack
That so many Mootix
Would bring the crumbs back?

So maybe I'll hang up
My apron today
And let all my Neopets
Have a "healthy" Giving Day!

Oh, To Be Clean...

Fluffy and beautiful with a coat of pure white,
That's so bright and perfect, a marvellous sight.
Fur that is soft and lovely to touch,
Won't even wear off if you touch it too much.
A little pink nose so cute and tiny,
Always accurate and never too shiny.
All together its a perfect set,
For a loveable, huggable Snowbunny Petpet.

Sadly for me I have none of those features,
I'm not one of those adorable creatures.
All of my owner's loving embraces
Always end in sticky grimaces.
For no matter how much I bathe and I wash,
This disgusting slimy layer will never come off.
A Snotbunny's wish is just to be clean,
For you see it has never been easy being green...

Bilge Dice Fantasies

The pirate stared at me as I walked by,
"Bilge Dice! Bilge Dice!" I heard him cry.
Interested, I was to join, just one game small,
I made a bet, took the dice, six cubes in all.

Heaving a sigh, the dice were shaken,
A single-dotted die was mine for the takin'
The other pets rolled,
And their turns did they seize,
Their results were pathetic... please, oh please.

My turn - with crossed fingers,
I made a swift roll,
The dice were lucky; they, for me, did take a toll.
A pair of sixes, two fives and a four,
They added to my total, which began to soar.

As the turns passed, one by one,
My smile grew bigger, for I knew I'd won.
Yes, for sure, the others knew it, too,
The frowns they wore, their faces so blue.

At last, time to compare the scores,
That for me, was the time of all bores.
I'd won, I knew it; it just had to be me!
At last, something special for my buddies to see.

Indeed, I was given the grand cash prize,
But alas, as I took it, I heard the pirates' sighs.
And so, addicted I was
To this remarkable dice game,
We duked it out further,
And the results? Never the same.

So, go, yes, and try this game of skill and luck,
You'll never know, when you're winning or stuck.
I urge you all, whether big or small,
Just try this addiction; you might win it all!

More Advent Calendar Limericks

December is sadly half done,
As well as my calendar fun,
For half a month more,
My pets can adore,
My SDB weighing six tonnes!

The cute snowball fight Usuki,
Comes with snowballs that are free,
Pull them from the arm,
Without causing harm,
And use them on your pet's Cooty!

The plastic Fir is no delight,
It does not take too much foresight,
For all goodness sake,
Could you see the mistake?
That real Firs will get jealous and fight!

The Shadow Usul ice lolly,
Is far from being jolly,
It's such a cold treat,
One you'll like to eat,
Though the melting bits are a big folly.

The beautiful Snowbunny chair,
Is covered with Snowbunny hair,
Sit back and relax,
With cola and snacks,
While ignoring your Snowbunny's glare.

Hannah's Find

With a "Yo-ho-ho" and a "Yarrrr" and an "Arrrr"
The pirates of old hid their stash.
In unending gloom in the caves of doom,
The buccaneers sealed their cache.

But lo! A wench with a thirst to quench
For adventure found an old map
That marked the spot where they hid their lot,
So out she went in a snap.

She slipped in a sloop off Cape Caroop,
And found the isle where it lay,
And carried by wave to a tiny cave,
She went in to find what she may.

But a trap had been put underfoot
By those crafty pirates of yore,
And as she crept with wary step,
The ground collapsed with a roar!

She went for a ride down a slippery slide,
And ended up in a heap;
A voice did shout, "Now can't get out!
Here you'll find eternal sleep!"

Did that faze her? No way, no sir!
She piped up and called out, "Not yet!
I'll see light of day when I get my way!
You can't scare me with your threat!

I'll get out and more;
I'll steal your whole hoard;
All of your treasure and loot.
I'll take all I find; I'll leave none behind,
And I'll do it with fair ease to boot!"

So come and play her game today,
Get brave Hannah out of this bind;
