The Volcano Haikus

The volcano smokes,
Perhaps to erupt quite soon,
But no one knows why.

The master is gone,
People say he was kidnapped,
But who will be next?

The Tiki Tack man,
Why he didn't leave a note,
Is a mystery.

And while Mora cries,
In the house of the Mystic,
The smoke gets thicker.

The Island natives,
Wait in terror for the day,
For possible death.

Who could have done this?
To inflict such horrid fear,
None but pure evil.

Appreciation

What a compassionate soul is the Soup Faerie.
My Usul and I were hungry - nay, famishing!
And not one Neopoint did we carry.
She fed us, and her soup was lavishing.

Her turnip broth is nothing short of magick.
The belly of my Usul was soon fulfilled.
Because of her, this poem is not tragic.
She fed us, and we were not billed.

One day, when we are well and rich with grace;
We shall give a magnificent and grand donation
To that giant cauldron in the Neopian Marketplace
And the Soup Faerie; let's give her an ovation!

Newbie Stereotypes

Are they beggars?
Stereotypes agree.
Never satisfied,
Always plea.

Underestimating values,
Want to get rich quick.
Believing there are cheats
Or handy little tricks.

I've met a few newbies
And they don't seem that bad.
When I told them this
Majority seemed quite sad.

Don't just judge a person
Or call them n00bs for your own fun.
Why don't you get to know them?
That would please everyone.

A blue Pteri cries
and through a thicket of cacti
the Magtile slithers

Chilling winter snows
surround Terror Mountain's peak
glistening moonlight

Mountainous Pillars on Mystery Island

Smoke pours out in pillars
dark, black
and full of ashes.
An angel of fire
keeps me away
and I will not venture closer.
My curiosity is growing
and I stay for longer periods
to peer at this majestic mountain.
Smoking its natural pipe
and scaring none but few.
Arousing the adventure
in hearts of those brave pets
who stay and watch
the smoke pour out in pillars
dark and black and full of ashes.

Some people have gone missing
kidnapped from their homes
and no one knows their whereabouts
but them the tentative escapee.
I'll watch and wait
and read the paper
And see when the Faerie turns
long enough for me to go
and settle this once and for all.
I will venture to this mountain
that pours smoke
out in pillars
dark and black
and full of ash.
The ashes of lost time,
or the ashes of those Neopians
who ventured a little too far?
Or, could it be a sign to quickly run away
before the mile high beast awakes?
